I would of did 5 stars however the restroom wasnt a pleasant experience. The tavern atmosphere was great, I got to see to senior citizens fight over who was paying the bill. Locals coming in and being greeted like family...it was like you was back home visiting your local watering hole. The food was great and for the amount of people that was there it didnt take long to get it. We stopped on a Tuesday evening and had to wait inline to be seated...it was packed. Only downfall was again, the restrooms. They have no stall doors, theres very little room and if you are a bigger feller...you aint using it.

The G and R doesnt look like much on the outside. Or the inside, for that matter. But its one of those places you just shouldnt miss going to at least once in your life. And if you go once, youre sure to go again! Bologna sandwich is misleading...this is not your "Oscar Meyer" bologna. Its a whole different thing, and unique! The pie is about a mile high and really delicious. Ive had the ham and cheese sandwich and the shrimp and both are great, but its the bologna sandwiches that keep me coming back! :) Dont miss this place!

Been coming here for *gasp* 40 years, with my dad, and I moved away to NYC about 30 years ago and make it a point every year to stop here when I visit family. They still make these monster slicers of homemade cream pies that are out of this world. The bologna, which is inch-thick and grilled - oh man, delicious recipe wherever it comes from (and I am not a bologna fan). I am also a fan of their pepperoni & mushroom pizzas. Friendly staff. Cheap prices.

This is without a doubt, the best place to go for a fried bologna treat. But, please, whatever you do, dont skip on the butterscotch pie. Whenever my wife and I drive down to Columbus, we never miss a chance to eat here. Usually, when the weather breaks into spring, my father in law and I always take a road trip there and bring back a cooler with at least 4 pounds of the bologna salad too! Love it!

After visiting G And R and loving our sandwich we have one suggestion regarding paying our bill.......why dont you give your people their check...I cant help but think it would help you and us to be honest......Yourwaitress already has written the orders on paper, why not tally up the bill and leave it for us to pay.......it seems to be a system easier for all.....thank you

Decided to take a trip there as I grew up eating fried bologna sandwiches & couldnt resist! They were so tasty!! The service was amazing, owned & operated by an extremely friendly family who made us feel more than welcome. Well worth our drive & easy on the wallet! Prices were very reasonable. Definitely recommend as we left with full bellies & smiles on our faces!

Its a hole in the wall kinda place, but well worth the visit. I have been hearing how good the bologna sandwiches are here since I was a kid and now I can say it is a good sandwich also they have really good coconut cream pie :). Prices are cheap, they only take cash and they serve the food on paper plates, but if you are thinking about visiting just do it already.

Great service, and awesome bologna sandwich! Stopped here on the way back home down US-23, and wasnt disappointed. I look forward to coming back and trying their cream pies. Everything is reasonably priced, and also delicious. I recommend trying this place out, or making a pit stop.

Decided to pull off the highway to get something local to eat. Asked around and was told this place had great baloney sandwiches. Stopped in and wow. Honestly if I am ever back in the area I will be stopping back here! You have to try it at least once! Great atmosphere as well.

One of my favorite places. Delicious bologna sandwiches are what they do, and you really should try one. Their other offerings are good too and the pie is really good. Very inexpensive. They do not take credit cards...cash only. Which sort of adds to the charm!

Menu is to itemized paying for condiments. Services was slow but profesional. Good atmosphere. Food is of mom and pop restaurant type quality. Well prepared but its bologna sandwiches and fries cant get to sofisticated there. I would recommend.

Mayo on the side was TOTALLY gross! Old and transparent in color. Mushrooms when cooked mostly stuck together so they werent totally done. Iced tea tasted like instant not brewed. Not the same G & R of my youth. Wont be back
