Good food and friendly people. Simple down to earth local restaurant. I LOVE their cheese steak with the sauce. I dont usually like cheese steaks with the red sauce but Red Lion does it the best. Also try the deep fried pork chop, its the best way to have a pork chop. Down home, country cooking, very PA Dutch type food. Good Birch Beer on tap. Not sure if they make it or if its a local brand but I highly recommend you order a mug. They also do to go orders for subs and stuff, and have baked goods up at the front counter but I always eat in for a full meal.

What a nice surprise. I dont live in the area. This place was recommended to us. At first, I wasnt going to stop - it is not very attractive from the outside. But I am so happy I looked past the cover. The food was very good, the service was excellent. I had a delicious burger called The Cowboy that came with fresh cut fries. The food came out fast and the prices were quite reasonable. This place is about 2 hours from my house, but I would gladly make the trip again.

I have been a customer for years. Today is something that should not have happened. My wife and I order pie , and I ordered coffee she ordered Tea. We returned the first cup of tea as it was served in a dirty cup. What upset me most was I found mine had dishwasher residue stuck to the bottom of the cup. They were so generous to refund us the cost of the coffee and tea. I dont think I will be back. Very poor customer service.

Red Lion prides itself on generous portions, but our experience on Saturday was underwhelming. Ordered a salmon patty sandwich...it came with no sides. The Turkey breast reuben was the size of a deck of cards. It had a slice or two of turkey breast but was not as advertised. The frickles, fried pickles are not worth it. A friendly staff doesnt compensate for small portions.

Descent food, great waitresses. The management is the problem here. They treat their employees absolutely horrible. I wouldnt recommend coming here based on management mistreatment. The two women who run the business are destroying it, and it is sad to see what used to be a wonderful place crumble to the ground.

A restaurant this far away from everything with a parking lot the size they have...means its definitely a place people travel to eat. One of the best steaks I have ever eaten. They use a lot of seasonal fruits and vegetables for their sides and desserts. Definitely recommend this place.

I LOVE the new items on the menu...but also like that they kept old favorites. Ive tried a new salad with strawberries...forget the name though. It was awesome. I also tried a new burger, The Cowboy...that was delicious too! My one son LOVES the charbroiled pork chops!

We come to the area often and drive 30 minutes to get there. The food is great and lots of it. I share the chicken dinner with an 11 and 12 year old and we are stuffed! They make homemade apple dumplings and more. This is our favorite place to eat in Pennsylvania!!!
