Apparently finding a Chinese restaurant who will deliver to my home is not east to come by, However, I was pleased to hear 99 Chinese Express would. My excitement turned into complete disappointment when my order finally arrived. They did make it within the quoted delivery time and my food was actually hot... Pizza Hut cant even do that and they are closer! Alough my food was hot and arrived within their quoted time, the food was terrible! Everything I ordered was under or way over cooked! The boneless ribs were so dry and hard I had to dig to find the really large pieces so I could eat something that wasnt shoe leather. My crab Rangoon had next to no filling and the wonton wrappers were apparently cooked at a very low temperature for way to long and were very chewy. My egg roll was not only very small, but also lacked filling... it was wrapped so many times the underlying layers of the wrap were raw and again, very chewy.... their Lomein had a very off flavor... the only Chinese my daughter will eat and absolutely loves and she refused to eat it and said she didnt like it. I didnt even bother to call... just threw 75% of the food I ordered into the garbage and have no plans on calling again to talk to the woman/girl (she sounded very young) who apparently hates her job and doesnt know the first thing about customer service.

Ordered from here twice. The order was fine. Although after eating the vegetable lo mein I felt sluggish with a headache and noticed my heart fluttering. I noticed that it tasted rich and thought maybe it was made with too much MSG. My boyfriend and I ordered again recently and I asked if the vegetable lo mein could be made with no MSG. The girl on the phone repeated what I said and I heard a man in the background saying something. The girl said she was sorry but they couldnt do that then said it would cost $2 to have it made without msg. I was a little annoyed. We also ordered fried dumplings, crab rangoon and combination platter of shrimp chow mein. The dumplings were only fried on one side but had a decent taste. The crab rangoon was hit-or-miss as far as the filling, some were filled some were not filled as much. The worst of all was my boyfriends combination platter of shrimp chow mein. It came with pork fried rice and cabbage and shrimp and thats it- no other vegetables and no noodles. It was also supposed to come with an egg roll but instead they put in a bag of fried wontons. Normally when a Chinese restaurant is out of something they offer a substitution or a can of soda. But they didnt even say anything. I think next time well drive the five extra minutes down to New Chinatown weve never had any issues with them.

I really like the food here, and their delivery range is pretty good too, but the past few times Ive ordered the person on the phone has been downright rude. I just ordered this evening and as soon as I said what I wanted and my phone number, the person said "OK bye" and I said I needed to pay the a CC so they took the numbers and said "OK bye" I asked how much it was going to be, told me the price followed by "OK bye". No thank you, no nothing, just downright rude, and for no reason. I had been polite to them. The kicker is in her hurry to hang up on me, the lady who took my order didnt bother to confirm my adress and sent the delivery person to the wrong house, which delayed my order and inconvenienced the very nice delivery driver. As much as I like the food I wont be ordering from them anymore. Change your staff and hire people who can handle a simple phone call.

Terrible staff. I ordered two platters equalling almost $20.. $19.81 to be exact and i didnt recieve my rice. I called and told them about the mistake. To my surprise I was spoken to with such attitude by the staff OVER RICE? They acted as if i wasnt JUST in less than 20 minutes ago, but as i repeated my order they were concerned i was lying and was told i needed to regive my phone number so they could check to see what my real order was. Seriously? Theyre concerned about if I was lying about not getting rice? What does it even cost to make some rice sides? Whatever it was i never received it and ended up with a mediocre meal WITHOUT THE RICE I PAID FOR. Terrible customer service if thats what you want to call it. Lost a loyal customer because i live down the road AND NOW I WILL NEVER GIVE THEM ANY RECOMMENDATION.

The food was ok, service was worse. We will no longer eat here. The last time we were in the food was only ok at best. They ran our mac card through twice and told us it was declined both times. So we went to the bank, and took money out to come back and pay. After getting home we found they did charge us both times the card was swiped. We went back, and did get the refunds, but they treated us like we were lying, and surrounded us when we complained. It made us feel very uncomfortable. But the biggest reason we wont go back is a few days later we walked past and saw something disturbing. It appeared that two of the employees were engaging in an adult activity on one of the tables.

They Moved down the street. They are now located in the Cali center about 1 mile West. We have ordered from here 4 times now. The food is not consistent although it is generally pretty good. General Tso chicken ranges from bland to very spicy. Even when I ask for extra spicy I have only received it cooked that way once. The cashew chicken is not recommended. It had an overwhelming taste of aniseed. The crab rangoon is good just make sure they put the sweet and sour sauce which accompanies it in the bag lest you discover it isnt in there when you get home like I did. The dumplings are very good as are the barbeque spareribs.The egg rolls are bland and terrible.

I ordered generals tsos and a sesame chicken combo from here, they are always rude on the phone and theyve screwed up my order a few times, but this time in particular, they sent me 2 general tsos, I called them and the lady tells me GENERAL TSOS IS THE SAME AS SESAME CHICKEN WITHOUT SESAME SEEDS! She never offered to fix it, and I ended up eating my non sesame seed sesame chicken! What a ridiculous answer!!!!!!!!! I ordered sesame chicken in part for the sesame seeds!!!! Ill never order here again after that..........

Very good food, great service. Id give them 4.5 stars if I could. Im used to some vegetables and pineapple in the sweet and sour chicken, and theirs is just chicken, sauce, and rice, but its excellent for what it is. Beef lo mien was also very good. Food was hot, order was accurate, and staff was friendly and efficient. (And in response to Bonnies review, I have to say that the person who took my order spoke English just fine.)

The man that took my order was a gentleman over the phone. When I got there to pick up my order, he made me feel like a total jerk for paying for my order with a debit card. Told me that this wasnt Walmart or Turkey Hill and that they get charged 63 cents per charge. Why even say you accept debit/credit cards when you are going to scold your customers for using them?! Definitely not going back.
