Really the only thing that keeps Beacon Light from getting a 5 star from me is that often the service there can be pretty bad. The food is good if a bit expensive for what you get, but great for the occasional visit. Be warned though that the place can get EXTREMELY crowded some days so plan your visits to slower times or be prepared to wait a while.

Nice country environment. Biscuits are delicious as a pre-breakfast snack, but not so much with the biscuits and gravy. No meat gravy here. About $30 for two adults and one child to eat breakfast.

Sat us next to a dirty table and we were the only ones there. Wanted $6 for a fried bologna sandwich from the lunch menu which was recited to us by the waitress. We left to look for another place.
