When Benvenutos first opened we ordered Butter Garlic Wings & Pizza so so good! Very impressed. Second time ordering, got the same thing. When we got home I realized we only had onions and peppers on our pizza, but we ordered sausage and peppers. I called just to let them know of the mix up and wasnt sure if they accidentally gave us the wrong pizza. The man on the phone replied "What do you want me to do about it?" Wrong response. To be fair later in the conversation he said next order he would give me a free topping. I wasnt looking for anything and as an owner/manager you should have the answers on how to fix the problem. Forward a few weeks, same order butter garlic wings & pizza. The wings were not the same quality, and they were swimming in a half a stick of butter with 2 whole garlic cloves. Also, I requested Ranch & got BC. Case in point the product is not consistent and sub par. The good is theyre open till 3am on weekends and have a variety of items on their menu. Probably wont go back, but never say never.

My friends and I stopped at Benvenuto after several hours of hiking in the Delaware Water Gap park. Its a small pizzeria on a fairly busy street. Theres plenty of indoor seating and available meter parking on the street. The service was okay and the staff seemed friendly enough. We got a few garlic knots to share and everyone got some slices. The garlic knots were superb and very flavorful and fluffy. The sauce was also very good. The pizza, however, could have been better. There was a clear over-reliance on oregano and Italian seasoning to cover the lack of flavor. The base wasnt very crispy and seemed slightly undercooked and gummy. The pepperoni was oily and wasnt really great (but perhaps Im just used to more crispy, spicy pepperoni). The crust lacked imagination and flavor, not being well defined as crispy nor fluffy. It was somewhere in between. I wish the same sauce I had for the garlic knots was more liberally applied to the pizza as it would have made up for some of the deficiencies.

Went to have dinner, sat down with menu, requested a glass of water while we decided what to eat. Was told had to purchase bottled water. I said tap is fine. She asked person cooking if she could give me water and he said we wouldnt want to drink the tap water. I said you must cook with it. He responded saying he boils the water. We got up and left. I do not want to eat in an establishment that has to boil their water before using it for any reason. Since when are people not allowed to just be given a glass of water with their meal? I dont drink soda, juice, or tea/coffee. When we left the wait staff called us cheap. Really? This is how you get customers to come back? We were going to purchase two dinners but they lost our business forever. We walked across the street and ate there instead. Getting a glass of water over there was not a problem.

CODLESS SUPERSET
Asked for a delivery, the pizza guy came flying up my driveway, screamed that my driveway sucked , slammed the pizza boxes into my chest really hard and flew out the driveway really fast,! If he was so concerned about his car, why would he fly out the driveway like a complete jerk, with 2 kids in the driveway , 25 rescue animals around, and not for nothing his sauce for calzones is horrible, my kids saw all this and call momentos, that guy is mean!

Oh my goodness! Just flew here to Stroudsburg to visit my family and we stopped at Benvenutos to pick up pizza on the way back to the house. So delicious! Perfect sauce and spices... and the Caesar salad was amazing. I hope these guys stick around. What a great addition to the area.

When they first opened, the food was of great quality and taste. Gave them a couple of weeks and its the same old bait and switch with a new pizza place. Counter help was rude and the quality went way down!

The pizza here is absolutely amazing. Probably one of the best pizzas I have had. The atmosphere is awesome and the service is fantastic as well. Great NY style pizza! Would highly recommend

Probably one of the best pizza spots in Stroudsburg. Offers by the slice or whole pies with a great variety of toppings. The staff was also very lovely.
