I ordered take out from here while waiting for some of friends to get downtown. My food arrived before my friends, so I decided to sit down in their outside seating area, and I began to eat some of the take out that I received just moments earlier. I thought it would not be a big deal, I was only using one chair, and there was only one other person sitting in the seating area that could probably fit close to 20 people! Soon after my first fork full, someone came out of the restaurant and told me I could not eat where I was sitting. I was confused. At first I thought maybe they did not realize I was eating the same food I had just ordered from their restaurant moments ago. So I tried to explain my thoughts to the person who was kicking me out, but my efforts fell on deaf ears, and I was forced to leave their seating area. I can maybe understand kicking someone out of your seating area if they are not eating from your restaurant, but not the very own food that was just ordered from your restaurants kitchen... Bad costumer service. Terrible way to treat a costumer. Trash...

Completely embarrassed by the staff. I work in the area and ordered for pick up with a co worker. We went to pick up the order but my coworker was having a rough day so I asked if we could sit at their outside seating area so we could eat and talk. The staff member that took my payment said we could. We order beverages and sat outside. Within less than 5 minutes that same staff member tells us we cant sit there. I say "You just said we could" he denies. He apologizes and says something to the effect of not having offered drinks for us to stay... I dunno I was no longer listening because I was so embarrassed. So we start collecting our food and placing the food back in the bag but we apparently werent moving fast enough because two other staff member came out to chastise us as well. All eyes were on us as we were rudely kicked out and rushed from a place i spent my good money on for highly priced average food! Oh! and they got my order wrong!!!

During my trip to Philadelphia, this was the most expensive and least enjoyable food I had. Completely overpriced for what they give you. It was delivery, and I suppose the one upside is that it arrived quickly and without order inaccuracies. Big portions, but its bad enough that I couldnt even eat half of it. I saw a review saying their Thai is better than their Chinese, so I had the Panang Curry, which is generally a good bet. The sauce and tofu was good and plentiful, but it had practically no vegetables! It had bell peppers, green beans, onions, and snow peas. Thats it. Monotonous taste. My friend had some Chinese dish with chicken, said it was completely average. Very Americanised. There have to be dozens of restaurants in Chinatown that are twice as cheap and three times as delicious. Go somewhere else.

My experience at this restaurant was short lived and embarrassing by the staff. I entered the bar to have a glass of wine before my photo shoot. I was abruptly approached by an employee and ask about whether I was going to be seated at the bar ( which was obvious) since I had planted myself in a seat already. Then he proceeded to harass me about my small wheeled luggage for a good minute. I felt embarrassed about the situation because the place was empty and it was completely unnecessary to "direct" me on where to put my luggage especially since he wasnt the bartender and all I wanted was my glass of wine while waiting for my agent. It was a very uncomfortable moment.

This is my favorite Chinese takeout place for Center City. The food is absolutely amazing, the delivery is fast, and the service is friendly. Their "Hunan Chicken" is the best General Tsos Ive ever had. It has the spicy, sweet, fried goodness one expects (and demands!), while gently releasing the subtle flavors of ginger, scallion, and whole garlic cloves. The result is a paradox of flavor: deep fried yet refined and oddly wholesome. The above is but one example of how Asia on the Parkway takes standard Chinese fare to the next level. You will NOT be disappointed.

Seemed like a nice place to eat because I love Asian food. But an Impulse dinner stopped turned into a horrid mistake. The Asian Lo Mein Special... well it is special. it gave me food poisoning that struck me with a 104 degree fever and a night in the ER. I had the worst plane ride back to Oklahoma. the food didnt taste bad, just made me so sick. never again. Be careful what you order. Enjoy.

I had a work trip and stayed in a hotel close by and someone suggested I try this place. The online ordering was super simple and the delivery was quick. They thought of everything and it was neatly packed in a bag - no mess, no spills - including silverware, a plate, sauces, etc. The Hot & Sour Soup is the best Ive had in forever! Highly recommend this place - friendly, easy, and delicious.

The food wasnt bad, it wasnt delicious either. I ordered Hunan Chicken. The chicken itself was quality, but the preparation and taste were very average. Shanghai Gourmet in the Reading Terminal is hands down the best Chinese takeout restaurant in Center City. I probably wont make an effort to return to Asia on the Parkway anytime soon.

Got delivery from here on a Friday night and they came really quickly (I mean I do live 2 blocks away but still) and I was very impressed. I got one of the Thai curries and I had plenty leftover for lunch the next day. I was craving it for lunch! They have a good amount of vegetarian food which is always a plus for me!

Food is subpar. I ordered the coconut soup. There was not a great flavor and the chicken was not good. Then the Beef Panang was watery and the dish was red and green peppers with mushy beef pieces. Not real Thai food in my opinion. This place needs some guidance on how to prepare Real Thai food.

Starving from red eye flight from Pacific time zone. Didnt expect much yet it falls even below my low-expectation. Pad Kra Prow beef looks nothing close it is supposed to be. More surprised? Its tasted like Pad See Eaw!!! Wish I had more energy to get SubWay from across street.

The steamed vegetable dumplings are my favorite in the whole city. So fresh with sliced mushrooms instead of random non meat fillers like most other places. Love Asia on the Parkway for their great food quality and service!
