Fortunately, the pub was right across from my gate...thats where the 1 star comes from. I wasnt greeted so I sought out a menu and waited up front behind another lady. Within a few moments, a lady with dark red hair told the lady in front of me that there was "table service". I assume she figured I would hear her because she didnt bother to acknowledge me. I sat down at a table for about two minutes and no one came to me HOWEVER a couple came straight in and sat down & the main waitress (blonde hair) flew out asking them what drinks they would like. Really? I stopped the other lady with red hair and asked her could I be assisted and she told me "shell be right out". I told her "She has been out and helped another couple before me so Im sure Ive been overlooked". She was kind enough to go find my "waitress" (theres your 2nd star) and ask her to help me. I only had 20 minutes before boarding my flight so I ordered the SIMPLEST thing...SPRITE & FRIES! My soda was SPRITE JUICE and my fries came out toasted...so I chumped on enough crunchy fries to take my vitamins and left. I dont plan on returning. Total waste of my $8.00.

Only beer on tap is Bud light? (In Austin??) I really wish I had read the reviews before sitting down here. I was drawn in by the live music- and the servers seemed nice enough... but the food... ugh. Just because youre an airport restaurant doesnt mean you can mock folks. Maybe the salad was the way to go, as the other reviewer suggested. I had shrimp tacos- cant recommend them- too plain, even when I asked for something (anything) to make them less dry.. no salsa available, so I added "Sriracha ranch" (the only option), but these two tacos were still not great. Heres what Id like to kindly suggest to managers: you can do better, if you put some effort into the food. The seating flow could also use work- (seat yourself? If so, perhaps make a sign to that effect, and wok on getting tables Bussed). Side note: beware the lack of prices on the wines. Yes, I should have asked before ordering- that way I would have avoided the $12.00 wine with the mediocre 10.99 shrimp tacos.

Horrible. It was the worst Grilled Chicken Salad I have ever had. It is a very limited menu and we were there at the lunch hour of New Years Eve day. The pub was down to a bare menu in food. What establishment in a busy airport doesnt order food to meet the demand? It is poorly managed and if I were manager the chef would be fired for letting the food supply get so depleted. My 80 yr. old mother wanted the deli sandwich...not wanting ham she chose turkey only to be told that is one ingredient not available. Instead she opted to have just the cheese, lettuce and tomato. What she received was appalling. It was melted processed cheese on a bun. What happened to it being a cold deli sandwich? I have written the manager and have yet to hear from him two days later. If I were you, Id avoid this place. There are other better managed establishments in the airport with quality food and chefs to cook it.

So I read the bad reviews on this place but decided to chance it since it was right across from my gate. Honestly, I had a much better experience than I was expecting. I ordered the breakfast plate which was only $8, which seems to be the cost of a muffin at the airport these days. It came with toast, fried potatoes and scrambled eggs. I dont eat meat, so the waitress offered to add grilled peppers and mushrooms instead of the bacon. The food was pretty oily, but still tasty, and it is a pub after all. The service was friendly and I got my food pretty quickly. All in all not worth the bad reviews, at least for the meal I ordered.

Disgusting glassware covered in dust and fingerprints, the bar area was filled with dishes that had flies swarming around old food. Bartender had allergies and was constantly sneezing. Im glad I only ordered one bottled beer because I probably could have caught some sickness from this bar. Also, $6.50 for a Firemans #4?!?! I did not order food because the menu was terribly lacking of any substance beyond mediocre pub food. Never go to this bar! I should have realized something was suspicious when few people were seated in there around 4pm. Most people came in, looked around, and left.

Burger was as hard as a hockey puck. The waitress takes my order, never asks what I want to drink. I ask if I have to order my own drink separately from the bar (water). She says yes but proceeds to bring drinks to every table around me. Brings me my bill and tells me the amt out loud while im still eating. I wont say that I was the only black person in there but....Anyway, I made sure to get a bottled water elsewhere rather than leaving a tip being that I never had a drink with my dry burger. Mediocre food at the airport I can handle, poor service after a long week I cant do it.

Well... I didnt have nearly the bad time that other reviewers did. At this end of the airport terminal, your options are pretty much limited. I chose this place simply because it had good live music. The food was only so-so, but thats pretty standard for airport pub grub. The service I got looked to be substantially better than what other reviewers reported. Although I seated myself, a waiter came over, took my order, and brought me my food promptly. He also checked in several times to make sure I was OK. Sounds like your experience here will be hit or miss.

I spend 160 days a year traveling, and this is the worst service Ive ever had in an airport restaurant. And Ive come to have pretty low expectations. The server literally said 2 words to me the entire time, "Ready?" and "I.D." Never responded to me thanking her, even though I sat there for 20 minutes waiting for her to come by. The fastest she ever moved was to the tables when someone would leave so she could get her tips. The food was mediocre, and the only beers on tap are Bud Light and Miller Light...and they call themselves a "PUB."

Disappointing. The chicken patty on my sandwich was barely larger than a chicken nugget. Also terribly inconvenient process of ordering in one place, picking up in a another, leaving your luggage across a crowded room because you dont want to bash people with it and need hands free to carry food. (This is unfortunately the rule for restaurants at the Austin airport; not a place to have a relaxing layover.) Also cook was slow and refused to call out order numbers loud enough to be heard over the blaring 80s music.

Waited 45-50 min to get cold chicken wings and potato soup. Like it came out of the refrigerator. I asked if she could heat soup in microwave. Never got it. I came in there at 3:40pm my flight was 5:15pm. Waitress was not very friendly or efficient. Atarina. She gave me the bill 8.65 then charged my credit card a higher amount.then I had yo wait additional 12 min for her to correct it. I missed my boarding call and I was right there at the gate beside this restaurant.
