Great coffee and great service! Visited in December 2011 and tried drip coffee, pourover coffee and a latte. Super impressed by all of them. The pourover Ethiopian was absolutely brilliant..perfectly extracted. The latte was right on..the milk was sweet and the espresso complex and rich. I would put them on par with names like Counter Culture, Stumptown and Intelligentsia. They have a great product and great baristas. I live out of town and wanted to buy coffee for an event I was putting on so I called to see how long it would take to ship. The barista I spoke to, Kenny, took my name and called his boss to find out for me, then called me right back. With the service and products they have, I would seriously recommend this place to anyone in the area, visiting or living.

This place is about the closest thing Ive found so far to a real internet cafe in Lancaster. At $1 per 15 minutes, the rates for computer/internet usage is actually for such places as this that Ive been to in the US. Of course, all you laptop owners can your computer in and Wi-Fi for free. There dont appear to any readily available earphone jacks at the desktops which kinda rules out Youtube and music sites or anything else with audio files, but otherwise the arrangement is satisfactory. Prices for beverages are about average for this area. I just finished off a large Mocha Freeze(basically a milkshake) which ran about $4. But overall, this place is pretty cool.

My husband and I LOVE this place!!! Fantastic coffee and this is where I learned all about single origin beans (now the only kind Ill buy), and where we first tried and fell in love with Chemex!!! We cant wait to go back again when we visit Lancaster. We live out of state so I order online now. Very easy to order beans on their website. Fantastic customer service both there and on the phone. Another big plus---their hours!! We love going out for evening coffee to drink their pour over coffee, chat about our day and buy beans when were in town. Very warm and friendly environment. You will not be disappointed.

I actually have a little story about this place. Years ago, about 8-9 years, maybe 10, I was extremely scared going into a custody battle with my mom and step dad. Although I didnt have coffee, I did have a croissant. It was absolutely delicious then. I just wanted to let you guys know it relaxed my nerves very well. I also had a coffee today, by myself, not realizing that this was the place all those years ago. Thank you for your kindness, sweet staff, and fantastic café au lait.

I am always up for trying little "hole in the wall" places. This is a super cute, pretty small, coffee shop. The coffee wasnt exactly my favorite (although Ive been told I have a odd taste for coffee) and it would probably be awkward to go here with a group any bigger than 2 people because of how their seating is set up. Their prices are average for the area and their small menu has a little something for everyone to try.

Amazing coffee, whether you get espresso or pour-over. Their cappuccini are the correct size (6 oz--they know what theyre doing). I love their beans (Ethiopian, Rwandan and Tanzanian are my favorites). The comfortable seating and local artwork make a really great atmosphere. Also the back garden--sat out there for the first time the other day--what a great spot!

Great atmosphere and extremely friendly staff. Very knowledgable about coffee and the beans roasted in-house are second-to-none. The best place in the city for a cup! (I only gave the food a 2 because I rarely order food but Google wouldnt let me not submit a rating for it).

I get coffee here every morning that I can. They have a new house brew called "hexproof" that is an amazing blend and the best coffee flavor I have tried so far. Very friendly staff and a comfortable rustic environment, and a large selection to choose from.

Just stopped in (again) this morning and had a London Fog. Ive always enjoyed Square One coffee and espresso items as well. Great place to meet up with a friend for a chat, or sit with your laptop and catch up on some things with the free WiFi.

Honestly never had their coffee, I only get lattes. Caramel to be exact. hands down the best lattes in the city. No questions asked. Very on point and very consist. Iced and hot are great. This place made me very snobby with lattes now.

I came here to try the Light and Sweet Espresso with Lavender Syrup. The coffee is great and the shop has a modern and calm feel. I would have liked to see more food choices to pair with the coffee, but otherwise this was a neat stop.

Very nice coffee shop in a very low key townhouse. The coffee is good and is made fresh when you order and prices are reasonable. The place has a very laid back atmosphere and decor which fits in with the whole lancaster area

The coffee is outstanding!!!! I have been to all of the coffee shops in Lancaster city and this one by far is my favorite. I only have two small complaints. Turn the music down, and stop charging refills on regular coffee.

Understanding that espresso should not always be made with your darkest roast is a huge pluse. I wish their double espresso was really a double espresso. Great coffee, great prices. Public parking is right across the street.

Cool atmosphere and good coffee. The only bad experience was with their nitro brew ("The Velvet Hammer"); it tasted like vegetables and was horribly bitter. All their other drinks are very good, though, and service is fast!

The coffee is very good and there are lots of options. The baristas are friendly and knowledgeable. The atmosphere clean, cozy, and rustic. Its my go-to spot on my day off. There is on-street and garage parking nearby.

Stopped in last evening for an expresso and the Brarista provided exceptional service and throughly explained the coffee selections and insight into how the coffee beans are grown etc. which made a great experience.

Great mocha -- not too sweet -- and served by friendly baristas who often bring it to my table instead of calling for me to pick it up at the counter. I also enjoy the local art displayed and for sale.

They offer a good selection of brews. Im a big Chemex fan, so I was excited to see they offered that option! Ended up going with the cold brew, very good. Cool atmosphere and nice staff!

Quaint, cute, and comfy. The selection is great, pricing is spot on, and the staff is very personable. Definitely recommend stopping into this little shop for a good cup of coffee!

They specialize in lighter roasts allowing for more flavor variety among beans, and use a pourover for a clean cup. Coffee is fresh roasted and gives a high-quality rush of energy.

Popped in for a fresh brewed coffee while exploring the city. Rehabbed row home in the busy downtown area. Cozy front room with plenty of seats. Friendly staff and good coffee.
