Well I dont know where to start but here I go. I started going to Los Pinos for about 1 month now and ever since I started going for tacos I have been have problems with this 1 EMPLOYEE name Chayo he is always rude, he never explains himself, he is just not a good worker or something maybe he dislikes me I dont know I just feel that vib with him and only him. Well today(8/7/14) I ordered 4 tacos & as I walked in I already saw my bag ready and I just had to ask him why is it that my tacos are upfront getting cold.... well there was another customer and he went to go grab his bag from the back., well I dont think its right .. next I asked him for the green salsa and he says there will be a fee, I said thats fine well he got mad because I told him that why is it when I come here I always have problems no one else but you. SO I PAID FOR THE TACOS ALREADY WELL HE TELL ME YOU KNOW I AM NOT SELLING YOU THE TACOS HE SNATCHED THEM FROM MY HAND AND HE RIPPED MY BAG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WELL I TOLD HIM I WANTED FRESH TACOS AND HE SAID NO TO BAD I WILL PUT THEM IN A NEW BAG HELLO I DONT WANT NEW BAG I WANT NEW TACOS WELL THE COOK COMES OUT LIKE IF HE IS GOING TO TELL ME STUFF OR SOMETHING AND HE TELLS ME HE IS NOT GOING TO COOK NOTHING FOR ME........ ITS GOOD FOOD BUT HE IS VERY VERY VERY BAD AT HIS JOB I HOPE THAT THE OWNER GIVES ME A CALL BECAUSE THIS IS NOT RIGHT ATT ALL I CALLED THE LOCATION ON BEE CAVE TO SEE WHAT I CAN DO I LEFT THEM MY NUMBER SO I AM WAITING FOR THat call... thats because the Chayo and the cook said call around this time they lie but I will get this taken care of !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I HOPE THEY LET HIM GO AND FINE A NEW PERSON GOD BE WITH THAT PERSON!!!!!

Pros - half the staff works hard Cons- everything else. The kids quesidia smelled like tuna. The burrito was ok but nothing to get excited about. The drink plastic glass had chunks it to a point you could cut your finger. They obviously dont use a scoop to get the ice, which means thier hands are in the ice. I waited way too long to get a seat while the staff joked and giggled in the side. Very poor discipline by management to get the staff to give good service. Our main waiter was Cesear and he was good guy who worked hard. If they had more of him they would do well. The one girl their worked and one older guy too. Everyone else seemed to be lazy and didnt really care. I dont look for 5 star service but this wasnt even 1 star. Terrible will not go back ever.

First time today... went because of other Yelp reviews and I now live a stones throw from Los Pinos... Food was excellent. Ceviche was stellar. Dont go for the service but when you enter you know you are at an authentic Tex Mex place from the wonderful smells from the kitchen. Opt for the special margarita not the one on the board with strange additions but the house special.... Ground beef enchiladas were really tasty where in most places they would be bland. Queso Fundido was second only to the ceviche. Definitely a keeper - we will be back.

I have heard of Los Pinos for sometime and finally decided to try it. The food was good - 3 of us - we had Fajitas for two and spinach enchiladas. When we ran out of torillas, they brought us 2 more (which was all we needed), but then they charged us a dollar for them. This is the kind of treatment I find annoying, so likely wont return. Its not the dollar - it just seems when you have a $40+ bill, you shouldnt be charged for a couple extra tortillas - especially since they didnt give us enough to begin with.

We moved out of state and we miss Los Pinos so much I'm taking the time to tell you to GO. Eat the amazing salsa. Their flour tortillas are amazing. I used to get cheese enchiladas for lunch and I have never been to a place that put in so much cheese. Sooooo gooood!!!! The service can be spotty, but who cares. The friendly manager makes up for it and the food is flipping amazing. I miss you Los pinos and your rockin breakfast tacos. And margaritas. And pretty much everything.

Finally! Mexican food! Not TexMex nonsense. Real. Amazing. Mexican. The chef is fantastic, clearly, because the food is great (spicy table salsa yay!). Mole, fajitas, queso, hand-made tortillas. Nom. Cheap breakfast tacos too! Also, I have had impeccably friendly and impressive service 4 or 5 times now; as someone picky about service, I have had zero bad experiences. Go here. Its awesome.

As close to home as it gets...great service staff and awesome salsas. I had the Cabrito and did not regret it, it was a great dish. Other people were very happy with their meals too. Another added bonus: Ambience - the restaurant has the vibe of the area, which is laidback and celebratory...its the kind of place that simply puts you in a good mood

The food is fantastic here, breakfast tacos/salsa will rock your socks. The only downfall to this place is one waiter. If you get a guy that says, "Congratulations you have me as a waiter today", ask for a new person because congratulations, youre about to get the worst service of your life.

I have been here many times and recommend this place to everybody. I have ate everything on the menu and everything is great with 1 exception the tamales they put brown sugar or cinnamon in them and theyre not very tasty. overall its a great place to eat and breakfast tacos are very good.

Great food at a good price after you get off the lake! Service is going from bad to worse! Wait staff seem to avoid you once you get your order. As I sit I need refills and a check while the waitress sits hanging out with other staff. Shame as this has been a favorite for many years.

Food is excellent, though more Tex-Mex than interior. Docked a star because service is really hit-or-miss; some of the servers arent very good at their jobs and constantly mess up orders, dont check up on you, and leave you waiting 10+ minutes for the check when youre clearly done.

The food here was excellent authentic Mexican. Dont expect TexMex. This is some of the best interior Mexican food that I have ever had. Our table was served Carne Guisada, Chicken Enchiladas and a Chimicanga. Everyone was happy. And the tortillas are terrific.

We have been here several times and really wanted to like it but the service and quality of food continues to disappoint. The food is over priced for the quality. It takes a looong time to get simple items and they are lacking in flavor.

The food was great and it wasnt even hot . I was our first time there and if the service was excellent, so would the be the rating. I had multiple waiters takin our orders so things were forgot and the food was not delivered hot
