I lived in the area and visited 2-3 times a month the staff is always friendly food always great. As for those who complain about it being smoky -- stay out of the bar and In the no smoking dining room as anything available in the bar is available in the dining room. This was a biker bar at one time long ago but has and will always be family friendly - I have taken my children in since they were in booster seats and NEVER had any problems. In fact in good weather you will see anywhere from 2-15 motorcycles parked in a row in front of the patio entrance but every biker Ive ever met there are polite and friendly and even will hold the door or help people having car trouble -- dont judge a book by its cover!! The dining area has a quiet country type of atmosphere and as stated earlier it is no smoking in there -- the bar area is well typical small town bar and very welcoming to non regulars. I would highly recommend this for anyone looking for good food at good prices -- So Ive given it 5 stars

Patio seating was dirty and uncomfortable. Took long time for food to be served. Soup or salad comes with dinner entree. My girl friend and I each ordered soup. We were served a crock of soup each. After receiving the bill I noticed we were charged an additional $3.98 for each crock which we didnt order. Waitress argued that she told us the soup we ordered dis not come with the entree. She did not make us aware and it did not indicate this on the menu. Bill came to $48. Food was poor quality for the price. The haddock was wet and mushy. Paid the bill but told waitress we were not happy about additional $8 charge so that was her tip. Manager came out as we were leaving and began mumbling insults and saying we wouldnt pay bill and left the waitress to pay after we already paid all of bill. She was very confrontational while we were exiting the property. We found it to be unprofessional and embarrassing. I wouldnt wish for anyone else to have to endure this very disappointing experience.

This place always intrigued me, so my husband and I thought why not try it out. The whole place reeked of old cigarette smoke like it was soaked into the walls. I almost suggested to my husband to leave immediately but decided to give it a try. I dont know why. The food was not very good. My cajun shrimp wrap was mostly filled with lettuce and cheese and contained just a few shrimp. However, it was enough shrimp to cause multiple bathroom trips throughout the rest of the day. My husbands cheesesteak had an odd taste and the peppers in it were crunchy and not cooked. When he ordered a soda refill, he was charged $1. We will not be returning. I shouldve gone with my gut instinct and left immediately. Lesson learned!

Oh my lord. This is the worst place ever. If you want to spend roughly 50 dollars to get a pie of pizza that looks like the inside of your brain the go ahead and go to this dump they call a "Pizzeria" -- It took me for everyone get my slice. Around a hour. -- Once I got the pizza I realized that my wings werent there. I just said forget it. I took a look at my pizza and it looked terrible. But you know what they say "Dont judge a book by its cover" -- So I took a bite of my zombie pizza. And when I tell you it tastes like ass it tastes like ass. Immediately after eating that nonsense I threw up faster then Sonic the Hedgehog. -- This place must be burned.

OLD Village Inn is right. Old & Dirty. We literally waited over an hour for drinks, yes drinks (soda at that!). And another hour for food that was by no means great. Half of the orders were wrong or cold. The waitresses, although very nice, were more concerned with making jello shots and the event happening in the bar, rather then the many upset people in the dining room. One table even got up and left, we should have followed. Also, if you dare go, look up at the nasty ceiling...that will be enough to make you leave. I dont recommend.

The main attraction is the tavern upstairs and it is a "bar" in the truest sense of the word. The beer and food is better than most places of the same cut, but sadly for for non-smokers the visit will likely be unbearable. The smoke is thick and theres zero attempt to provide ventilation. I am unsure why they dont at least install an exhaust fan. Karaoke night is well attended and a lot of fun, but non-locals will not receive a warm welcome. The downstairs restaurant looks quaint, but havent had a chance to eat dinner there yet.

In the past month I have eaten here for one lunch and two dinners and each meal has been excellent. I have food allergies and the chef altered a meal to avoid my allergy and it was excellent!! The staff is so friendly and helpful. The food is above excellent. If I lived in the area, I would eat here at least once a week! I highly recommend this restaurant. Cant wait to eat here again. The specials are awesome.

Great place to eat and hang out. Low key atomsphere...if you dont like the smoke from the bar you can sit in the diningroom which has a great old pub feeling. Food is reasonably priced and quite good. Drinks are well made and waitstaff is nice and courteous. We go there for date night fairly often and love it. Our only complaint though minor would be to update the bathrooms.

Old tavern, now seems to be a hang out for locals and the biker crowd. Food was good. Dining area is dark with dated fixtures, tables etc. When we first walked in the place had a stale odor and I almost suggested we go somewhere else but the food was good enough to make me glad we stayed

The food is ok, but the place and service is gross to say the least. They still let you smoke in there! The owner is unbelievably disrespectful, loud, and drunk. Dont go!

The atmosphere is nice, I only went to the bar. Even though its bar is quite small its really lively and the bar tenders are kinda cool.

The food was good but our waitress was not very pleasant. Maybe she was having a bad day, so Id give this place another go.
