Today was my first time here and didnt know what to expect so when 30 mins went by and no food I didnt think much of it because they were super busy but then I see others who just walked in get their food. So I asked how long it takes to get your order and they said about 5 to 10 mins. Turns out the mix up was i was put in as takeout and my food was sitting there the whole time in a bag for me to pick up lol. The staff was fabulous they made us fresh food immediately and went above and beyond to make the situation right without me even asking for anything. While sitting there waiting for 30 mins I noticed an employee Luke, he was so helpful and polite, taking peoples trays, opening doors for people. Other than the mix up (hey we are all human) it was a great meal and super friendly and accommodating staff! I highly recommend! Thanks again for turning what could have been a bad experience into a great one!

I’ve had a tumultuous relationship with my local Cal-Tort. I believe one of the other reviews said that the only reason this place does so well is that is the only fast-casual Mexican place in the area. While it’s true that it’s the only restaurant of its kind in the neighborhood the food is always good quality. My only qualms about the place are its service and that its always busy. It doesn’t matter what time of the day it is: Cal-Tort is always mobbed with customers. I’ve learned to phone my order in ahead but even then there’s always a line for the soda fountains, too. More than once I’ve also seen employees lounging around in the food prep area and joking when there’s an insane crush of people waiting for food. If you can get past all that it’s a good place to eat.

Im usually not one for Mexican food..but I do like their food slot here. Only one thing...everytime I go its usually sooo loud and I have trouble understanding the the servers when names are calling for your order..I once by accident picked up the wrong order not realizing it was the wrong one until I got home. I think it was due to how loud it was in there and misunderstanding names being called out. I think they should give out numbers for orders instead of names...would make it easier..but the food is great

Restaurant was clean and service was fast. I got the "California Screamin Burrito" with a coupon for a free entree. The chicken was dry and unpalatably salty, the rest wasnt much better. If you are looking for lowest common denominator "Americanized Mexican" food or want to raise your blood pressure with a salt overdose, look no further. Otherwise, Qdoba, Baja Fresh, and Chipotle all make for a much better experience (although unfortunately none of these options are available in this area).

On the contrary to these other reviews, Cal Tort in Limerick is absolutely excellent and extremely popular among the locals. The food is great, so much better than Moes, and they have an entire wall of hot sauces to try with your food. The environment is very friendly and somewhat silly, and they give great deals on certain days of the week or with a Burrito Elito card. I would especially recommend the chips and queso.

This is by far the best California Tortilla. The food is amazing and the service is beyond fast even during busy hours. Expect to spend about $20 if you come here with one other person. I heavily suggest grabbing a burrito elito card. Every $75 you spend you get $5 off plus a free burrito on when your birthday rolls around.

Always great food, rarely a wait, and the loyalty program really pays off. Its relatively inexpensive, has good options for kids, and can always order ahead online. The crunchy bbq chicken burrito is amazing, and they have some of the best tacos in the area. Definitely worth a visit if you love tacos and a quick, easy meal.

My absolute favorite fast foot chain. The only thing thats missing is organic offerings. Meats are seasoned and marinated to be just right every time. The cashier is very careful to make sure you know what youre ordering and that its just what you wanted. Super friendly too.

If you love Mexican and you love spice...pay this place a visit. The meal options are great but the sauces make the meal! Location is great with parking, indoor seating is self serve, and the prices are reasonable. Perfect to bring the family.

Employees are condescending. Steve called me "buddy" 3 times in 15 seconds. Not sure why a fast food employee would think to talk down to anybody like that. They are the bottom of society. Sad.

I guess you could call it fast food Mexican a la Baja Fresh. Fish Tacos were delicious though, and I liked the fine and beans. Not a lot of options in this area for Mexican so Ill take it.

In my opinion, this is a better option to your typical Mexican fast food. I enjoy the fact that you dont need to tell them what to put in your burrito/taco. Fish tacos here are the bomb!
