BEST Ribs I have ever put in my mouth. So good I am coming from Greensboro, NC headed to Greenville, SC and I plan to stop by to pick up a couple of racks of ribs. All the food is great the BBQ pulled Pork, Greens beans, baked beans, etc. I have been a long time fan. The owners are very polite. I started dining when Bluegrass BBQ when it was located in Greer, SC and I was very disappointed when they closed temporarily. My girls and I have watched for the reopening for over a year!!! Glad to have you back. I will drive hours just to reunite with the taste.

Best BBQ in SC! We were in this quaint little historic town on business and stopped in at this place. Clean, basic diner atmosphere but the food was Great! Those that know me know I rarely give top reviews but the BBQ and sides were so good I have to give this place a top standing. My wife and I cleaned our plates and almost went back through the line again! If youre traveling along I-85 it would be worth your while to take the Cowpens exit and check this place out.

Friendly staff, but the food was such a disappointment! The mac and cheese we ordered tasted like it had been freezer burnt, and they just added water to it, heated it up and served it to us. The actual BBQ was just okay, nothing remarkable to write home about. The sauce selection was very limited. And last but not least, the dining area was hot and uncomfortable, and had several flies buzzing around. Not a very good experience and we will not be back.

Very welcoming and very nice staff. Nice little family owned atmosphere. Very clean!!! I got to try a little bit of everything on the menu. The ribs & their sauces were amazing! The ribs just fell right off the bone and the bbq pork was great too! For sides, I had their Mac n cheese & the sweet potato crunch. Both excellent. All of it was good southern home cooking! I walked out of there about to pop from all the food I ate. I would definitely go back!

My sister and I ate at the Bluegrass for the first time today. We are sorry we hadnt done it sooner. Best BBQ Pork and ribs we have ever had. Sauces are to die for. You have to try their original Smoked Green Beans. They also had homemade banana pudding and pecan pie. Sadly we didnt get the chance to try the desserts because their platters are huge. Great service! Great food! Great family friendly environment.

This place was a-maz-ing! The food alone is worth the 5-star review, but the owner and staff put this place far over the edge. We were greeted with smiles, energetic conversation and a very patient staff (we took forever to order and were cranky after a long day of outlet shopping). The owner loves what he does and it shows. I would go out of my way to eat here again!

Pulled pork was good. I enjoyed the wood smoke flavor, the meat was a little dry but nothing a little sauce cant cure. Pretty good portions for the price. Thought they had hand cut fries but they were just frozen. Other sides and sauces were acceptable. Nice local dining option for Cowpens. I would recommend over any chain restaurants in the area.

Just another sad attempt at good ol traditional southern bbq. The bbq here has absolutely no smoked flavor throughout the meat and its too bad they have a nice smoker but maybe its the technique but it sure doesnt get into the bbq. The food here isnt bad and the staff is very friendly and great people...just not good bbq at all thats all.

My boyfriend introduced me to bluegrass BBQ and I love it. The BBQ nachos are awesome. The BBQ tator is very good and full filing. Two thumbs up. Keep up the amazing food.
