The food here is very good. The four of us each ordered something different to get a sampling of meals, including ordering the appetizer which was fantastic. The appetizer has hummus, a salad, a yogurt and eggplant with warm flatbread. The appetizer was around $12 but was more than a meal. I ordered the lamb shank with yellow rice. While Im not a huge fan of lamb, this was a very tasty dish. The meat just fell off the bone and gad good flavor. I also tasted my neighbors shawarma and lamb kabobs which also had good flavor and texture. I did try the chicken which was a little on the overdone side but had phenomenal flavor. The wait staff was really good at explaining everything including the specials which were tempting but we ultimately passed on. This restaurant is clean, has an inviting atmosphere, good food and an attentive staff. What else could you ask for?

Tonight was our first time at a Middle-Eastern restaurant. Having tried Ethiopian cuisine in Portland we decided we had to finally try some Middle-Eastern food. We were not disappointed, the venue is very clean and comfortable and the staff are just fantastic, very helpful, the waitress didnt hesitate in recommending dishes as this was our first time in the restaurant. We were not disappointed, the food was delicious, mostly Lamb dishes which we love. The Lamb was just falling off the bone it was so tender and the various sauces went perfectly with the meal. They gave us so much we had to take some home so be careful the first time you try this venue not to over order. I would definitely recommend Al- Jebal to anyone who wants to try something new for a change, we will certainly be going back for seconds over the coming weeks if not days.

Wanted to try something a little different, decided to go here. Reviews were spot on--the food was delicious, service was great, and the restaurant is a nice, charming environment. The hummus and pita bread bread were so tasty, im craving more as I write this; the skewers were just as good. Also bought some cool candy and snacks from the market inside as well. The cashier was especially kind.

We discovered this jewel of a restaurant at lunch today -- EVERYTHING was delicious. They were out of lamb sadly, but the chicken shwarma and biryani and all the appetizers (taboleh and hummus) were out of this world. Cant believe its been in Corvallis for six years and Ive never heard of it before. Can hardly wait to go back again!

My boyfriend and I were looking to eat somewhere different from the downtown resturants. We were very pleased with our choice to try Al-Jebal. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful with questions we had. The food was delicious! We dubbed it our new favorite. :)

The best chicken biryani in town. Love the authenticate taste and the beautiful aroma out of it. One of the best thing i like about this place is their customer service and politeness of the staff and the taste is consistent every time so it wont disappoint you ever.

Came for lunch. Had the chicken shawarma sandwich and my partner the falafel one. Price is reasonable and the sandwiches were amazing. Highly recommended. Try the Lebanese lemonade too, its almost perfumed, very herbal, refreshing and tasty.

Really a hidden gem. Food was delicious and generous, prices fair, and an easy place to take the children. I loved the attached shop with hard to find ingredients and household items from the middle east.

Its an awesome place! They have the best lemon juice I ever tasted. Their foods is pretty good. In fact it does fill you up pretty quick. :) Its worth it a try. If you are into something new or not.

We had the Swarma Chicken plate, pita and Chicken Shish Kebab and it was all very delicious! Fresh, well cooked, good spices. Was also a large portion.
