:::: Meim Versuch das zu übersetzen: Friendly, calm, good food (Hamburger and so on, but verry best). And also there is a nice garden in the backyard to sit in the sun or shadow to have a drink, something to eat or maybe smoke a cigarett and talk to nice girls and friendly men. If You want to stay for an other drink and Your girlfriend won`t, give her the creditcard and say go on. I`m shure it works. Have a nice time in Troutdale. Greetings from Flori (Austria, Kleinwalsertal)

Awful. Do not go here. Ive been here three times in the past year and two of the three times they said there would be a 45 minute wait for food when it was not busy at all!!! The last and final time was tonight. My boyfriend and I sat down outside, the waiter asked if we wanted anything to drink.. we both ordered alcoholic beverages, she checked our I.d.s... My boyfriend, how was 16 in his photo and 25 now and looks much different, was fine, no questions asked. And then She said shed have to have mine double checked after looking extremely skeptical of it. She was extremely rude about it. And then she came back and told me Id have to answer questions because my photo looked "zoomed in". Just a bit of background information; Ive lost 80 pounds since my I.d. photo was taken so I have a much smaller face... But I look exactly the same otherwise. Needless to say after three attempts at this place, I will never go back. It sucks because its within walking distance of my house. I guess thats what happens when your employees dont know anything about how to treat a customer.

What happened to this Troutdale gem. Ye Olde Pub was once the place to go in Troutdale. Catered to everyone. They have obviously changed owners. No friendly hello when we walked in. No I will be right with you. Nothing friendly about this place any more. At one time this was my granddaughters favorite place to eat. However, they no longer have anything on the menu for children. They didnt even have cherries for a Shirley Temple. We ordered appetizers and main course. Everything came out at the same time. One person at our table tried to order his burger well done and the waiter talked him out of it because it would take too long and everyone elses food would get cold. Advice to the new owners...if you are going to allow children in your establishment have something for them to eat. If you do not have air conditioning when it is 90 degrees outside offer water. When somebody orders a Nacho with no olives and no avocado dont put ALL toppings on the side and call it a make your own nacho. Been eating here for 5 years and unfortunately will never be back.

We went to the pub for a quite simple dinner. Service was great. We started with Onion Ring happy hour appetizer which were pretty good, but nothing special albeit inexpensive for happy hour $4. I ordered the Shepards Pie which took 20 minutes (forewarned on menu and by the waitress), so I ordered a cup of the African Peanut Soup as a starter. This soup sounded a bit odd to me so the waitress offered a taster of it, and I really liked, so I ordered a cup of it. It was a really unexpected pleasure. The Shepards Pie indeed did come out in 20 minutes, but worth the wait. Very tasty stuff. My wife ordered the Cobb Salad, which was large and had all the normal good stuff in it. We were very pleased with the meal, the service and the atmosphere. I would most definitely go back, and would recommend it for a simple meal with a beer at a fair price.

Great experience. It was after a concert, and it was busy but not packed. Happy hour menu was in effect. The steak bites were cooked just as requested (medium rare), the small nachos were small but not tiny and super cheesy, and the seasoned fries were great. Their microbrew selection is small but included Elysium so that worked for me. And the staff is wonderful. Also a nice outdoor seating area, but tonight it was raining so no joy there. #pnw

Surprisingly good food in a cozy, divey, friendly atmosphere. I had a craving for fish and chips and just knew that I was going to be disappointed, but went for it anyways. I was pleasently surprised. Although a bit greasy, it was perfectly crisp and tasty. The tartar sauce is nice and tangy and the fries are seasoned with subtle but delicious spices...who does that? I appreciated it though!

After a long ride back from the coast and missing Gustovs due to an interchange "CHANGE" and Edgefield in 20 minute wait status we decided to try this little pub. The beer offerings were sparse but what was offered was great. We happened to arrive at happy hour.... great food and friendly, helpful server. Will make it a regular stop when cruising the Gorge....

A little loud. Not a big building. Thats what gives it a home feeling for me. everyone here either knows each other or will talk to you like they know you. Good prices. Great drink. Bar workers are very kind women. The people are very interesting. This bar is very clean with fast service and the best seasoned French fries Ive had in years. Go to troutdale.

We got fed up with the craptacular service at Edgfield up the road and decided to give this place a try. Its very clean and the owner was super friendly and gave us the history of the place, very cool. The interior has lots of character and if i lived closer, Id visit more often. Ill be sure and try something off the menu next time.

Have not been there in awhile. But when I was, poor service. Wrong food, charged for food I did not get. Server doesnt know menu, has no idea what a bacon bloody Mary is. When its there special. Rude and pretentious. Hippy liberals. But when I got my food, omelette rocked.

We all had a great time. The service and price of edgefield was enough to run us off! Found a wonderful place just down the street! This place is warm and welcoming! The food is wonderful service on the spot! What a spectacular change from edgefield!

All I can figure is that the.other reviews were written by paid.people. Fish and chips is so small that a happy meal has more food. Service slow. Only two associates in.the place and.it was 6 pm All I can say is run away

Good food but over priced for the amount u get. I got the nacho it came on a little kids plate with a hand full of chips. Not worth 10$ Had bad service took 15min to get drinks. Over all not a good time.
