I first walked in to Mathias several years ago after calling on a to go order. the food was good but the folks working there were less than friendly, and for no good reason. It is pretty hard to make a bad impression in only about 2 minutes but they pulled it off. About a year later i gave it another shot and was amazed when the people were just plain rude again. I guess if you are not one of their handful of regulars this is how they are. I asked around and turns out its the owners who work the place. It kind of stinks because the place is convenient to where I live but I just cant see myself ever spending a dime on a place that clearly does not offer even the most basic of human politeness/customer service.

Not friendly. I called and man answered and just said "hello?" I asked if I was calling a restaurant because I was surprised by how he answered the phone. He responded by rudely saying "yes." So I hung up and will be ordering food from else where

First time here and it was amazing. Generous portions. Cant go wrong with a burger, but the cheeseburger and bacon cheeseburger subs were GINORMOUS and were one of the best in town.

Cash only business. Also they do not sell liquor.Smoke Free. Despite being labeled a bar we took my daughter and she got royal treatment! Very friendly, excellent food, cold beer.
