Ill start by saying I waited tables for 10 years, I understand what a difficult job it can be to work in a restaurant. But this place has a serious management problem that was evident from the moment we stepped inside. We ended up at The Pub because Biscuit Love had an hour wait for brunch. The Gods decide to punish us for not having patience. My husband frequents The Pub in Dayton, OH when he is there for work and loves it, so it seemed like a great plan B. When we put our name on the wait list we were told approximately 20 minutes but upon entering the restaurant to grab a beer while we waited I couldnt understand why there was a wait at all , the restaurant was practically empty. We sat at the bar for 18 minutes without service until I finally went to the other side and saw the bartender clearly in the weeds trying to serve the bar patrons and keep servers drinks full. She was very flustered and stated that she was doing the best she could, well she was the only one. Meanwhile, as I look around the restaurant I could see the waitstaff casually meandering around the restaurant with empty hands, taking their time. Zero sense of urgency in the staff with the exception of the bartender. Eventually at 35 minutes we were seated. The timing of the meal was excruciatingly long, including our second round of drinks being forgotten, food delivered with no silverware, lost server when we wanted a check. While we endured our meal we watched as two tables in our vicinity left because they could not get service. It was ridiculous. First rule for front of the house, every table is your table. If you deliver food to someones table and they need drinks and silver - get it! If your feet are moving, you need to be bringing dirty dishes to the back or hot food and drinks to the front. Management never appeared on the floor which is a disgrace because just poking your head out and looking at the disgusted looks on your customers faces could have told you that things werent going well. Get it together because all the beer and girls in tiny kilts arent going to keep you open at this rate.

I had a bad experience the first time I went. I thought I might give it a second chance. It was even worse this time. I walked in and stood at the host/hostess stand. Stood there for a few minutes before an employee came up to me and said it was open seating and I could just go sit wherever I wanted. It was not a busy night at all. So, I then go sit down in a section with a few people in it. I was by myself and I figured I should sit somewhere that already had people in it, so as to be better noticed by the wait staff. I sat down at the least dirty table I could find. I waited for at least 15 minutes and no one came to my table to wait on me. Several times servers even made eye contact with me and were waiting on other tables in that section. Even with the eye contact from the servers, they completely ignored me. Every single one just kept walking by. Aside from the one employee that I met at the door, no one that was working that night ever even spoke to me. So, I just got up and left. I cant even comment on the service, because I didnt receive any. I believe in giving places a chance, but with this place, Im done. I will never go back after 2 terrible experiences. There are plenty of other places in Nashville that have outstanding service and food and people that will actually wait on me. The "Pub" may not care, but they just lost one more customer. Permanently.

I would love to talk about the food, or the service, but I received neither of those. The only interaction with the service staff was being seated, which was timely despite a busy Saturday night. My party of 4 was seated at a table that appeared to not have been cleaned, and it looked like someone had dumped out a drink under our table. The were chunks of lemon and ice on the ground below our seats, so we couldnt put anything on the ground (wifes purse, etc). Then we began to wait. And wait. We eventually waited long enough so I started a clock (Ive never done this before). We waited long enough to see people be seated at table around us, have drink orders taken, and be served. We were completely ignored this whole time, not even water. Finally we decided to try another restaurant. We went to Flyte just down the way and had exceptional service and friendly staff. Once again, please keep in mind that I am not reviewing The Pubs food at all, we didnt experience any of it but it looked great and creative. Had all the standard pub fare.

Very nice decor! The food was good. I ordered the "Bangers and Mash". Great presentation. Besides the usual sausages and mashed potatoes, there was a really fresh side salad on the plate along with green peas and carrots, which was a more healthy and tasty dish than I anticipated as far a "pub" food. I was pleased with the portions as well. The beer selection was out of this world, although I usually stick with Michelob Ultra. Next time I will try something new. The fact that they DID have Mich as a choice was very nice for someone who likes to keep things "light". I made up for it with dessert though. They have one of THE best Bread Puddings that I have ever tasted, including my own recipe. The sauce/glaze was spiked with bourbon and was not overly sweet! The service was good. I love the kilts! (Yes, the guys behind the bar wear them too.) The live entertainment was, well, entertaining. All in all this was a nice experience and we will definitely be back there.

We arrived and the outside seating was filled. We were subsequently sat in a booth next to the bar. To be fair, I did not want anything to do with a "English Pub" while in Nashville. We sat down and were greeted and had an overly attentive suggested server that, I think is from Minnesota. She gave insight as to the extensive beer and food menu. She understood the need to have appetizers come ASAP, as people in the group were starving. Appetizers came out (Fried pickles and wedge salad), which was really good. The main course meal was amazing as different things were ordered. Had some sort of pretzel prime rib and a chicken type pasta. Only thing I wished was the pasta had more sauce on it as it was a little dry. Flavor was amazing on all the food that came out. I can say, for not wanting to eat at the Pub, I was utterly impressed by the food and service that were provided and given. If I was around, I would definitely go back there without a doubt!

This review is strictly based off customer service because I did not purchase anything while at this location. The place is nicely decorated and has a large, nice central bar. There is an awesome patio and plenty of room for a group of friends. I walked in behind a group of 7 waiting to be seated and it took about 10 minutes for the hostess to return and take them to their table. Once she returned, she looked at me and as I started to ask a question, she turned to the group of 2 behind me and asked if they needed a table for 2. She took them to their table and returned to hostess stand and didnt even look at me. I approached her and asked if my friends had arrived yet giving a quick description of them and she told me that I could look around for them if I wanted because she needed to help set a table. I left and my friends and I had a great time at another bar.
