I wanted to write and say how much we enjoyed dining at our local Perkins. after a night on the football field at Payal Youth football league field at airport park. We were handed a come on in and enjoy flyer for our Perkins. Seeing as it was really late to cook anything we decided to come in. We were seated as soon as we walked in. The staff was very pleasant. Our server Margaret served us very fast. The food we had was very good. My son enjoyed his chicken strip melt and fries. And both me and my fiance enjoyed the bacon burger with fries. We loved how the assistant manager came to our table and made sure everything was to our satisfaction and thanked us for coming. I will definitely tell others about our experience. 100% in my book, good job keep up the good work at the Westfall Matamoras Perkins in P.A.

Extremely attentive server who was very friendly and happy to have a conversation. Food was served hot and was what you would expect for a Perkins. If you have never been to a Perkins it is a bit like a Dennys and Shooneys. The food is nothing to go out of the way for. The prices are reasonable and there are healthy options. I would not consider this a place a high end restaurant. Bathrooms are gender specific. Gluten free menu is available however items are prepared in a gluten kitchen so cross contamination is always possible. That said my gluten free meal was fine. This is one of the faster sit-down restaurant chains I have been too in terms of turn around time for food.

I had a birthday coupon which I figured Id use. The free breakfast was good, the Perkins clown jumping in and out of the booth behind me and bumping my chair was not. Mind you, his clowning around was not over a child, no, Instead it was with a grown woman who he apparently wanted to impress (these are both older adults). I finally had to ask him to stop moving my chair which he did give a sorry and scurried off. The last thing I want to do when out for a bite is to have to confront someone, especially an employee of the restaurant about their behavior! Youd think this grown man had better sense.

It sucked service was horrible ask for the build your own sampler was told I couldnt get it how I wanted it even though I placed it the way they have it written ask to talk to a Manger and after be came back we were going to order something different but wound up leaving after sitting for 20 minutes and no one coming to help us any more and there was only a few table and all the workers were standing around so it wasnt because they were busy would not go there this was the Perkins in Matamoros PA right off of 84 dont go there

This location has been recently remodeled, as such everything was clean and new. The food is basic, but everything was as ordered. I have eaten here many times while taking road trips and it is certainly on an upswing. Most recent visit included excellent service from a waitress named Jessica. She was attentive, honest and helpful with the menu, and had great rapport with the little girl sitting one table over. The current staff is an asset to this location.

I needed some breakfast sandwiches to take out basically bacon and eggs on a roll. I was charged for a full breakfast which was ridiculous. The wait person told me that there were no substitutions allowed. It was in the morning and the nearby McDonalds and Wendys were not yet opened. My advice is to wait for them to open or to eat in at Perkins and settle for their breakfast suggestions.

Rotten vegetables throughout my salad. Just asked for the check and a discount because I literally picked two pieces of lettuce out of it and was basically harassed to get a new salad. I understand that the servers need to ask but, my appetite was obviously ruined after that. Why would I want another salad?

Excellent attention by the staff. Everyone is always friendly and talkative. Drinks never get left empty, and the food is predictably good every time we go there. We go in with a service animal most of the time and the staff always brings out a kid cup full of water and says hello.

The service is hit or miss, there are stellar waitresses here but not all of them try. Classic American family dining and unlimited coffee keeps us coming back. The pancakes are delicious. Rarely a wait and clean resturant and bathrooms.

Staff was welcoming and served us even though they were at closing time. Really appreciated this since I just was released from hospital ER from car accident which they did not know about at that time. Food and service was great.

Pretty normal facility in the Perkins chain. If you like these places (and I sometimes do!) this is a great place to eat. Everything is in keeping with the brand image and the staff are pleasant and attentive.

This place has really gone downhill the past few years. The service is horrible and the place is nasty. Some poor kid threw up in the bathroom and it didnt get cleaned up the entire time we were there.

This was my first time at a Perkins, it reminds me of an IHOP or a Dennys. They gave us three menus each, which was a little much. The food was alright but nothing to get excited over.
