FOOD IS VERY GOOD. CUSTOMER SERVICE COULD BE IMPROVED. Found Red Bowl a few months ago when moving back to the area, just as I learned Im gluten intolerant, and as its one of the few places that will cater to this need. Well, partly anyways, as I now explain. I usually get my meal to go, and whenever they package it, it also includes soy sauce in it. Ive nicely mentioned before that they dont have to include it, as Im ordering from their gluten free menu, though they still do it. Now I get that this is just standard procedure, as the majority of folks may be okay with soy sauce, but its still a lack of attention to detail. The last time I ordered, I told her I was gluten intolerant, and implied soy sauce (aka, gluten) didnt need to be included with gluten free orders, and that I hated for them to waste it, and to please remove it. She agreed. Well, imagine my surprise when later opening my takeout order that there were SIX PACKS OF SOY SAUCE! ... SERIOUSLY?!?! That is most definitely not gluten free, and is insulting. Additionally, another time I ordered a GF item there apparently was cross contamination, as I got sick less than two hours later. At first thinking it was coincidence, I later confirmed it when eating leftovers a couple days later as those same symptoms came over me shortly afterwards. This is a problem from the top down, as management apparently doesnt care that much about it. Wait staff have generally been nice and helpful, even if a couple of them have been less attentive on this matter. When I explained it to the manager the other day, showing the six packs of soy sauce put in my previous takeout, he just blithely nodded, and that was it. No real apology or attempt to say thank you for being a customer (and Ive eaten there a lot), such as offering a complimentary meal or menu item. When I worked in this industry, we ALWAYS were encouraged to build or repair the bridge with our customers by offering a tangible expression of thanks for continued patronage. And having a gluten free menu as they do should mean properly training your staff in the preparation of the food (separate from wheat items) and that staff know better not to inadvertently offer wheat-containing items with a gluten-free meal. For some customers, this is merely a preference to help keep weight down. For others of us, its a serious health issue and cutting corners is not an option. Okay, rant over.

I orded the Red Bowl Stir Fry with shrimp and lo mein noodles to go 4/28/15. When I got home and started to eat my shrimp, I felt something strange in my mouth, low and behold I pull out a tangle of black hair. I told myself it was mine and to calm down, but as i proceded to eat my lo mein noodles I pulled out more hair. I put a lighter to the hair and it melted, that tells me it is synthetic hair and not human. I called and spoke to someone and they offered to make me another one. Not Likely. I can understand a strand of hair, but a tangle of 3 or 4? that lets me know someone is brushing their hair, its getting on their shirt and they arent checking their shoulders before they go back into the kithchen. I have eaten at red bowl MANY times and Ive never had an experience quite like this. Needles to say I will not be back.

This was the worst dinning experience Ive ever had. My best friend and I went in for sushi and the food was absolutely disgusting. I dont think the sushi chef had ever actually eaten sushi and if they had it mustve been exactly what they served us today. I took one bite of a roll and was ready to spit it out. The manager didnt care to ask us why we didnt like the food just if we wanted something else in its place. I love sushi and eat it at least once a week. The Red Bowl in Spartanburg South Carolina is phenomenal, so I thought as a chain it would be a decent dinner. I was extremely disappointed. This experience ruined the rest of our evening. Bad food is a horrible mood killer. When coupled with bad service its a moment you will not forget and not in a good way.

I love sushi and has been a favorite of mine for years so i know when something is not right. The sushi tastes pretty decent the service is amazing here, but anytime Ive ordered a traditional roll it is made incredibly tiny. My friends made fun of how small the sushi was when our orders were given to us. Not traditional size its a rip off to order more or someone is not correctly making it. Ive given it several chances because it tastes decent, it does not make up for the sizing of the sushi it is way off compared to what it should actually be. Will not be coming back again.

First time at a radiant like this. Usually eat Asian foods of of a buffet. Usually get Egg Drop Soup but tried the Hot and Sour Soup. Wasnt that bad but Ill try another next time. Dragon and Phoenix surprised me. Loved the chicken but wasnt that crazy about the shrimp side. The sauce just wasnt anything I cared for. Tried all new dishes so not displeased at all. Will certainly go back and see what else I can try.

The sake and edamame were great, but you cant mess up those things. The sushi was the worst thing I ever tasted. It was small and dry. The miso soup was awful. The prices are to much for the small amount you receive. I sit at the sushi bar and you could see and hear servers in the back. They were talking loudly you can see them eating and drinking. One of them burped and it was gross. I will never eat there again.

I ordered the vegetarian pad thai, red curries and green curries for our group of 5. The curries were thinner than dishwater and had no flavor. The spring rolls were clearly undercooked and the greens used in them were staler than that moon. To top it off they seemed extremely unhappy when we came to pickup the order. The only good thing was that they were timely with preparing the order.

So far this is one of my favorite restaurant, and my personal favorite dish is Their fried rice with huge shrimp. They are so generous when it comes to their fried rice and other dishes, but somehow their sushi is kind a small and the service is kind a slow. Other than that the food is great i will definitely go back in these place with my husband.

I placed an order to go on a Friday night, I got 3 orders of Chicken Pad Thai and Crab Rangoon. It was the worst Thai food I have ever had in my life, and my family agreed. The pad Thai was inedible and the crab Rangoon wasnt bad, but the pad Thai being so bad outweighed the Rangoon being decent. I would not recommend this to anyone. Waste of $45!

Today I bought a to go order of shrimp and fried rice from kids meal for my daughter. They packed hot fried shrimp directly to the packing container (plastic / foam) which stick to the shrimp and made holes in the box. Very very bad.. we throwed the food to trash can as I dont want my daughter to eat melted plastic...
