I have been consistently disappointed by the food served at this restaurant. While Ive found their noodle dishes to be relatively good, and their Vietnamese offerings to be similarly tasty, these are the only items on their menu I would suggest ordering. I hadnt been to this place in years, mostly because the parking isnt great, the fact that they dont take AmEx, which is frustrating when youve gotten into the habit of not carrying cash, and their dining area is dingy and almost nonexistent, which is excusable as they are mostly take-out oriented. But we decided to pick something up the other day and I got their sesame chicken. It was horrendous. It was just sweet and sour chicken without the sweet and sour sauce, covered with the sesame seeds and a thin sauce. It didnt even TASTE like sesame chicken. The pork fried rice tasted like old gym socks and the egg roll was tasteless as well. Also, being served by young children is kind of off-putting. Understandable in a family-run business, but still a little odd. The only positive is that its cheap.

E-Yuan Restaurant is one of the best eating experiences in Elizabethtown, and THE best Chinese food in the area. We have ordered from both the meat and vegetarian menus, and are always happy with our order. The owners are dedicated to making your order right, and are very generous.I would especially recommend the steamed dumplings (delicate exterior, with just the right pork and spices inside), sesame chicken (broccoli, rice and sweet chicken pieces -- whats not to like?) and the green jade chicken (something I hadnt had at other Chinese restaurants, and now a favorite item for me). It is wonderful to have a local eatery with such great offerings!

This place is your classic Chinese take out place, with the regular menu of classic items. The lady taking our order was very friendly and considerate, going the extra mile for us. The dining room was decent for a takeout Chinese place, however if its winter, be prepared to be freezing in there cause they have no heat running. But all in all for what it is a good place, much better than Panda buffet.

E-Yuan is our favorite Chinese food. The place is definitely divey but it has the best vegetarian chinese options in the county. I would recommend the tofu and broccoli with garlic sauce!
