The food is fresh, and very good. Just be careful paying -- the cashiers regularly tack on an extra amount to your total. It might be anywhere between 50 cents and a dollar, but it has happened repeatedly to me and my friends. If you catch them, they correct it immediately and shrug it off. I dont know if its on purpose or not, but at this point Im guessing its intentional. Check your total and add it up yourself. Minus two stars for this practice. EDIT: In response to owners response: Thank you for taking the time to respond. However, I am fully aware of the extra charges involved with multiple toppings and guacamole. These are no problem. The "surplus" charges Im concerned with are those which have no justification and which -- when challenged with the cashier -- are removed without question or objection. (I get the same burrito every visit, and am aware of what it should cost according to your menu).

Food was good... Service not so much!!!! The girl asked what we wanted. We had never been here before so we asked about a specific food item. She didnt answer. Decided to just order it anyway... Stated the item and she them took another customer instead!!!! Seriously!!!! What kind of service is that??!! Unacceptable thats what. Would have rated more stars if the service was acceptable. Another person ended up asking if we had been served... Buy this was a few minutes later.. good thing it was already later and neither had eaten anything all day or we would have left.

I am always skeptical of such high rated places, but this place is Fo Realz. Not only was the service excellent for picking my out as a n00b, but I got samples of their carnitas and Cochinita Pibil which i had never had. OMG, get this in your belly NOW. and its the little things like sour cream from a mayo style squeezed in lines all over the Burrito vs two bites in the corner. I dreamt of this food last night. Will be back this weekend and forever. Yum!!

Found this on Travelocity best places to eat in Exton. Visited on our anniversary and was blown away. From the moment we entered we were immediately greeted and handed a menu by a young man and he explained the process to order and what he recommended. It may be a small building but the food was excellent. We will definitely visit again and again. I had the taco salad and my wife a burrito and both were very filling. Definitely will visit again!

GREAT authentic Mexican food!! Its right down the street from my office and I eat there at least once a week. Always quick service and I can eat lunch in 30 minutes if need be and the food is quality, you can eat a burrito and dont feel weighed down. My favorites are the Chipotle chicken hard taco and the carne asada hard taco. They also have a fantastic variety of home made salsas they dont make you pay for!

I like the food from this place, and the owner is always right behind the counter helping customers. Hes really nice, and the food is always good. Its not expensive, but the food is as good as or better than any other place with a similar menu. The dining area is small, and we never really eat in, but for pick-up, its been our dinner a couple dozen times, and weve never been unhappy with the result.

Come here once or twice a week. Food is great and fresh, but they persist in overcharging for toppings. Tacos are $2.50 plus some select toppings. I always get the same things every time, but my price at the register is almost always different. I was even charged north of $10 for two tacos with lettuce, cheese, and sour cream. I like this place but very disapproved of their up-charging scheme.

They have great food, I cant get enough of it but they do consistently charge you extra from what youre getting, I regularly go here and have seen this in practice done to myself many times. I get almost the same order every time with inconsistent charges that do not usually match what I got. Its usually around $1 but theres a reason they dont give you your receipts...

Every time I go here, service and quality is great. They actually know how to roll a burrito unlike other places in the area... Perfect go-to if you are ever in the mood for some Mexican food. If you want a lot of toppings, make sure you take the individual pricing into account and check it, but it is pretty self explanatory and the food is worth it.

This authentic, best kept secret, tucked away in Eagleview (Lionville) comes highly recommended! Havent had a burrito this good since I lived in Texas. The food is always fresh, prepared in house, and tasty as can be! Well offered menu gives you plenty to chose from and everything is delicious! Oh, and they cater, too!! Check it out!!

I have eaten here many times in the last 2 months and each time I loved it. The food is consistently great!! The employees are fast to make your order and friendly. Keep it up Taco Maya!! Give Chic Fillet some Competition. Its great to finally have a "go to" place for a quick tasty lunch in the area thats not a burger or pizza......

Ive lived close by for a long time, but never ended up here.Very impressed with the quality of the food and the variety. The staff is helpful and theres sufficient parking. Theres not a lotta place to sit, so if youre planning on visiting during lunch time or dinner time, be prepared to wait a bit. Kudos to the Taco Maya folks

Hands-down the best Mexican food Ive ever had. I refuse to go to any other burrito chains after having eaten here. The staff is incredibly friendly and you dont feel rushed while ordering. The owner is always walking around and talking to the customers ensuring theyre enjoying their food. I simply love coming to eat here.

Absolutely the best place for burritos and tacos on the East Coast I swear to God. Always friendly and fast service, reasonable prices, and phenomenal fresh chips : ) I recommend this place to everyone in the area- you need to go here. If youve only experienced Chipotle/Qdoba etc this will blow your mind

Very friendly staff, enormous burritos, about 12$ a burrito which is about the standard price for a meal and drink now a days. If you like Chipotle or Qdoba, Taco-Maya is a fantastic substitute if it doesnt turn into your new place. Never had a bad experience in at least 10 visits. Try ASAP.

Awesome everything Mexican food! I tried for the first time a taquito and Ill be ordering them more often now. They roll it right in front of you! The food doesnt sit around for hours, its freshly done right in front of you, like Moes the chain does. Love this place. Owner is super sweet too!

The restaurant smelled rotten. The taco beef was nasty (oily, sloppy, and inconsistent). The cheese for my burrito was AMERICAN CHEESE?!!!! I can only hope they ran out? It was shredded American. Skip this place. Its Taco Bell quality at a premium cost. Drive past and find a Qdoba.

Really good food. Cousins of the La Tolteca in West Chester, they really make good food here. They could be a little more generous with the chips, but otherwise, you wont leave here hungry. Ive tried multiple things, and theyve all been good so far.
