This place is awesome. The service is outstanding, the burrito wraps are softer than chipotle/qdoba, and the ingredients are much better spread through the burritos, which is a big deal to me. Im confident with the quality of ingredients used as well, though I dont have specific specs on sourcing, etc. One of my favorite things about California Tortilla is that it has an entire wall of hot sauces, rated from 1-10 in hotness. I love natural hot sauces, my favorites so far being Iguana XXX and Arizona Gunslinger. Lastly, as I noted, the service is excellent. Im here approx. once a week, and everybody always makes me feel at home, even if Im just rushing out the door.

I had high hopes since I read a review that said it was much better than Chipotle but I have to disagree. First of all you cant customize it anywhere near as much as Chipotle and their advertising is misleading. Under personalize your burrito second section: Pick a protein or veggie you can add double meat for $1.75 ok, but it turns out that Fajita veggies (grilled red, yellow and green peppers, onions) is considered a protein and I was charged an extra $1.75! On top of this there was very little steak in both mine and my husbands burrito. The overall burrito wasnt as good as Chipotle and it was more expensive. Well be sticking with Chipotle for now.

I ate at this place today and thought it was OK. The ingredients looked fresh to me and my burrito tasted pretty good. Its basically the subway equivalent of mexican restaurants. Its no Los Sarapes, but its no taco-bell either. What do you expect for less than $10 a meal take out? The one star reviews are lowballing this place (and Im not quite sure a former employee who is obviously disgruntled is the best person to be reviewing a restaurant anyway. My opinion this place deserves 4 stars.

Went to CT on Sunday 4/26/15 - Long story short - Wife got the wrong burrito and only found out when we got home - Called CT and the manager stated the obligatory sorry but then said that he would personally deliver to our house the correct burrito - Not 10 minutes later the manager was at our door with burrito in hand and an additional coupon for future use - Now this is customer service!!!!! Way to go above and beyond - Will definitely go again - Thanks

As a Mexican Food junkie, Ive tried them all- Moes Baja Fresh, Qdoba, Chipotle and everything in between... for quick service, you will not beat CaliTort! The food is always fresh and the staff is always friendly (say hi to Peter)!!! All of the specialty burritos are amazing and everything is made to order so you can leave off or add whatever your heart desires!!! Check them out- you wont be disappointed!

I went here yesterday and I can say with complete honesty that this is likely the WORST restaurant in Doylestown. There is a Wawa within walking distance and I imagine the food there is superior. The thing that sticks in my mind is that the rice was not properly cooked - there were a few crunchy grains in my burrito. This is the only chain Mexican restaurant that I have ever disliked (Taco Bell included).

Great Experience! Great Food! Their flavors are spot one and the staff is super helpful. Loved their chips and salsa- so fresh! Its much like Qdoba or Chipotle, but without the guess work of what will taste the best together. I loved their pre designed flavor selections. And definitely enjoyed the giant selection of hot sauces to experiment with during our meal!

The food is always excellent, always tasty and the portions are above average, especially the burritos. Another plus is there are plenty of healthy choices on the menu and every dish is made to order, however you prefer. My favorite place to eat in Doylestown, much better than chipotle.

Food is decent but it is more expensive then the Chipotle up the road surprisingly. A bowl here runs me 8.26 a bowl at Chipotle is 7.21. The real appeal here is the hotsauce wall. I love trying a new sauce whenever I come.

I love Mexican food (aka tacos/burritos). This puts every other chain such as Chipotle to shame. Between the actual quality of food to its service- where else are you going to go? No where! Go to Cali Tortilla !
