In the area for the day I was not going to bother with lunch but I did at least look at Google to see what was out there just in case. When I read the reviews I decided to go ahead and give them a try as most reviews were quite favorable. I was not sure exactly what to expect since I have never been here before but when I walked in I saw that it appeared to be similar to another burrito restaurant that I went to several years ago but have not been back to as it was not near an area I frequent. Not knowing what to order I decided to just make my own burrito with what sounded good and had it not been for the fact that I got it to go I think it would have been quite good rather than just okay. The reason I think it would have been better had I eaten there is that they have this large assortment of sauces in varying levels of heat as well as other tastes. Not knowing what to get I grabbed some of two different ones but had I stayed I could have sampled several. If in the area I might be back but it might depend on what I feel like eating that day or if I even feel like eating. If I do come back it will be with the intentions of eating in so I can sample several flavors of sauce.

I get sick EVERY time I eat here. The first time I thought it might have been something unrelated. The second time my husband and I both went and ended up very very sick. I have never been so sick in my life. I was on the toilet throwing up into a bag. The third time was like the first, horrible bathroom emergencies. I can eat at michochana (or however you spell it) in kennett, or even taco bell and feel perfectly fine. It is consistently JUST this place. Such a shame because it is an otherwise fun place, the soda machine is great, hot sauce selection is good even though Ive never had any, etc. Still, do NOT eat a burrito then get on the highway. SRSLY.

The person claiming they got sick the three times she ate here either has a food sensitivity she doesnt know about or is lying because she doesnt like the restaurant. My family and I frequently eat here separately and for family dinners because it is situated about in the middle of where we all live. Ive eaten here easily over a dozen times. When Im looking for a nice quick and easy place to take a friend when we are looking for a bite to eat I always go for CalTort. A few of the people that I introduced to California Tortilla have added it to their favorite places too.

The food here is amazing as I expected from reading the reviews and signs. But the real story here is the service - the entire staff had a smile on their faces and were actively engaging the customers. The manager even stopped what he was doing to make his "special" chicken burrito when I asked what his favorite menu item was. They came out on the floor to make sure the customers were all doing alright, and in general the entire staff was in a great mood and service was extremely fast. My new favorite lunch spot! 6 stars.

I went to California Tortilla and I placed an order over the phone. I told the man I had a large order, but he said it was fine. I placed my order, which he read back to me correctly. When I picked up my food, every order had something wrong with it, whether it was missing an ingredient or the completely wrong meal. One meal was so soggy it wasnt even edible!!

Nice staff, good location, fair prices. Their cheese queso is amazing, and you are able to try any of the hot sauces on their "wall of flame" (If its not called that, I now claim ownership) take one home if you fall in love.

Love, love, love California Tortilla! The burritos are tasty and the new menu has an expanded list of options tacos, fajitas, and other non-burritos. The hot sauce collection is great and I enjoy the soda machine.

Had a friend pick up my favorite; Steak Fajita Platter. Got jipt on my meat. Called and the manager explained and corrected for me on my next visit. CalTort rocks. This location almost never disappoints! Way to go.

Im only here for a couple days but this place was recommended. I love the many got sauce options. Its clean, the staff was pleasant and food was delivered quickly. I will be back next time Im in town.

I had been here a few times for lunch and such. Recently I had them cater an office party for about 30 folks and it was definitely a hit. A must try if you are in Delco - Chesco area.
