Were renting a beach house at Pawleys with my husbands family and decided to eat here for his birthday dinner. The restaurant is a little different than your typical, but it was very good overall. We had six people plus our one year old toddler. Every person loved their food-and we had people order Thai, Hibachi, and sushi. Our waiter, Kyle, was also phenomenal. Our toddler was acting up, and he offered to bring her a small plate of rice to eat, which we werent charged for. I made a comment about how my soup was different than I imagined, and he immediately offered to exchange it for something else (I explained that it was still delicious and I didnt want anything else). We did not tell him it was my husbands birthday, but he overheard and brought him a delicious Thai desert for free. Seriously, if you eat here, ask for Kyle. He gave us the best service Ive had at any restaurant in a while.

I must admit we went with friends to your restaurant with much anticipation but left extremely dissapointed. Our friend ordered Sushi without roe and got it with roe so she sent it back. I ordered Filet off of the Hibachi and was served something but it WAS NOT FILET (Fat and Gristle are not in any filet I have ever seen). I ordered a GIN MARTINI and received a Vodka Martini. Service was very slow even though there were only 4 tables of guests. The Manager brought us a free desert to make up for the steak error but THEY STILL CHARGED ME FOR A FILET!!! This is not acceptable for a Grand Strand Restaurant. I would like to think it was isolated errors but so many and so little done to rectify the problem leaves me with a very bad taste in my mouth. I will spread the word.

In and out at around 80 minutes. Service seemed slow but in my opinion if youre going out to eat, its a 90 minute endeavor anyway. Came with the parents, I got the red curry thai hot which I order because most places undercut the heat but this place was spicy enough to deter me from eating the whole thing. Portions were big so everyone took home leftovers. We spent around $40-50 only on food but are getting two meals each out of it so I say it was worth it.

Best experience was the bar tender. He made up some awesome unusual drinks with ginger. We sat and watched our roll for 10 mins on counter then was served to us. We took food Togo and let me tell you it was the most bland food I have ever had. Waitress was criticizing other patrons and I will never return as we were in the area looking for our new house. Please avoid this place worst $100 I have ever spent!

I brought my husband here for his birthday dinner. It was our first and undoubtedly only visit. The food lacked asain flavors, I asked for no bell peppers and was brought food with bell peppers. I could not eat the meal. I wanted the waiter to offer another plate cooked properly, he did not. He went and told the chef who shrugged her shouldlers. Very unprofessional staff and overall terrible experience.

Very good! Went went for lunch - I had red curry tofu (4 heat ) & my wife had peanut sauce chicken ( 3 heat ). 3 was mildish & 4 had a pleasant kick. The waiter was attentive. My wife had questions about the menu & he described each dish throughly. We are @ Pawleys for our anniversary & this was a wonderful addition to the trip. We will definitely be return customers!

The food here is disgusting. We order JUMBO SHRIMP and they brought us over cooked frozen tiny salty shrimps with awful tasting fried rice with frozen vegetables. The check with tip and everything was $60!!!! Im sure we would have had a better meal in Mc Donalds!!!! Whoever is writing positive reviews for this restaurant must be friends with the owner. DONT EAT HERE!!!!

I had the Daging Rendang and truely enjoyed it. My husband had the fresh ginger. This was the 2nd time we had eaten here and we will definately eat here again. The waiter was informative and our food was served quickly and well. The presentation was well done.

I was so sad to see Emi be replaced! But, I have eaten here twice: its decent, but I would rather drive up to Myrtle Beach or down to Charleston for really good Asian cuisine.

Best Sushi in Pawleys Island. Small restaurant and service can be a bit slow. The Thai curry food is always good!
