I do not write reviews often but our experience at the View at Morgan Hill was so awful that I wanted to let people know in case they are deciding to host a large party there. It is not worth the money! I suggest looking elsewhere. My mother and sister threw me a baby shower with about 30 people. They chose this place since I was traveling in from California to be there and I love the outdoors and they were told the new patio would be open which offered beautiful views. They were never notified that the patio would not be ready. Since the man they were working with was unresponsive through the months of planning, my brother-in-law visited in person and realized very quickly that the patio area would not be ready in time. At that point it was too late to change venues so we were flexible and decided to move indoors. When we arrived on the day, the room that was promised to us was already taken. They had to make-shift a room in a corner elsewhere. After it was set up, we were rushed by servers to order lunch. The meals that arrived for each guest were not what we chose as options on our party menu. When we simply asked for additional salads to come out instead of all the fries, nothing arrived after 5 times of reminding staff. One of my sisters did not get her initial plate until the very end. On top of that, the staff gave us major attitude about everything. This was NOT the service we were paying top dollar for. My mom was so upset after all the adjustments and attitudes that she started to cry and could not enjoy the rest of the time with her daughter who flew across the country to attend the party. After all that, while I was opening gifts, the fire alarm went off (assuming by accident) and was extremely loud and distracting. We did not need to exit so it was just a loud sound that lasted for minutes. At the end when we were all chatting and enjoying our company, the staff was rushing us all out. They were stripping the tables and pulling chairs away before we were all done. It was very unprofessional and ruined the vibe. We will not be returning as I do not think any of our guests would be returning for anything in the future. If you are looking for good service and food for as much as they charge, you can find much better elsewhere.

Good food and nice atmosphere but had a very bad experience with the staff. Our waiter was a little off his game and forgot to take some of our orders, incorrectly wrote down our orders which caused us to send plates back, brought us drinks to the table and then brought them back to the bar while attending to another table. Very disrespectful. We asked to remove a meal from the bill that we did not order and the staff turned very rude. The manager came to us and asked about the experience and he told us his staff said we were making racial comments towards them. Which was a lie. To conter act the terrible service his staff put the blame on us. The manager made it very clear that he had to leave his dinner party at home to talk to us, he was almost as rude as our waiter. Before our waiter left he came to our table and said he was "done with us and going home" I have posted reviews on their facebook page, open table and yelp... all of which have been removed. Very unprofessional business.

Our family decided to do the Christmas Eve Brunch they were offering. Due to the lack of bookings, they contacted us and apologized, but we still went there for a normal early evening/ late afternoon dinner. Our waitress, Lindsay, was phenomenal and the food was terrific. Very large portions. Drinks on average were about $8.00, but were also well made. Our waitress knew what drinks went well with what meals, etc. Even though it wasnt crowded, she did not stand on top of us as we ate. She was however very alert if we needed her attention, etc. The staff, from the cooks, to the manager and waitress were as pleasant as could be. It was a bit odd overlooking golfers in their shorts on Christmas Eve teeing it up, but was a nice backdrop to our meal. The interior decor is a notch above typical clubhouse design. I would say it had more of a private club feel as opposed to a public course. Highly recommend it and its not a matter of if but a matter of when we will be going again.

we decided to check out this restaurant after we heard from friends they renovated and expanded with a new deck and outside bar. We arrived early to really get the feel of the place and let me tell you it was well worth it. We would have never known this hidden secret which is open to the public existed if it wasnt for our friends. We were greeted by a very nice young man at the entrance and offered us any table we wanted on the deck. As soon as you step onto the deck you instantly feel like you are on vacation. Our cheerful server greeted us and told us about the menu and cocktails and we took her up on her recommendations. I had the salmon which was cooked to perfection and my wife had the balsamic chicken which was even better. To say the least we will definitely be back when we are in the area visiting family. Definitely check out the View!

We heard there was new management so we wanted to see how it was. The ambience was nice but the service was horrid. We waited 15 minutes for our waitress i believe she said her name was halee to take our drink order after not even telling us the specials or soups we had to wait another 20 for salads and 45 after that for our dinner. Our salad plates were left on the table until we left. As well as our empty glasses. We had to flag the other waitress down that was walking by just to get water. Our waitress was only there to take our order and drop off the check that was priced too high for the service abd sub par club food. We overheard our waitress saying that she was the manager?! She seemed to be more interested in gossiping than managing her own tables. Poor decision making in my opinion. We will definitely not be back!

DO NOT, I Repeat DO NOT have your event or large party here. We planned our wedding/wedding reception for over one year, and our planned menu /chef were changed to someone else the day of our event without our knowledge. Food was horrible, completely different from the food tasting, not our chosen chef (Plus a dozen other entities were wrong). We reached out to upper management and the owner, and ultimately this led us to a dead end including being hung up on. In addition, we were told to contact their attorney by email. Very sad and very unprofessional. Great place to golf or enjoy an evening on the patio, however, for a special event/wedding I would advise to spend your thousands of dollars elsewhere!

Beautiful restaurant & spectacular view. Service was terrible. We were 4 couples. Ordered the Seafood salad to share with my husband & we each ordered the prime rib sandwich. I asked the server to bring the salad first. Our sandwiches came first. Then after we were almost done our sandwiches he said he was going to bring the salad. I told him we would just take it to go My friends husband order a dinner entree with a side salad & his dinner came out & when he was done the server brought his salad with the wrong dressing. My seafood salad that I took home was a disgrace in the portion for $13. All six of us said we would not recommend the restaurant.
