First of all, the food was fine. Eating in their restaurant was an experience. When seated, place mats (thankfully) were placed on a table that had not been cleaned. This was also noticed when other patrons left. All crumbs, straw paper bits, and fingerprints were left on tables and none were wiped. Since we were not given menus, we had to go find them ourselves. Waitress asked what we wanted to drink. I asked for a glass of water and she said they only had bottled. Not a problem, I probably would not drink it all. My companion asked for tea. After waiting for a very long time, I went to front counter to ask if we order there. No, I suppose she forgot we were there. Then she said she could give me tap water if I wanted, with or without ice. That was very nice, but I thought that was what I had already asked for. The water came in a timely fashion. We ordered a stromboli, and a calzone. I am sure they make them special, but it did take a good long time. During that time, the hot tea finally came. When food was served, both looked the same. Strange, but we dont care. I asked for utensils and she asked me if I wanted the sauce that comes with it to dip into. At least I finally picked up my calzone, because that, of course, also took awhile to come. As I said, the food was fine, but the menus served in the restaurant portion need to be updated to the current menu. My calzone contained something not listed on the restaurant menu. I happen to like the topping, so that was fine. After taking a take-out menu, I did see it listed as served in my calzone. Someone else may not like or expect it in their calzone. No, we will not be eating here again. Some day, perhaps, I will try take out. This was our fist visit since new management took over the other year.

I SUSPECT THAT THE GOOD REVIEWS WERE POSTED BY THE OWNERS AND/OR SOMEBODY AFFILIATED WITH THEM. Notice that they make the same fake sales pitches and FALSELY accuse the bad review writers. There are a staggering 15 one-star reviews for the new Don Giovannis, but the old version had only four and five star reviews!!!! What does that tell you? I worked in the restaurant industry for years, most of the time as a chef. The ingredients used in Don Giovannis horrible food are indeed the cheapest and thus poorest quality imaginable. I mean seriously, 59¢ CANNED pizza sauce? Their pizza actually tastes like a metal can because of it. The toppings are few and far between -- and the lowest grade imaginable. And the cheese is extremely greasy/oily and thus low-end. Their other food, such as cheesesteaks, is just as awful tasting. The recipes are just plain terrible, even if the ingredients were high in quality. This is NOT the old Giovannis that served decent food for the money. Any fast food restaurant serves infinitely superior food at a much lower price.

I finally found a place with buffalo wings I actually LOVE! Im not a picky eater but I do love quality! Pizza is great too! Ive also had their sandwiches, everything is so fresh and delicious. Ive worked in pizza shops my whole life so I expect courtesy and they do that very well. I had to wait a little extra on busy nights but how can I complain when I see them working as fast as they can and still manage to make my wings well done! Im about to order from here right now actually, as soon as I submit this review! lol

The buffalo chicken cheese steak is popping and so is the buffalo pizza I never tasted any thing this amazing in my life, it definitely doesnt use cheap ingredients I dont understand why people are saying that, the costumer service is amazing, and the place is nice, neat, and clean. I would definitely recommend this place to friends, family, and every one, every time your hungry and looking for the best, premium food I would really recommend this place.

Dont believe the negative reviews about cheap ingredients. They all seem to be written by the same person (perhaps their competition a few blocks away). The food was great with the old owners and still good with the new owners. Im not much of a pizza eater so I cant judge that. However, the buffalo wings are very good as well as the cheese steaks. Seasoned to perfection and the prices are reasonable. Overall, the food is good here.

The places just got a new charcoal grill and the NY strip steak is amazing and the smae goes for the burgers it was a great experience i heard they have new owners it is back like it used to be clean good and fast the service was amazing as well and mid priced food

Been living in the area for 6 years, one of the best pizza places around. See lots of reviews about the prices being too high. Well its probably because you are actually getting good quality pizza and not that garbage they sell for 5 bucks a pie around the corner.

Seems to be a lot of people wanting free pizza lol. We just ordered pizza and wings. SOOO GOOD! Thanks guys. Its like our third time ordering and we like it a LOT. Dunno why all the negative reviews but we are happy. And full and sleepy now lol.

Ordered online and was giving one price but when the delivery showed up it was a dollar more and there is a $3.00 delivery fee. The food was not bad but one of the pizzas had all of the cheese on one side because of the box being tilted.

My friends and I hate this filthy grease pit. We were shocked by how much worse it is than the old Don Giovannis that actually made good pizza. The new owners make pizza that tastes like styrofoam (it really is THAT bad).
