Horrible food. Just horrible. I should have read reviews before heading in to this place. Couldnt fathom where they get this food from, it only got worse when they opened the storage refrigerator. Yikes that was a horrible sight! Tasted horrible, poorly prepared, you could taste that it came straight out of a box While waiting a father and daugther were getting their food and you could definitely tell that they were having a bad experience. You could clearly hear him say "you dont have to eat that" then went to the counter to bring up his concerns. They left right after. So did we. I didnt eat half of what was served. Makes you wonder how people have a low level of integrity to let such "food" make it to the table. Oh and the gravy looked like a watery custard.

Not the Mothers day breakfast that I was hoping for. I know its one of the worst days in the restaurant business. Been there worked that. After a 40 min wait for two orders of pancakes and an order of eggs benedict, at a sticky table that left me full of syrup I about lost my cool. Waitress in her defense had to many tables to handle. I watched a 5 top coming in after us, get thier food before us, and leave before us. Never once during our 40 min wait did the waitress come offer to refill our empty drinks. When the order showed up finally, it was french toast, not the 3 stack of pancakes I ordered for my three small kids to spilt. I wasnt going to chance another 40 min for pancakes. Food was edible at best.

Aweful food & service ! Stay away at all costs. As a local here you end up having to go sometime or another. I have had an aweful experience of ordering the turkey club for luck and halfway done realizing the bread was full of mold on the bottom half. If you think thats gross well dont try the ice cream either at least not from a cone. You know those hot days where you want a quick cool down and watch the employee drop your cone on the floor kick it to pick it up and then serve it to you...yummy NOT!! Health hazard dont go !

Definitely a great place to eat with a large family or a quick eat as a couple. Very enjoyable for some ice cream or a traditional type sandwich. Ive only sat at the tables next to the ice cream and not inside the actual restaurant. Service could be a bit quicker at the counter and cleanliness (at the table part) could be cleaner but overall an inexpensive and good meal.

We decided to stop and check this place out. We heard the ice cream was good. Well this was the worst "meal" Ive had in years. Clearly only elderly people with no internet eat here. Well skip this place , if they cant make a burger they cant make anything. Also the place smelled like dirty grease. Which is what the fries tasted like. Nice waitress though.

Dining room smelled like old folks home and service was marginal. I ordered the burger basket and 20 minutes later I got a frozen burger with wilted lettuce and limp fries. Was going to go to the local racetrack afterwards but had to rush home from diarrhea instead. I dont think even Ty Pennington could help this place.

I dont know what happened today, but an order I placed was completely horrible. Grilled Ham & Cheese, no Ham, 2 chicken parmesans, 1 grilled 1 fried, both were deep fried, no sauce on either, the best part of the meal were the rolls and side of cole slaw. I paid $28.00 for that order, will never do it again.

I had lunch at this restaurant with my family. The food was excellent, served hot and in a timely manner. The service was also excellent. Our orders were taken right away, beverages were refilled and great desserts. I would recommend this restaurant to others.

Food was tasteless, even the God dam soda had no flavor. The food is definitely made for the elderly, no salt or spices of any kind, and it was mushy for most of the population of Leighton for they have no teeth.
