I would rarely take to time to review a restuarant I may never get back to there 85 miles from me. Picking up an item we bought off craiglsit brought us there. First the menus have very descript pictures. If you want real authentic oriental food its here beware some of there items may not fit a hambuger pallet. But they do have Americanised food to fit any pallet. I read a couple reviews and and I sure who ever wasnt totally satified with there meal most likely ordred something a little to aggressive from the orient quizine. So dont order something with squid or duck brains if its not in your desried taste and you will love this place. If you do have a more colorful taste zone you will find something here that isnt on the Kun Foo platter in the safeway deli. So there is food for all levels or oriental tastes. I ordred a spicy shrimp and vegtable plate my wife ordred won ton soup. There tea is good and the service was great. Nothing fancy in the decor but the price of everything on there menu is below its value and less than most any oriental food that is not generic. Nothing generic about this place. the Shrimp were cooked in the thinnest crunchy coating and they were possibly the best I have ever had. The veggies were spectacular. I thought at first there were not a lot of vegtables however I soon realized there were just that many shrimp they were also large and high quality. My meal was a 9 or a 10 on a scale of 1to10 My wife is allergic to seafood and quickly discovered her soup had shrimp in it. It was to die for I liked it almost as much as mine what I did not eat of it came home with us. They made a special soup just for her went back and made fresh won tons with no shrimp cooked in a non seafood based broth. They continued to applogize even though the menu was pretty clear about what was in it. Not to mention they were back there making her order from scratch. Her second order did not make it home with us we both finished it off as i wanted to bring the left over won ton soup home for one of my sons who likes oriental noodle soup. It was very good. But I liked the seafood version a lot. While i wont be headed back there next week for dinner we did load the location in our GPS and if we ever find ourselves in the area again it will most likey be planned around a meal.

Im not compelled to write reviews often, but occasionally a gem is discovered in the community that simply must be shared! I was recommended Good Taste Noodle House (under new ownership) from a Chinese friend with very high standards. I made a casual visit during my lunch break one day, and right away had a good feeling seeing this to be one of the few Chinese restaurants where actual Chinese frequent, a very good sign! The reception and customer service was fantastic from the beginning, and the decorations and atmosphere, fresh, elegant, and with a very relaxing modern ambiance. Freshly cooked duck simmering in the kitchen, delicious smells of steaming soups, my mouth began watering. The menu was surprisingly large and diverse, not complicated or hard to read, but simple, clearly explained, but with seemingly infinite options. I could come back (and do) many times, each time trying something new, and fantastic. The most important part of the review naturally is the quality of the food. Not only was the food cooked fresh and fast, but every item was just stellar. From a well made Thai Iced tea, to absolutely melt in your mouth crab puffs, to a delicious main entry, I was in heaven. My only complaint was that my own stomach filled up far faster than I wanted it to, leaving me plenty of leftovers to take home. The quality of food and service, top notch, and surprisingly everything was very fairly priced. Often to find actually good Chinese food (which most Americans cant even recognize) one has to either drive very far away, or pay top dollar. Not the case at Good Taste Noodle House. Not only do you get top tier authentic Chinese Food, an extremely diverse menu, fantastic customer service, and wonderful meal time ambiance, but you dont have to spend a lot of money either. I recommend good Taste Noodle House to anyone that loves good food and a good atmosphere, and especially to someone tired of the same Americanized Chinese cuisine. Try them out yourself! PS. Just took my girlfriend here for dinner the other night, one of the harshest chinese food critics in Oregon, and she fell in love! :)

3 months have passed and we must have been here at least 10 times. We come pretty much every week. Besides some variance in the portion size (sometimes its a little less noodles), the food has been consistently good. We now typically get the super bowl with duck, roast pork, and bbq pork. The wantons are big, fresh, juicy and delicious. This place hands down has the best sambal chilli sauce. ------- Wow! This place can surely dish up some really authentic Chinese food. We ordered only 2 dishes, the congee (porridge) with preserved egg and pork, and the dry egg noodles with bbq pork and roasted duck. Were originally from Singapore and miss the authentic hawker style food that is very common over there. The congee at first glance looked plain and rather uninviting, however, one taste of it, wow, it is packed full with flavors. The egg noodles with roasted pork and bbq duck was also very delicious. The bbq duck had nice juicy crispy skin, and the noodles were very fragrant and combined with their sambal style chilli, one bite of it basically transported us back to Singapore! The servings are generous, prices are reasonable. An observation of the menu, this place caters to people looking for authentic Chinese food, and also for locals here who are looking for hearty Americanized Chinese food, as the menu is basically split into 2 sections. Highly recommended. We will definitely be back!

This is a worst restaurant. Chinese food!yuck! I got a soup and it is gross. That soup is yucky,i dont know what they put but it seems like a 7years old made thay soup. I cannot explain bit hell i dont want to come back here. First, mostly white people over here not too much asian people. My wife is an asian and she said this is a worst restaurant she went, and she said the food is not good. The place is stinky, fishy smell and the cups, table and more smells like fish. I saw the lady cleaning the table gross not that really clean, dirty rag and the gross part is the chopsticks that she put on the table is dirty and she did is she touches the chopsticks and try to take off the dirt with dirty hands instead of getting a new one and wash tje dirty one. This place is horrible. Dont go here the place is not clean. Stinky place and worst asian food. My wife smelled the place is stinky and not so clean. So better not to go here. We got sick after eating here.

Menu was extensive and had photos of items that all looked good. Thai iced tea was a bit strong and bitter. The crab wonton appetizer was better than average. The egg flower soup had an odd (but not bad) taste. The main courses were beautiful and generous portions but everything looked better than it tasted. Deep fried prawns had a little too much breading and it was a little doughy. The BBQ pork was fatty. The other items seemed to all have a Chinese 5 spice flavor. Nothing was good enough to make me want to go back. Service was good and friendly and atmosphere was just OK. Value was good as there was lots of food.
