7/20/15 Ate here on our way back from Florida to Pennsylvania. I have never left a restaurant review before but I just HAD to for this place. This was the worst Golden Corral I have ever been in...maybe the worst restaurant I have ever ate at!! The food all over the floor was appalling not just a little....A LOT!! The girls we were traveling with actually got food on the hem of their long skirts just walking back from the food bar. Tables around us were dirty and had food on them, some were not wiped down the whole time we were there. Seats were dirty. Went to the bathroom and the floor was greasy/tacky, urinals were dirty, paper on the floor. The sign on the bathroom door said that if it didnt meet expectations to let the management know, HOWEVER, if they are not clued in to the pathetic appearance of their sitting area...who cares about the bathrooms. I almost got sick just thinking about what their kitchen must look like......what the customer DOESNT see. I hope some senior management gets clued to this....IT WAS PATHETIC!!! If I owned that place I would be ashamed!!!

This dive is just discussing! Just dropped 30 dollars there wont be back as long as I remember how this visit was. What are they thinking. Keep your restaurant cleaner and please use fresher tasting food. The steak was laid out on the grill and drying out bad idea. Rice meals was not cook,who likes hard rice? Cake was pretty but who wants dry cake even if it was pretty. They said they had Ribs are you kidding me, you cut them up so much they look like backbone, plus they were tough as you could not eat them and I have teeth people without teeth dont have a chance. Why I gave this place a bad review is because I know they can do better and I have seen better from them. GOLDEN CORRAL. STOP RESTING ON YOUR LAURALS AND PLEASE DO BETTER I KNOW YOU CAN! If I could give this place a zero... I would! Mary I totally agree with you! The place was so dirty it was not funny! Plus it was so hot you literally had sweat pouring down your face! The food was either uncooked or overcooked. When I approached the manager he was a pumpis A-Whole! He could care less and his action made sure I understood that he didnt care! I really wish someone would put him in his place! And the employees having to work with only 2 out of the 4 air conditionier working! Even though the manager said they were all working the employees said different and come on as soon as you walk in you can tell! I am going to cooperate and I will get back the 50 I dropped in there! Stay away and seriously go some where else! it is so NOT WORTH THE MONEY ANYMORE!

This was the worst place I have eaten in florence. We paid $50 for dry crusted food with no selection. The place looked filthy and they were cleaning with filthy rags the were wringing black water out. And to think we were eating off plate and table they used that rag with. I was absolutely disgusted and disappointed. And I will make sure no one I know will ever eat here again. My kids eat literally everything and they even said it was nasty and didnt eat. The dessert was even crusted over, hard or dry. I am so sry to be so harsh but I had to be truthful and on top of it all wait staff didnt even come to us but once just greet us with her name.

This Golden Corral offers the newest restaurant configuration where there are different sections of the buffet dedicated to different sorts of cuisine. Food was kept well-stocked; all was hot and fresh. Our server paid close attention to us without being obnoxious. No, its not gourmet. Its a lot of food choices, all ready now. Just what I needed to feed a van full of hungry kids in the midst of an unexpected snow storm along I-95.

Golden Corral, Florence, SC is the worst and nastiest restaurant I have ever experienced in my lifetime. First, I had to look for a half-way clean table! Secondly, the silverware and dinner plates looked like they were merely licked. The salad bar looked as though some lost their dinner within several serving bowls. There is no excuse for this restaurant chain to allow such. Where was the management?

Worst freaking buffet ever. No, macaroni, no mash potatoes, etc. What food they do have is cold. When they finally did start stocking some of the food, they used the dirty utensils to put back into the fresh food. Highly disappointed. I never write reviews, but definitely couldnt let this slide. No wonder Golden Corral Buffets are continually going out of business!

Stopped on way home to Md from Florida food was dry, overcooked, or hours old. The manager said give me a minute to make it right. I paid for 8 ppl. $80. The employees even said they dont eat nothing but salad bar. I was not happy with them putting other good food out I got my money back. It was hot in there n the restrooms were filthy. NEVER EAT HERE!

Employees were friendly and food was what I expected... However the price was not. A 50 dollar tab was a bit of a surprise for two adults and a child... Could have gone to the red lobster across the street for that much. The little one did really enjoy the chocolate fountain though. I guess just come hungry to get your moneys worth!

Decided to give GC one more try...so disappointed! Hard pancakes, raw bacon, runny eggs and the lumpiest grits Ive ever seen. Wait staff is friendly enough but the food is not very good nor is it very hot. A friendly staff is not enough to get me to come back . (Its also freezing outside and the damn a/c is on.)

Simply put...bad. They did not have an allergy catalog on hand so I could not and did not eat anything there. It was a bad experience all together and I had to leave hungrier than when I came in. Note EVERY other Golden Corral has an allergy catalog on hand for when people need it.

Horrible. Food was cold. Im allergic to shrimp. Went to get steak on sun and they had it cooking on thE same grill as The shrimp. I told them I was allergic to shrimp. The cook then offered me mouth to mouth resusication. Very unprofessional. I left and requested a refund.

This place was horrible. I wouldnt recommend it to the homeless. It was the most disgusting food establishment Ive ever been in. When the conditions were brought up to the manager he was rude and acted like there wasnt a problem.

Sometimes food is great...this time not so much...we usually make this a stop on our way to Florida but may think twice next time. Much of food was dry from sitting out and all was very salty...hopefully just a bad night

Food was not very good first time I went. Gave it a second chance and when I was taken to my table there was food on it and under it. They did not take time to clean it. Walked out and have not gone back. Disgusting.
