As a fan of curry, I ordered their curry chicken. At 10.95$ for a lunch serving I was hoping for something special. The customers who came in after I did were served first. I asked where my food was at the counter, to find out it had been sitting there for over 10 min. No one bothered to tell me. The man behind the counter offered no apology. The food was very meh. Not enough greens, and the curry was just potatoes, carrots, and chicken over rice. Not special at all. At Kokiyo Teriyaki in Hillsboro I can get similar Americanized Japanese food with bigger portions, better service, at around 8$ for a meal. Disappointed.

Waited over an hour for our dinner. Five other tables seated after us, had already dined and left. We were a three top so not an excessive number of diners, we didnt order anything crazy. The waitress brought water. Then another came to take our order. No one asked for drink orders... we asked the waitress for a couple beers, the manager served them, clearly hes the only one with a servers permit. No one came to the table to offer and excuse for the delay with our food. I paid for the beers and we left. No one offered an apology for the delay or even asked why we were leaving without our food. Worst restaurant ever!

Wonderful place! We stopped in here from reading the reviews on google and decided to give it a go. It was exquisite to say the least. Probably the tastiest sushi I have ever had, and very reasonably priced! Me and my husband got 3 rolls, a combo, saki, and tea for 43$! A great deal for sushi considering how expensive it can be, I would definitely go back! I highly recommend the plum tea, absolutely delicious

Come here often...mostly because its a block from where I live...love the sushi, orange chicken,& teriyaki..prices are decent & its much better than driving into Portland to go to one of those conveyer belt places..only thing I would like to see is new options on the menu..roll selections havent changed in the 2 yrs Ive been going & there is never anything new to try.

I love this place! I eat there several times a week usually. Their sushi is always freshly made, their tempura is excellent and their teriyaki is superb. I am addicted. There is something for everyone, My dad doesnt like sushi so he always has the teriyaki and tempura, and the rest of us all share their wonderful sushi. Great prices too!

My husband and I have eaten here a few times since we discovered it. The food is always hot and delicious, the staff is outstanding, and while the restaurant is a touch small, its very nicely decorated. If you live in Forest Grove and hate having to drive into Hillsboro, or further, for good Teriyaki, then I suggest you try FG Sushi.

My fiance and I discovered this place 2 weeks ago and we are completely hooked. The food is delicious and service is outstanding. Servers are kind, aproachable and knowledgeable. Lunchtime is very busy, but the food is worth the wait. Highly recomend this place to everyone we know! Try it and you wont regret it.

I came here with my friends a lot. They are very popular and offer teriyaki options for non fish lovers. I tried sushi for the first time here recently and have been wanting to go back ever since. Be warned they are super busy on saturdays and typically 5pm to close. I recommend ordering to go if its backed.

Great chicken teriyaki and sushi. Sometimes the wait can be long and they dont always answer the phone when they are open. They really need to get fountain drinks instead of $1.50 for a can of soda. Music and heat inside the restaurant would be nice. Lunch special is a great deal.

I was stationed in Japan for nearly a year, and tried plenty of the local cuisine, and I can say that FG Sushi is some of the the best premium sushi Ive ever had; its also reasonably priced. Only problem is the service can be hit or miss, and the sitting can be cramped at times.

Ive eaten here a few times and its always good. Its a small place and can sometimes have slower service if busy, but its well worth the wait. Just sip on your sake, kick back and relax. Great happy hour too!

Over all this place is a real catch for Forest Grove. The food is really good and the atmosphere is genuine other then the jazz music. The service is great as well. I will definitely be coming back.

Great food at a reasonable price. We were lucky to snag a table right before the dinner rush. I had the chicken combo bento. It was a very satisfying meal that was easy on the wallet.

Ordered the ramen, definitely the shin ramen you can buy from 7/11. should have had the teriyaki I guess. Also, they were rushing customers out the door at 7:30 when they close at 9:00.
