Im only putting one star because unfortunately that is the only way I can put in a review, otherwise there would be no star.. I see that this place closes at 9:00 pm on Thursday and aparently if its 8:00 and you come in for a late dinner you get HORRIBLE service. First of all our waitress had absolutely zero people skills and acted as if we were disturbing her nightly closing duties and was not concerned with serving us like what a "4.1" star restaurant should be doing. "must be employees rating this place". I cant say the food was disgusting because there was NO FLAVOR whatsoever and the salsa tasted and looked like shrimp cocktail sauce. The portion sizes were very small as well. I was still hungry after my dinner. Finally when we receive our check I find out the waitress charged me $4 for queso that I had no clue was an up charge, especially for such a small bowl. We left feeling hungry, disappointed, and ripped off. When I tell the waitress we were unaware of the up charge she was very rude. I told her she might let her tables know ahead of time seeing as most Mexican food restaurants serve complimentary queso... Save your money. Chuys has better food and more for your money.

I wouldnt even rate it a one star but I had to give it something. To start, the tacos were stale and the salsa tastes like tomato paste. YUK! The rice was old and so were the chips. Nothing had any flavor...And then there is the service. What a joke! The supposed "manager" waited on me and could not have been more rude, mean, and insulting...Yes, INSULTING! After he overcharged and told me it was my fault and that I "should have known" I told him fine, just let me pay and leave. He said he didnt have problems until people "like you" ccame in...What the heck is that supposed to mean? From the moment he started waiting on me, he acted like it was a pain for me to even ask a question. I ended up leaving my food and telling him I would not be back. He said "Thats fine. We dont want PEOPLE LIKE YOU in here anyway". It was the single most horrible and awful food/service that I have ever encountered. BEWARE! THEY ARE WAY OVER PRICED AND YOU CAN GET BETTER AND CHEAPER FOOD RIGHT DOWN THE ROAD AT CINCO DE MAYO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Possibly the worst "Mexican" food Ive ever had. Hilariously bad. I think they actually used ZERO seasoning on the chicken. No salt even. The rice was equally bland, the beans watery and gross. I truly dont understand how people rate this place so highly. I think it must be a prank. Literally go anywhere else. They must have figured out a way to scientifically remove all flavor from their food. If you are going to die of starvation and need immediate sustenance in your body, or have lost all of your taste buds, you have found your place! Unless theres a gas station around with a year-old hot dog spinning on the rollers, because Id much rather eat that.

We went here simply because other Mexican restaurant on the area got worse reviews. Started off with the basic margaritas. They were pretty bland and tasted like they came from a prepackaged mix. Glad I got the small size... I ordered the mole poblano. Now, Im a huge fan of good mole, and this isnt it. Theres virtually no spice (in something called "poblano", no less). The chicken and the entire dish was bland and tasteless. Even the rice that came with it had no flavor. Maybe this was an off day or maybe they ran out of salt...because I really dont understand the high rating for this place. Save your money and go to Taco Bell instead.

A great example of very standard Tex-Mex food. Very standard in the way of selection, but what they do, they do very very well. There a few unique items on the menu to cater to people looking for a more diverse Tex-Mex experience. Some of these are hard to find elsewhere, like Chicken Molé; the only Tex-Mex restaurant in Nashville that I know of which serve this dish. Molé aside, youll find the usual American Mexican dishes like stuffed Poblano peppers, Fajitas, and Chimichangas which are done excellently. You cannot go wrong at Los Palmas if youre looking for standard Mexican American food!

I come here with my family often, probably once a month. Occasionally I have had slow service. But the service has never been rude or bad enough to make me want to leave. The food is always good. Not the best Mexican Ive ever had, but good food at a good price for the right amount. My kids, 7 and 9, always enjoy it and they have lots of drink options. Including a good cold bottle of beer and a frosty mug if desired. A good value place with good food.

Not a place to grab a meal within an hour. The food was good, some was a little burnt and the accuracy wasnt perfect but close enough. But given we were one of 6 tables in the whole place I expected to be able to eat within an hour. The food just took way too long to come out, the server didnt know her menu, and my sons chicken nuggets took longer than anything else to be prepared so my 5 year old was left waiting while we started eating.

The waitress we had was wonderful! The food not so great the way the chicken was prepared they left the ligament string on the meat so every bite we got tough gristle which was unpleasent. Our Nacho supreme was good our niece cleaned her plate. Bean dip ok salsa ok. The mole sauce was salty had little to no taste. I am sure they have better dishes but, this last visit For myself and my husband was not stellar.

We went for lunch on a Wednesday, they were not busy but the service was slow. I had the shrimp fajitas and it was good, the shrimp were cooked perfectly! I just wish they would have been more attentive to our needs. We didnt even get refills on our water and they never offered my granddaughter crayons and an activity sheet, Im glad she is patient and well behaved. Undecided about ever going back.

A Mexican place with a great atmosphere. They offer a few dishes off the beaten path that I havent seen other places (fans of chorizo will be highly pleased). Service is acceptable, sometimes its very good, sometimes we waited for a few things. Currently my favorite Mexican place. The rice and beans are very good here.

Worst place ever. The service is consistently TERRIBLE and the manager doesnt even speak English well enough to understand what customers are saying to him. He literally just nods and says "ah yes" no matter what you say. On top of the terrible service the food is lackluster and overpriced. DONT GO HERE

I think they have the best Mexican food in town. Its closer to traditional Mexican (created for American palates) with an inviting and open dining experience. Booths on the wall for private dining and tables in the center or edge great for events and larger parties.

it is ok but if you try to get the lunch special at 3:00 you get charged $9! why $9 when i get something that is 6 or 5? food is very quick but bland, very good if you do not have enough time to eat, and you have to wait for someone to seat you to, can be annoying
