I got a triple Americano, and it was really good so Id trust any of their espresso drinks although Im not sure what theyre using for syrups. They also have a fun Japanese monster paintings of a few of my childhoods Saturday afternoon friends, like Godzilla, and Mothra! Its a great place to get a bit of work done as well with lots of seating and good WiFi. Its also accommodating to those with kids, and those that like to cozy up with a book as there are areas for both. They also have some cool merch!

Coffee: 5 stars. If you can make an americano delightful then your product is good and your staff knows what they are doing. Staff: 5 stars. Always awesome and friendly with none of that hipper-holier than thou attitude at other local indie spots Atmosphere: 4 stars. Lovely, but could do with more warm and cozy nooks like the one near the back door. Improvements: Could stay open even later... that would be awesome. Overall, so BADLY needed in Lancaster City!

Im originally from California and have been to many coffee shops, but this one definitely has the best of everything. The prices are amazingly cheap, the coffee is excellent and perfect drinking temperature when you get it, and the atmosphere is perfect for hanging out with your friends and chatting, a well balanced level of noise so its not library quiet but not sports bar loud. Definitely gonna come back when I visit in the area again!

The noise level is challenging sometimes but it is so well lit with windows on both sides that it is a delightful place to meet even on darker days. Its always packed which is a testament to the popularity and you often see people from the nonprofit sector because it is a popular meeting place for that group.

The tea is great. Service was great and thoughtful and ridiculously fast. Temp is perfect. Price was low. Not sure what the other comments meant by calm. Its 10:45am and this place is busy & noisy (cement and metal deco). Doesnt bother me any, but I noticed other comments implied otherwise.

Mean Cup has a fun atmosphere, with great quality (and value) coffee. I like that they have different blends every day for drip coffee, and give good suggestions. The staff the day that I went was terrific. I look forward to going back again soon!

I really like Mean Cup, but I think it closes way too early, especially given its prime location near a college campus. College students would come more often and get a cup of joe at 1 am than 7pm. Or maybe at least make the weekends longer hours.

This is hands down the best coffee shop in Lancaster. The whole milk triple mocha is my choice every morning. Plus the staff is excitant and so friendly. I dont even have to order anymore they know what I want and even know my name

Coffee was good, but the Batista had an attitude (maybe thats why they call it "Mean Cup"). Even though the prices are good, I dont think they are worth the attitude. Ill go elsewhere.
