Stopped by this location while shopping on vacation. My husband was so excited because the menu sounds awesome. After waiting about 10 minutes at a table (restaurant was not busy) a server came to bring menus and take our drink orders. She soon came back to get our food orders just as 3 other parties were walking in. After she took our order, she saw the people waiting to be seated and rudely said under her breath, "ugh, we close so soon!" Mind you, we got there around 7:15, it was 7:27 at this time. I was puzzled because we were pretty sure that they didnt close at 7:30 so I checked the entrance for their hours, they close at 8. Being a former server while in college it can be frustrating having tables come in right before close but thats 10-15 minutes before close, not more than half an hour. Especially being in a vacation destination at a shopping mall that is open until 10 or later, its to be expected that you would get tables until close. I personally would have been happy for the tips. By now, she has taken our food order to the kitchen and has started to wait on the other tables (about 7 total between 2 servers) but still no drinks. Another ten minutes pass and she brings our food to us. My salad was pre-made from the fridge so minimal effort there (I expected that, no big deal) but my husbands chili dogs were horrible. The cook slopped the chili between the two hot dogs where most of it was sitting in the middle of the basket. Still no drinks. This is now the third time our server came to or table and no drinks. How do you get food before drinks? A water and and dr. Pepper. Seems pretty simple. She says she will be right back with them. As we are waiting we get more and more frustrated with the whole experience. My husband says he doesnt want to eat the chili dogs because they should have never been served in that condition but I was going to go ahead and eat my salad. Our server returns over 5 minutes later to see if we have a problem with our food but still no drinks!!! So we paid for the salad, I took it to go, never got a water and we decided to not go back to this location. This could be such a great restaurant because the menu looks awesome but the staff is waaaaaaay too concerned with closing with little concern for customers. As a former server this type of service would never have been tolerated by the employers I worked for. Somethings gotta give or this restaurant will shut down. Ive read previous reviews to see if we happened to stop by on a bad day because I always like to give people the benefit of the doubt but it seems like this is a typical experience that customers have or worse. This place needs an intervention.

First of all, it took longer than 30 minutes for a waiter to even come to our table and take our orders! (Its also to be noted that about 10 minutes after we got to the location, a waitress came by the table and gave us way too many menus, like they didnt take the time to count how many people were at the table. We were already ready to order, since there were leftover menus from the last table) Another 10 minutes for drinks, and they didnt give us any straws until we were half finished with the drinks! No lids on the cups, either. Afterwards, another hour until our food came. They already had our food too, but they forgot about us. I had ordered gravy fries, and I received no gravy. Upon complaining, I got no gravy. If they were out I understand, but still! Also, when walking to the bathroom, which was pretty nasty btw, I noticed a table that hadnt been cleaned SINCE WE GOT HERE (about two hours ago, my goodness). At least when they finally clean the tables they wipe them. Absolutely terrible customer service and I really wish I had gone somewhere else. Dont waste your temper, time, or money here.

We arrived an hour and a half before they closed but the restaurant appeared closed as they already had all of the chairs up, but we decided to check for sure. As we entered the waitress greeted us promptly. Our waitress was great despite the short comings of this location. The food was good, but unfortunately my wife had ordered a burger with mushrooms and Swiss. The cooks waited until my burger was almost done cooking to tell the waitress that they were out of mushrooms. Our waitress came and apologized but frankly it wasnt her fault that the cooks waited so long to inform her. Overall, this could be a great location with some training and professionalism.

We were on a family shopping trip. Stopped in to hwy 55. Placed an order. Waited almost 30 minutes. We witness threel other customers get their food before us. Finally they came with our food. Fries an burgers we cold. Onion rings look like slop. They didnt even look like onion rings. They must have just dipped them in the grease an back out. We were hurt an disappointed. We eat The hwy 55 all the time in NC. Never had terrible food like this before. Never had to wait almost 30 minutes for any orde. We asked for a manager but didnt speak to one. I told the waiter we dont want that food. I never want to go back to that store again. We just left.

The place is OK but the owner Bob (I believe) makes the experience worse. He smokes in the building, he yells at his employees and he doesnt know how to talk to anyone. Everyone theee need to quit because he doe not deserve to have any of the workers there because he talks down to them as if they are animals. The day I was there I over heard him talking about one of his employees to a guest in a negative way and how he was going to fire her. He is very unprofessional and that make me not want to eat there again. I will not recommend this place to anyone, not because of the staff but because of the owner.

The food is generally good here but the service staff needs some direction. Last time we were in the server waited our table with a very young baby in her arms which was very inappropriate in an eating establishment. Babies are not necessarily the most sanitary creatures, I know as we have had two of them. Dont bring my food with a small baby in one arm and a Hamburger Steak in the other! I am probably done with this place.

Went down to Tanger on a Saturday night to do some Valentines shopping. Seen where website AND door said open til 9....We went in at 8:35 to place a to go order....Was told because they werent all that busy they have already cleaned and closed the grill......Ummmm......Then change your website and door hours to the closed time of "whenever were not that busy"...Terrible business decision.

First off, look how nasty the windows and doors are. That is the first warning sign. Secondly the past two times Ive eaten there I have gotten sick as a dog for the next 24 hours. How do you make a person sick with fries? I put about two months between visits and dont plan on doing it again. So sad when they are the only restaurant at Tanger Outlets.
