I give this place zero stars and five thumbs down based on how my Mother and I were treated yesterday. I came in to redeem a birthday voucher and the young lady behind the counter acted as if she didnt want us to use it. She said she needed to call the Store Manager to make sure she would be able to use it. I dont know why she felt the need to do that because the voucher clearly had the company logo and info on it. The address of the store location and expiration date were clearly visible to the human eye. Anyway once she talked with the Store Manager she said we were able to use it. I asked the young lady how long she had been working there? She replied 2 years. I asked was this a new marketing tool that was just launched? She replied no, its been going on for awhile now but sometimes people try to redeem the vouchers for different locations and thats not allowed. Hmm..okay is what I was thinking. So this young lady was not new to working there and the marketing tool that this company uses to promote business isnt new either. So why would we get treated such a way? I called the Store Manager and expressed my concern towards the customer service and he even told me he didnt understand why this young lady called him about the voucher when she knew that she could use it as long as the voucher had not expired. He even told me that the location of the store didnt have to be on the voucher in order for it to be used. Ladies and gentleman this was clearly discrimination at its finest. So beware of going to this establishment if you would like to be treated as an equal and enjoy a pleasant customer service experience.

Was my favorite ice cream shop until last summer when freezer was down for 2 wks straight and after fixing it theyd eliminated best flavors: the raspberry and peanut butter ice creams. When asked why and if theyll ever be back, multiple goofy teenage employees just shrug, dont know anything and have no substitutes to offer. So just basic vanilla, chocolate, straw, maybe bday cake and blue bubble gum; I guess with all the mix-ins avail, they felt they only need basic flavors. Its pricey: easily $4-5 for the smallest cup. If you go bigger, add cone and more toppings, youre looking at more like $6-7 I guess. Great location just off San Marco square that could be so much better if they had a more professional approach and customer focus.

Very disappointed with your Hendricks location in Jacksonville, FL. Was so happy to find a Marble Slab since moving here last October from TX. 1) Explained repeatedly that Im allergic to nuts... had to practically force the young man to clean and scrape the ice cream station before placing and mixing my selections on it. 2) I have the Slab Happy app with a $5 reward that I couldnt use because they didnt have a scanner to scan the discount code.... no other compensation or alternative solution was offered.. just an "oh well" attitude which seems to be the norm here. First time and last time visiting...

I have never had a bad experience st this place ! It is a mom and pop shop next to An amazing small town center where there are man benches to sit and choose from and a beautiful scenery. Which what I do, I buy my ice cream and walk my excited self to the town center that is like 2 feet away and sit and just enjoy the world..... When I always purchase here I never get anything but the best service ever and Ice cream. Please disregard the ignorance of these picky people who just dont need to go out and purchase.

The tall guy with dark hair was super ignorant and accused me of lieing all because he didnt want me to use a coupon that I had received from downloading the app on my new phone.... Learn better customer service... And to top it of non of the workers used gloves to make the icecream orders they were touching cones with there bare hands. And then the guy told me I didnt need to come back at all because I told him he didnt need to be rude to me.

Typical young workers who dont care about actually earning a paycheck with quality customer service. The store smells like a paper mill. I waited to pay for my order while they let someone else (presumably an employees friend) pay first. Focus less on being so picky about the weight of my overpriced ice cream and more about the customers keeping you in business. Probably wont go back, and will likely suggest others dont.

This is our favorite ice cream spot in Jax. The workers are always so friendly and we love the unlimited mix-ins! Two minor suggestions for the owner, consider repainting the parking lot, its difficult to see the parking lines at night. Also, a trash can outside by the outdoor seating would be convenient.

This place was fairly disappointing experience for me. They didnt have the ice cream I usually order from their other stores, very cramp, and they forgot that I had placed an order when requested. I dont believe its entirely the workers fault but definitely not coming here anytime soon.

The ice cream was good, but overpriced. The restaurant had a sour smell and it was kinda crowded by people sitting around, hanging out. Im not sure if they had finished with their ice cream or if they were loitering, but it did not allow room for another party to sit.

The ice cream, staff, location, and general atmosphere is definitely nothing to write home about. The only redeeming quality is that you can have as many toppings as will fit into your ice cream. Many people dont take advantage of this, but they should.

It was OK. Small scoops for the price (no mix-ins). We got 3 different flavors, couldnt tell the difference between 2 of them. Friendly staff.
