We dirve biweekly from western NY to central Ohio. We almost always stop for ice cream here and it is very good. But my favorite thing is their peaches. From the time the peaches start to ripen to when they are gone we stop every time by. Last week we drove by too early in the morning, very disappointed they couldnt be open at 9:30 in the morning. I am be peachless this week. Country Maids phone number is attached to the visor of the car so when we get close, we can call to see if they have PEACHES!

Was there 3 times in 2 weeks. Is it normal to wait 10 minutes with no one in the store and 4 clerks working. SORRY not waiting when no one in front of me. The other 2 times waited 5 minutes with 4 clerks and asked them if they were open or talking to each other. SO SORRY but i will not come back what a lousy experience. Also, the ice cream tasted awful and my son and i could not even eat it. I would hope other people have a better experience since i went out of my way to get there.

its funny ive been wanting to go to country maid for ice cream since i was 18 (age when i first saw the place) well here i am 19 years later i finally took my family to get ice cream after a day of hiking in the Cuyahoga valley national park(close by). the ice cream really was very good. like an excellent batch of home made ice cream. why did i wait this long. do yourself a favor and make country maid a treat after a day of hiking-ORDNANCE CORPS!

Everytime I go to Cleveland, I stop here. Thick, creamy, and delicious ice cream, with a beautiful scenic backdrop. Brings back a lot of memories of when I lived in Hudson, it hasnt changed a bit. I recommend the butterscotch flavor, not many ice cream stops seem to have butterscotch, so Im thankful that they serve it. The other flavors are fine too, a lot of options and variety.

The ice cream is delicious and homemade, and the store stocks lots of other homemade items like apple butter from the nearby orchard. Country Maid is located right in the middle the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, and its a perfect stop on the way home after a day of hiking or biking. Try the honey ice cream, its subtle but wonderful.

Country Maid has been a local institution for years in their community. They specialize in small-batch ice cream using fresh, local ingredients (as they always have). Their coffee ice cream is to die for, but all of their flavors are unbelievably rich and creamy, so much so plastic spoons get hilariously bent while you eat.

We stopped by to pick up some more apples and decided to buy a pie for dessert. Sadly it was a disappointment. The pie was very running and over powering too sweet. The blueberries were spilling out and I was just left with a empty crust. I will still go back for the apples but I might just stick with Apple pie.

Best ice cream around. Always made in small batches so its really fresh. Prices are quite reasonable and the kids who work there are cheery and polite. In the fall, they also have the best apple cider around, pressed from their own apples in the adjacent orchards. Its been our "go to" place for years!

Intrigued by variety of ice cream and its availability for sundaes. The turtle sundae is delicious, nice salt + sweet combo. The queues could use some direction. Instead of multiple lines for multiple servers, there was one line that ended at the doorway.

Beautiful location. The absolute best place to stop on a warm day exploring the park! Fantastic selection of flavors, cones, shakes, etc. Ive been coming here since I was a child and have grown up with this as my summer ice cream shop :D

High Quality Ice Cream and Ingredients! They use ingredients grown on site whenever possible (i.e. seasonal fruit from orchard). Seating available inside or outside on their deck. Highly recommend a trip out to the country to try.

The website and Google says they are open only on Saturday and Sunday from 12 to 6pm but they are open from 12-8 everyday now (I suggested an edit for Google). The ice cream was great, though I wish they had waffle cones.

Quaint road side ice cream stand. Nice patio on the side. Excellent ice cream. Reason I didnt give 5 stars is the drive way. The road can be busy, which makes it tough to get out. But it is worth the challenge!

I purchased a pint of butter pecan ice cream. I threw most of the the ice cream away searching for pecans. I found enough pieces that could add up to one small pecan. I will not be purchasing this brand again.

I try and visit when Im up in the Cleveland area. Unique flavors that you dont see everywhere (my favorite is the Maple Nut followed by the Honey flavor). Its in a nice park like setting too.
