This is my first time here. I pulled my car in and turned off my uber driving app because I hadnt noticed the open lighted sign here before and was hungry. Im sitting at an outside table. The weather is awesome, a crisp Spring evening. My server is blonde and personable. The live music is good. Looking forward to my fish and chips which should be coming up very soon. Setting my phone down now for a couple minutes to enjoy the Bunganut. The fish and chips is 3.5 out of 5 starts (I got one side of tartar initially. By the time my extra tartar sides were brought out my last piece of fish was warm - not burn my mouth hot, the way I like it). Just heard someone say "Smiles! Smiles" I pray it was related to a photograph and not a manager. My server brought up going to The Great Escape Game in Nashville. Now that Im making another friend Im noticing this place functions very well with a small crowd and live music (reminiscent of The Bluebird Cafe if The Bluebird Cafe had outdoor seating - thats why Im giving Bunganut Pig Pub & Eatery 5 stars). I bet if there were a ton of folks here, I never would have had gotten to start making another friend talking about things like food, music, and other entertaining things to do in greater Nashville, TN.

The food was ok order a medium burger with pickles and cheese only. Only got the cheese on it cooked well, had to order a side of pickles. The waitress came to the table maybe 3 or 4 times total for the hour and a half we where there. Had a group of 10. She was also very rude and unpersonable. The beer was not even cold, it was more like it had been sitting out of a fridge for about 10 to 15 mins before it was handed out. Im usually a good tipper but her service was so bad I rounded the $55.06 tab to $56 even, by the way my order was 2 bud lights 2 orange Creamsicle a byob burger a patty melt and a order of fried pickles. Then to top it after my group had walked outside about to leave the bartender, not even our waiter, ran out and asked who had the $56 tab. I responded I did and she walked up and handed me a dollar and said I forgot this as if my money wasnt worth her time. I normally would have tipped $10 to $20 dollars on a tab this expensive but the service or quality of food was not worth it. Needles to say I wasted $55 bucks since I had my $0.94 cent tip repayed to me. We will not be coming back and will be sure to recommend no one to go there. Also we went here yesterday so Sunday, 20160821

Ive been a Franklin resident for many years. This is the place I take out of towners when they come to visit. The decor is quirky without being overbearing. The staff has always been friendly and theyre long-timers. We eat there every month or two, yet the waitstaff remembers us. The food is the reason to go. Simple and common items like the "Bungaclub" and salads are good. Esoterics like their Monte Crisco are great. Note that because of the local laws, they recently became a "21 & up" establishment just so they could allow smoking.

This is one of the BEST burger and fries restaurant in Franklin Tennessee, perfect buns, delicious fresh meat with juicy tomatoes, lettuce and pickles with a savory slice of cheese topped with bacon, (at least thats what I got) The fries are a bit spiced but not too bad, they are also like pig-tails actually which is funny cause the name of the Restaurant, anyways the overall service is really pleasant. I highly suggest this place if you are visiting and need a good old fashioned burger.

Very cool place, especially for Franklin. It has a wide variety from live music and booths and tables for dining downstairs to bar games (pool, darts, foosball) and a proper bar upstairs. The bartender with a beard is great - friendly and jokes around well. All the servers Ive had on both levels have been great - in particular Soleena and Mia. Pool tables could use some work, but they are still good to play on. Overall one of my favorite hangs in Franklin.

Nice place....Food was OK, BUT ! and it is a BIG BUT! Saturday night, comes 9 Oclock ,and the waitress comes over and tries to charge us a $5 cover....!!! We had literally just finished eating and wanted a couple of more drinks, and they try charging us? Never had that ever before in the States!...Incredible!!!! Needless to say will not be back for that!

Party of 4 got seated at 7 on a Wed night inside, 10 mins later no server...went to find a server..found 2 servers...both off whom looked over at our table shrugged and pointed to the bar with the invisible bartender and said just go to him when he shows up if we wanted any help. And then we left, true story.

Id been meaning to check this place out and it was incredibly good. The burger was perfect, I had the Alpine which came with gravy-Yowza! The waitress was super friendly and you can bring your dog to the patio, which was very relaxing. The service was unusually fast and I will be returning soon.

Used to go about twice a month. Wont go back because the menu changes frequently. Crappy hamburger buns and french fries not available on weekends. Going to places like Neighborhood Bar and Grill and Brewhouse South where there is better food and sports.

Had a great meal and a great time. Went for late lunch with friends. Serves were efficient and friendly, they actually made the entire experience even better. Food was delicious as were the cocktails. Happy hour is from 11 to 6.... how great is that!!

If you want to wait for food for an hour, and be served by the weirdest and gross staff ever. This restaunt is the place for you. If there was a negative 5 stars this is how I would rate it. Probably the absolute worst place to eat in Franklin.

Interesting location but "meh" menu. This place seems historic and thats all it has going for it. Typical sandwich or fried food menu. Not handicap friendly and VERY cramped seating. Wouldnt go here to eat unless nothing else was available.

Love that they have live music. Good food. But rarely have a good service experience. One particular regular waitress is consistently rude and has turned us off of the place. Cant believe shes still working there. Too bad.

Stopped in for lunch on a whim after learning about it at the Lotz house tour. Service was quick and friendly and the food was delicious. It was a good discovery for us being new to the area. We will be back.

We had a great lunch. Very affordable and fast service. Another time there we enjoyed free pool and happy hour specials. Clean and well maintained bathrooms are a super bonus. We love The Pig!

Im biased.. the place is in walking distance and they gave me a job washing dishes at 17. But they have an amazing burger and the steak biscuits will melt your face off.
