Its Sunday afternoon. Just left this horrible place. Smells of urine like an old bar room. Ordered ravioli which must have been coming from the old country because it never arrived in the 45 minutes my wife and I sat there. My wife ordered the custom milled baked oatmeal or so it seems, that never arrived. Seems the "Cook" had a problem with our waitress as she inquired within earshot about our order three times. He mumbled something unintelligible as we waited.....and waited... Where was Mimi Broduer when this horror show debuted? There were more family members than customers in the place. Finally we got up and left. 1 hour of our lives well never get back. Please! Do yourselves a favor and skip this place. Gordons in Linglestown is a pleasant place to dine. Colonial Park Diner a ptomaine twilight zone.

I went with a friend and this was not like any other diner Ive been to before. They have a policy that everyone must order even if you plan on sharing a meal item. They will only tell you of this policy after everyone has ordered, so you have to decide whether to order something or leave. Also, the bathroom was messy and the overall environment was not friendly. It was a very unpleasant place to be in. I wont ever go here again, unless the quality of this diner improves.

We went with my parents. I ordered the chicken cordon blue dinner, but the cheese sauce topping was burnt. The stuffing I ordered as a side was sweet with raisins and a sweet glaze on it, to which they added chicken gravy. My husband ordered chicken croquettes and they were dry and hard from being in a steam tray too long. Overall, this just reinforced my impression from the last time I ate there and the ladies room had an exposed sewer pipe in it.

My babe and I ordered steaks, lobster, crab cakes,salads,baked potatoes and Pepsi.needless to say my steak was medium rare I asked for well done with fried onions,he asked for medium well with no onions..his was well done with fried onions.his lobster was dry my crab cake was burned.we never got refilled drinks after asking twice.my salad was wilted,the dressing was horrible.the waitress was inattentive to us,our night was ruined.NEVER AGAIN!!!!

Was not impressed whatsoever. Had two scrambled eggs which came from distributor pre scrambled mixture. Hash browns with onions ($.75) extra which were not mixed in, just thrown on top. Ordered rye toast, got wheat. Ordered corned beef hash which came out of a can, not fresh made. Gave it two stars because I may give them another chance. Hopefully they can redeem themselves by then.

Now that this restaurant has new ownership, I have changed my review to 5 stars! Dynamite service and food. We loved their other restaurants in the area (Gordons Family Restaurant and Blue Mountain Restaurant) but this one is much closer to home. So super excited to have them just a stone-throw away. Great Menu and very clean. I have never had anything bad from their menu. It is all good.

I ordered a "meat lovers" omelet with hashbrowns. I ended up with the largest omelet Ive ever had. The potatoes were nice and crisp, and everything tasted great. Service was fast and prompt, and but the waitress forgot to bring the extra napkins we asked for.

Wow Just Wow!!!! When you hear a diner you do not expect excellent food. You expect dive and cheap. This was the BEST diner food I have ever had!! Highly recommend this place to everyone who asks me of a good place to eat lunch!
