This is my 2nd time enjoying dinner at this establishment. The service is always great and the food is great. This time around I had the Shepards pie which is beyond good. I made sure to order a side of gravy with it because I was told that there gravy was good. It was fantastic the Shepards pie was really enough for two people. I took it home and enjoy the rest for lunch. For appetizer I had the smoked Irish salmon with capers and red onion with a mild horse radish sauce. It was prepared to perfection. My son enjoyed the chicken curry it was plentiful and just the right amount of spice. My husband had the bourbon ribs which fell off the bone they were cooked to perfection. I would highly recommend this place. Great casual atmosphere and very interesting old bank building. Yes and cocktails were super! Enjoy! The price is also right!

We chose to eat upstairs where it was quieter and really nicely decorated. Music was at a perfect level and authentic. Started out with Finan Haddie Garlic Dip. Thought we werent going to like the combo of smoked fish and garlic, but it was really very good. Then we all tasted each others main entrees. Guiness Beef Stew was excellent, with tender lean beef and great flavor. Shepherds Pie which as also flavorful and lean. And the All Day Irish Breakfast..OMG... the BEST. Everything on the place was awesome. All of the dishes was seasoned just right, not too salty or overpowering. Dessert was the Delectable Chocolate and Berry Trifle. Both to die for!!! Dont know why there are bad reviews. Maybe different chef. Also, if you want quieter and more upscale atmosphere, you should go upstairs.

always enjoy a meal here. siamsa frys, shepards pie. and if your feeling rich, the higher priced meals on the menu are well worth it. guiness on tap ( better be with all the guiness logos on the side of the building) negatives: the bar stolls in the center of the restaraunt are uncomfortable, the booths are tough to get into even for a smaller person. for the night life ive seen djs and bands. crowd can get overwhelming for some. but it is a college town. still an enjoyable time. wait staff does not change too often so good to see a familiar face when being served. this also helps them know the menu. even wait staff in training is being trained to the fullest. so i get what i ordered!

While the atmosphere and bar is nice, dont go in on a busy night expecting to get good food. We had reservations, yet our food took over an hour to come out with multiple dishes arriving cold. We informed our waitress, who was fantastic, about the problem, and she did all she could to resolve the issues. Unfortunately, the kitchens way of warming up the food was simply tossing it in the microwave, which was noticeable when we got the food back. It seemed that the problem here weighed more so on the kitchen and management than any of the wait or bar staff. The service was great, it was just the poor way the food was cooked that was bad. Go for a drink, but go somewhere else for food.

I used to come to Siamsa quite frequently, and for all intents and purposes enjoyed the evenings I spent there. After bringing a friend of mine to the bar, who happens to be both black and a veteran of the Iraq War, the racist bouncers closed in on him for absolutely no reason whatsoever; apparently we were mistaken for another group of beligerent drunks. Who knows? Either way the bouncers yelled several racial remarks at my friend and quite literally kicked us to the curb. After witnessing such unwarrented racist behavior on the part of the bouncers at the bar I have decided to no longer support a restaurant that discriminates in such an unfair manner.

Dan and I joined our friends, Lynda and Beth at Siamsa Irish Pub, Sat. 10/15/16. We enjoyed a fine lunch on the finest autumn day. Accolades to the chef responsible for this very delicious onion soup. I was happily surprised to taste and see the curry therein. At first I noticed a different taste to a soup, which all to often leaves the diner with a too much salt experience. On second inspection the tell tale golden sheen in the soup, which could only be curry powder, was apparent. I cook and the next soup I will be making is My version of Siamsa Onion soup.

Ive read some of the negative things that people have wrote about this place but personally I love this place. Ive been there at nights, the bouncers were all very nice, the employees were all friendly and the bartenders were all pretty nice, they would make eye contact with you to let you know they notice you are waiting to order when its crazy busy especially Kaitlin. I have also been there during the day for lunch and the food is pretty good. The portions maybe a little small but what counts is the flavor and the service.

Staff was very friendly so that warrants the decent rating but all in all was not very impressed with the food. Ordered the bruchetta and had a few bites was good for a couple bites but thats about it. Also had the penne vodka and was quickly turned off by it. Probably ate about 5 bites but the flavor could not allow me to continue as it was very odd for a vodka sauce. Not what I was expecting at all. Will maybe give another shot in the future and probably try just the Irish food.

A genuine Irish pub right in the center of Stroudsburg. Housed in a fully renovated bank, downstairs is a large pub with several tables for eating and watching sporting events on the TVs. Soccer is the preferred sport when it is available, but any and all sports are welcome. Upstairs is a quiet restaurant. Food is always excellent, even when its something as simple as fish and chips or shepherds pie. Beautifully finished woodwork makes the perfect setting for an evening meal.

I was at the Pub for a rehearsal dinner. We had a private area upstairs. The bar staff was super friendly, and the ambiance is great! For dinner we had a small buffet line, with a wide variety of choices. Although I cannot specifically remember what we had...I can tell you it was delicious! The only negative is the parking. It is all street parking, although I think after 6pm it is free. I wish I lived in the area so I could go back to this place!

Food was dried out. Interior gorgeous but air conditioning turned up so high it felt like 30 degrees. We went outside. In short order all the tables were filled with loud adults smoking heavily. I am an asthmatic so we hurried to eat. Luckily I had a treatment set up in the car and a rescue inhaler so in short order I was fine. Incidentally I got asthma from second hand smoke. 12th

Ive been to this place a few times, but not for a while now. I dont plan on returning. I had the server hit on my girlfriend in front of me and be rude to me. Then the last time, I got food poisoning from dressing for my Reuben sandwich. I was sick for the rest of the night. It is a shame, because I did like the ambience of the building apart from the service.
