Traveling from down south, stopped by an Italian chain favorite with the family. Server focused too much on trying to be involved in our personal conversations rather than getting the order right or refilling beverages. After asking what plain grilled chicken option would be best on the menu, he recommended the margarita chicken for the potion size and since it came with zucchini. I appreciated the recommendation and went with it. My mother and grandmother both ordered shrimp scampi with the shrimp well done. My mother is extremely picky and stressed "over cook my shrimp" and the whether or not the message was relayed to the kitchen I am not sure, but the shrimp definitely was not well done whatsoever. I also received my chicken wrong. The purpose of asking which dish would be best in terms of getting my grilled chicken plain was to order the cheapest grilled chicken and have it come out just plain and grilled. I was instead still given the margarita chicken. I understand this was a miscommunication, and I was hungry so I nibbled at my food but really did not enjoy it. After sending the scampi back twice my mother asked to take t off the bill because the pasta was cold, and shrimp still underdone. Seemed as if the kitchen would remove the shrimp from the dish and reheat slightly and lay it back on the pasta which was left to sit cold. Overall worst Olive Garden I have been to, and for $50 for three people who did not enjoy their food or get any refills, this was a waste of time and money.

Olive Garden is absolete compared to Carabbas and of course they wouldnt care if you went down to Longhorn, thats darden owned too. Let me just say this, the mechanicsburg Olive Garden is the worst place on the pike to eat. I saw the vermin running around outside and inside. Will never eat or go near there again. My boyfriend used to work in the kitchen there and was disgusted daily with what went on behind closed doors. They dont know how to manage or train there staff properly, these actions that they chose to take will lead to a decline in satisfaction, service, and cashflow. Darden needs to wake up and get qualified people to run their restaurants.

I stopped at this place today with the Family and let me tell you how impressed I was with our waitress. She was the sweetest and very attentive to us. Another thing we were very happy was on how fast our meals came. We got our appetizer within minutes after our drinks and not long after that our entrees came. Its nice when you have little ones! The restaurant was busy so thats why we were impressed. Our meals were cooked perfectly so that made us very happy. By the way the waitress name is Dana so we recommend her.

The restaurant is undergoing a renovation which is fine and it is in need of. The service was slow. The server was very nice, just too many tables. We are truly tired of the OG taking basics off their menu. They dont have regular fried mozzarella, it has Alfredo sauce on it. The dont even offer bruschetta any more. Years ago they got rid of chicken vino Blanco, a rosemary pork meal, and now the beef meal that had a rosemary sauce and onions and potatoes. Just about done with the Olive Garden.

Today walked in hesitant had not so good experience last year here...today was excellent thomas was the best kind friendly fast on time on cue didnt ask for refills he was already there to refill my drinks food was served on time was delicious ...thomas made me feel like i was important and you dont find that in many restaurants any more way to go thomas and thank you over all experience was 100% satisfaction 10 stars out of 5

Tonights hostesses dont seem to understand the call ahead concept. At 5:30 they said my call ahead would get me a 7:00. When I asked how long if I walked in at 5:30 they replied 1 hour. So I would think the call ahead would get me on that list at 6:30 or 1 hour???? Even worse when we arrived we were not on the call ahead list. Great!

Last night at the Olive Garden in Mechanicsburg we had a great time. The meal was excellent but the highlight of the meal was our server. Dana was very efficient, courteous and friendly. She checked on us several times and went out of her way to make us feel welcome. 5 stars for the meal and another 5 for Dana.

any restaurant that snubs a patron the way olive garden off carlisle pike, will NEVER EVER get my business. there was a 45 min wait. I indicated that I did not want to wait that long & (thinking out loud) said might go down the road to longhorn steak house. They thought that was just fine. Told me to go on then.

We had an excellent experience recently with Erin D. as our waitress. Erin was very friendly and attentive. She was great with our 5 year old daughter. Weve been to this Olive Garden location many times and this was our first time having Erin as our waitress. She did a wonderful job!!!!!

HORRIBLE! Service was slow, stuffed shells came out like rubber and way over cooked, I ordered spag w/grilled chicken and I had to look hard to find the chicken! I may have received 1/4 of a chicken breast. Over priced for what you get! Not friendly hosts.

Delicious food, great wines, and friendly service. The staff was quick to refill our beverages. Unfortunately, we had to keep reminding the server of stuff that we had ordered or of our to go orders and it was not even crowded.

Very disappointed tonight. We arrived at8:00pm service was slow to poor. My meal was Lasagna which was cold.Had to ask for drink refills and more salad. When serviced had no cheese on top. Just poor night.

Horrible service tonight. Sat at table in bar area. No one came to the table in 10 minutes, so I had to move to the bar 5 feet away where the 3 employees that were talking about movies could help.

Love this place. 6 of us meet. every month to have lunch and catch up on family news. come 1/2 hr. Before the rush u never have to wait. Come at 12 u get the lunch crowd. Wake up people.

I always like the salad at the Olive Garden. I ordered the Margarita Chicken from the lunch menu and it was delicious. The Zucchini was cooked just right. It was warm but still crunchy.

This is always a great place to eat. The lunch menu is filling with several choices and all the soup or salad. Ask for extra dressing its a big bowl of salad.
