Very good Thai place, comparable to Monsoon down the street. The quality of the food is great, on par with Monsoon if not marginally better. The prices are slightly higher than other restaurants in the area, except for the daily specials which are much cheaper. Value is good, since you get a spring roll and soup in addition to the main course of your choice. The variety isnt quite as good as Monsoon, but there are enough dishes to choose from. Those on the wait staff are prompt and polite. I was seated quickly, my drink was brought out almost immediately, and the initial course came soon after. The waiter was super nice and kept my needs fulfilled. The decor is much more upscale than Monsoon. Low lights, opulent wall decorations of obvious Asian influence, plating and utensils are much more elegant that most of the restaurants downtown. Overall, I really enjoyed my visit. Both Lime Leaf and Monsoon are fantastic restaurants, with my decision ultimately falling to which type of dining experience I am in the mood for. If you prefer a fast meal with few frills, go to Monsoon. If youd rather have a quiet, slow-paced meal with a bit more splendor, go to Lime Leaf.

Overall...I would avoid this place as I was underwhelmed (I am a foodie). Service was fast & cheap with my lunch coming in under $10 and me out the door in under 30 minutes. Complimentary soup (shrimp I think) is bland while the spring-roll is good...the dipping sauce could use more acidity or less sweetness. My bowl of complimentary soup was hastily filled as it was sitting in a saucer filled with soup. I found this out when trying to determine what dripped onto the pants of my brand new suit. The panang shrimp was flavorful but, also, poorly prepared. The bell pepper slices were all about 4-5 inches long and had to be cut down to fit the over-sized spoon they brought me. I was forced to use a spoon as the rice was made American style (dry) and could not be eaten with chopsticks. Honestly, if you dont know how to make rice you shouldnt work in a Thai restaurant. Between the spilled soup, poor preparation, lousy rice, and the bland starter soup...I would avoid this place unless you are in a bind.

There is no way not to love this food if you like Thai. Located in old building in downtown Spartanburg, S.C. that has been renovated. The wait staff is excellent ,the food unmatched and the value is outstanding especially at lunch. Ive eaten her more than a dozen times. I never miss eating here when Im in this area. Do not go over the two pepper hot unless YOU DA MAN three peppers is very spicy. I always have at least 2 sometime 3 pepper hot but no matter the freshness and flavor are not lost with the spice. krunchy spring rolls are a must. Ask your wait person to bring the tray of condiments but be carefull. I never miss a chance to eat here.

Great Service and Atmosphere. I enjoy eating here for lunch or dinner. Staff is always friendly and the chiefs go above and beyond to accommodate the needs of their customers. I have made a few request for special sauces and they prepared for me without charging. Therefore, I will continue to be loyal by dinning regular. We used to dine at the one in Hendersonville, NC, but since we have moved to South Carolina, this has been the magic spot! I generally eat at Lime Leaf 2-3 times a week.

I am vegetarian and told them to make sure that my food should not contain any meat, but still they managed to put fish and oyster oil in the dish. The food smelled bad. Sorry to say but there is another Chinese/Thai place down the street that has better food. My request to the restaurant owner is to let the staff know that fish and oyster oil is not a vegetarian item. For example, Fish has eyes and it moves therefore fish oil is not a vegetable.

Great spot for lunch or dinner and they are open 7 days a week though they dont do lunch on the weekends. I like coming for lunch during the week as the prices are cheaper and you get a free bowl of soup and a crispy spring roll as an appetizer. Im a big fan of the curries, usually red or pa nang, I like the dumplings as an appetizer, and the fried bananas or fried cheesecake for dessert. Easily my favorite restaurant in Spartanburg.

My husband and I went to Lime Leaf on a Saturday and it was pretty crowded but we didnt have to wait long. The staff were polite and answered our questions regarding the menu. I had the walnut shrimp and he had sweet and sour chicken. Both were delicious and the presentation was great. Would absolutely go again!! Im under my sons name so his pic will show and he wanted me to be sure to say that lol.

My husband usually gets different things and having tried his, cant say I can ever find anything wrong. Its all great and the atmosphere is so relaxing. Always excellent service from the wait staff too. Highly recommend.

I HATE this resturant! The staff was rude, my meal was prepaired incorrectly and when I explained to my waiter it was incorrect he stated thats the way I ordered it and refused to correct it. I have been to many, many, ,any Thai resturants and have never before had a experience this bad.

We have been eating here for years. The food is delicious. Calamari is the best around. Service and atmosphere are tops. Soft music allows you to actually converse with your dinner partner! And the staff bends over backwards to accommodate!

Rude. Ive been coming frequently for over a year and the waitress was so lousy and so rude. She also decided to self tip 30% on our table of 2. Never going back. Yellow curry is pretty tasty.

Had a great lunch of Lime Leaf. Perfectly cooked vegetables and just the right portion size. The rice and chicken soup prior to the meal was good as well.
