We take the Centennial Blvd exit off of Briley Pkwy each day to take the kids to/from school. Last week I noticed this new restaurant had just opened on Centennial - called The Centennial and so took the kiddos by there today for a bite to eat. I ordered the grilled cheese and it was by far the best grilled cheese I have ever had! Both my boys (ages 7 & 11) ordered and devoured the cheese burgers. Sadly before I had the opportunity to steal a bite! We opted to stick with the hand cut potato chips instead of the French fries for $1 up charge and Im thankful we did. They were soooo good. Although, judging from the rest that we tried Im sure the french fries were divine too. Next time I hope to try a few of the other menu items that sounded just as yummy. While there 2 of the 3 owners/investors, Justin and Scott, were there and sat down to talk with us. They were very friendly and inviting. We will be frequenting this place often. It is in the "Nations" area of Sylvan Park - just on the other side of Charlotte Pike. At the corner of Centennial and 51st (beside Lavertes package store).

My husband and I just live down the street from this place in the Nations. We discovered the Centennial a few months ago and absolutely love it. We have tried almost everything on the menu and everything was delicious. They have a great happy hour and lots of televisions for weekend football. We love Justin, Scott and Sarah. They have been friendly from day one and as soon as we walk in, we have a drink in front of us. I highly recommend this place.

This is the neighborhood bar you were looking for. The owner/bartender is a total legend, and always a source of epic banter. He makes a mean old fashioned & hi-fives like your very lives depend on it. Their wings are dynamic & delicious, and if you order the cauliflower tacos wrapped in lettuce, youve got the low-carb thing sorted. Go there. Be well.

My favorite neighborhood place! The owner is fantastic at serving customers--always friendly, never forgets your order, and keeps things simple. Im so happy to see this place doing well. Food is great, great beer selection, and the patio is nice (especially because they are adding TVs!).

Finally stopped in to try out the food, and I loved it. I had the Prime Rib Sandwich, which was served on a pretzel bun with au jus, and it was outstanding. The homemade potato chips were also delicious. Looking forward to stopping in here again!
