Pizza Caboose is the best pizza in the area if you like pizza! They have 2 glorious locations. One in Tigard (original store since 1971) and one in Rock Creek (Somerset West). The Rock Creek location also serves fried chicken. They both serve legendary potato spikes. ;) I grew up near the Rock Creek location. I have been going there since I was 8 (around 1981). I actually thought all pizza places were this good back when my world was smaller. Low and behold I found out I was spoiled by the best pizza in the area. Other places just cannot compare. The staff is really nice and helpful and you can tell they actually want to work there. They have special trucks for delivery which are designed to keep the pizzas as warm as fresh as possible.

We are return customers at pizza caboose and we like it, but we wish it was hot when it got to our door. We dont live very far away and you guys use those oven trucks so it should be hot but its always just warm. We said we didnt want the jalapeños after all and they added it as a side as a surprise charge at delivery. That was a disappointment because we gave the driver a $5 tip only to see weve been charged $2 extra for a little container of jalapeños on the side. The potato spikes are nostalgic with ranch (as long as they dont arrive cold and soggy/stale) and they put like an entire 12 stick of pepperoni on a pizza. Just start bringing it hot and fresh and well give you more stars.

Our family is from Austin and Seattle, and we were all visiting Portland for a few days. We decided that a local pizza place would be perfect for a crowd-pleasing, easy dinner. Pizza Caboose sounded like a fun option, so we stopped by. Everything was delicious! We ordered 2 pizzas and the salad bar, and we were so impressed with the texture of the crust, the freshness of the toppings and salad choices, and the friendly, welcoming staff. Oh, and the Ranch dressing! I dont even like Ranch, but I was pouring it on EVERYTHING - it was SO GOOD! If we do make it back out to the Portland area, we will DEFINITELY stop at Pizza Caboose. Please go and have a slice (or 3!) for me!

No no no no no. Is every oregon pizza place horrible? I have visited multiple pizza places here in the state of oregon hoping to find a good local slice. Still havent found what Im looking for....lol. stick to dominos or chain restaurants for a semi decent pizza. Good lord i come from Texas and the pizza there is pretty good especially if you go to Brothers Pizza. But i think oregonians have been deprived of such pizza to the point theyll settle for pizza caboose. Jeez, also pizza schmizza...where you can get a pile of dough and toppings which you cant even taste. And people love it! Have never tasted the worst food but if thats your thing just come to oregon.

This place has been here for 50 years I swear and it has always been great pizza. The food is 5* Most everyone gets it delivered. This might be the 2nd or 3rd time in the last 30 years Ive ate inside the restaurant. Service 4* Very friendly people. Building/decor 2* Small and old. Hasnt been remodeled since the 70s. Carpet 2* Cosmic and black light. Youll know what I mean the instant you see it. Bathrooms 2* Small and old. Parking 3* This is a small place but there never is enough parking, so park at the bowling alley next door. Did I mention the food is 5*.

Went here for the first time this past weekend and itll probably be my last. We ordered the, Caboose Special ($23.99/ large) and was extremely disappointed that they dont make their own crust. When the pizza arrived it was a very small large and the pizza was lukewarm. I asked them to toss it back in the oven to warm it up and 10 minutes later we got back the pizza that was still lukewarm. *Ive had better pizza at Dominos for a 1/3 of the cost... PLEASE, Pizza Caboose start making your own crust, it makes the world of difference.

My first time ordering from Pizza Caboose. Sadly, it will be my last. The toppings were fine...cheese and sauce were good, pepperoni, Canadian bacon, onions, and mushrooms also good. But the crust is awful and was totally soggy. I called to let them know and was told "I find that hard to believe because Ive only heard that once or twice." Maybe the onions and mushrooms made it soggy, I dont know. I just feel it was not worth $20.54 plus tip. And really wish I was offered a coupon for another try.

My first visit was last week with my six year old, predominantly chosen for being the closest place open near the Tigard Cinema. The tastes very similar to what I remember Pizza Hut tasting like in the 90s, a little greasy, but that deep-dish almost pastry-like crust. Bonus points for the train running around the restaurant near the ceiling and the big train steam funnel in the middle, I wished the train under the center table was operational. Obviously, great for the little train enthusiast in your life.

This is our go to pizza place. They cost a little more than some of the bigger chains but its worth it. And the potato spikes with ranch to dip are my kids favorite! The Firemans sandwich is also delicious and their simple salad bar makes for a nice easy lunch meal. The building itself is a little dated, but I appreciate the charm and the little train that goes around the room adds character. Family favorite pizza place for years and Im so glad we are in the delivery radius!!

Just get this delivered so I cant speak for the restaurant itself. Love this pizza. The crust is perfect & the toppings are fresh & plentiful. We mostly get the Mexican, which is just too good. They deliver the veggies separate so you can do your own & give you lots of taco sauce & sour cream. The potato spikes are fabulous & addicting. We get this delivered at work on occasion & the spikes are always a crowd pleaser.

Killer pizza!!! A classic pan style pizza that always tastes delicious. Quality ingredients along with a good cheese to sauce ratio make this a place to visit. A little on the soendy side, but it really is worth it. They have some really good potato wedges. Get a side of that to go with your pie. Interior has a good amount of seating, but could use some upgrades. Still fun for the family.

Ive heard good things about this place, so my boyfriend and I ordered a pepperoni pizza from there last night. However, overnight and into this morning we were both ill. Presumably it was from the pizza since that was the only meal we shared and we both were sick in the same way. Although they seem like nice people working there, we probably will not order food from there again.

This pizza is good when it arrives hot and fresh. However when its clearly been sitting so long it sticks to the bottom and the cheese starts to harden its very unpleasant. We ordered BBQ chicken with breakfast bacon like usual and over the last year the delivery time has skyrocketed and the quality has gone down. I will likely never order delivery again, i may eat in.
