This was the best restaurant experience Ive ever had. The food was so beyond amazing, that words can not describe it. The Mozzarella in Carrozza was life changing. Ive very picky about marinara, but this was just unbelievable. The Fettuccini was outstanding. The sauce so was rich and creamy, no where else in the area could even begin to compare to Gios. Add the fresh cracked pepper and even the pickiest eaters will be licking their plates. The balsamic vinaigrette dressing was the best Ive ever had, and mixed with oil to dip the bread in was a delicious twist that was unexpected but very welcomed to our table. My only complaint was that my stomach wasnt big enough to fit all the amazing food. The staff was super friendly, and on top of things. The atmosphere was perfect for our group, and the outdoor area was perfect for the children and adults to get a few moments of fresh air without disturbing the other guests.

Were Italian from NY, now residents of Murrells Inlet for 2 years. Three of us went to dinner on New Years Eve last night, which could be a challenge for most restaurants. What a way to end the year!!! WOW!! Everything was absolutely dee-licious!!! We shared P.E.I. Mussels in spicy sauce and Caprese salad. After dipping the bread in the spicy sauce we were tempted to drink the remainder from the bowl! Rack of lamb, perfectly cooked; lasagna, almost like Moms (a little prejudice here) and Spaghetti Di Tornola , great seafood cooked perfect in marinara sauce. No room for desert. Service was great (after a little confusion when we got there and had a wait for our server). This was not our first time at Gios and will NOT be our last. Have not had the pizza yet and look forward to trying as much as we can from the menu and bar!!! Grazie and Happy New Year!!!

I went to Gios last August with my sister-in-law. We decided to check it out because it had been recommended to us by some fellow tourist we met at our hotel. I had just gotten back from Italy and I am from Pittsburgh and New York so I was sceptical of how good I was told the food was at Gios. I was completely blown away! This is hands down the best italian food I have ever had! The ingredients were so fresh. The olive oil tasted just like it did in Italy! The wine was amazing and everything we ate was perfect. The waitress was truly wonderful and prices were extremely reasonable. I have been thinking about Gios since I left Pawleys Island. I am going back to the shore in two weeks. Even though I will be staying in Myrtle Beach, I plan to make a trip down to Gios. This is worth the trip alone. Thank you to Gios for an unforgettable meal.

I had the Broccolini & Pancetta, and it was perfecto. I have never had such an amazing meal. The broccolini was tender and cooked perfectly. The pancetta was cripsy, and was extremely delicious with the sautéed garlic over the pasta. The salad before hand was superb, the lettuce nice and crisp, the balsamic dressing was the best Ive ever had. The bread was amazing, fresh and fluffy. The olive oil/balsamic drizzle served with it was a tasty touch that I pleasantly enjoyed. The service was amazing, the restaurant itself was beautiful. I havent had such an amazing experience in a long time, and I will definitely be back for more. Thank you Gios and Staff.

I am born and bread in the New York area which is known for its Italian food. This place could compete with any New York trattoria. We had two delicious appetizers, the cheese and prosciutto plate (pictured) and the meatball appetizer with polenta and parmigiano. The prosciutto app had a fantastic fig jelly which worked perfectly with the fresh bread and cheese. The pizzas were very good considering the area is not known for Italian. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was great. We ate at the bar and got amazing service. The place is clean and the decor is very pleasant. Next time in pawleys we will be back.

Had a reservation and arrived little early. Martini served half full. Had a 1 year old and 4 year old. Order early for little one and pizza came out fine, good taste as recommended. 45-60 mins later no entrees. Had to go to hostess and request to cancel or have boxed to go. No desire to stay after this long. Entrees served anyway and apologies for wait but "busy". Reservation process should have avoided this. Given the local discount for service ( without requesting one) and were already locals. Cant comment on food.

The food was absolutely wonderful, from preparation to presentation, very pleasing. We especially enjoyed the calamari, Pesca del mare, mamas lasagna .... The food was fresh, properly prepared and a great value for the price. We highly recommend it. Everyone at Gios was very friendly and welcoming. Me and my family cant wait to go back. Thank you !!

And absolutely wonderful experience , The bread is fantastic the Bolognese sauce is meaty and cheesy and exactly how I expected it to be, My wife at the classic style Italian pasta with garlic and absolutely loves it. Good bartender, knows her drinks you would definitely be back for more great food in the future

We shared the Snapper and the roasted veggies. Perfect. I would have rated a 10 if possible. Great fine dining. Good prices.

Three of us had dinner there last night. Food was good, not exceptional, and well presented, but the cocktails (gin and vodka martinis and scotch on the rocks) were small and all tasted watered down (and werent cheap). Stick to the draft beer or wine!

Delicious! Ive been here twice. Really cool bar up front. Great service and awesome atmosphere. The food is amazing. However, I would have loved outdoor seating to enjoy their porch and gardens! Reservations recommended.

Gios is my favorite restaurant on the grand strand. Every meal Ive had there has been fantastic. Fresh fish, delicious pizza, great service and nice atmosphere. I highly recommend Gios!
