Excellent service and food! Dustin, our server, was very attentive to our needs, even going so far as asking the chef about a potential allergy ingredient. We had the Philly Cheese steak, The Spinach bacon salad, a cup of potato soup, a cup of tomato soup, and dessert of chocolate pie. Our entrees were very good, although the Philly could have used a bit of oil and the salad needed a bit less dressing (although the dressing was very good!) The soups were just delicious- we could have made a meal out of them alone and been happy and satisfied. The chocolate pie was good, but was a bit gritty. It was very rich, topped with raspberries, chocolate, and whipped cream. I think, however I prefer the Texas Sheet cake.

Was traveling back from Athens to Columbus and spent about 45 minutes looking up places in Lancaster to eat with my girlfriend and her son. Decided to pick Main St. Bistro and boy were we all glad! Started with the breaded mushrooms and they were absolutely tastey. I got the Philly steak sandwich and loved it (real shaved ribeye steak). My girlfriend got the grilled cheese. Mind you, she is a grilled cheese aficionado and she said it was the best she ever had. Her son got the burger and gobbled it down. All fresh ingredients, fast friendly service (the owner and his wife are great), and plentiful portions at a great value!! Here for the second time as I write this review. Fantastic!!!

Wow! My wife and I were just traveling through and decided to give this spot a try based on the reviews. It did not disappoint, service was excellent, we where there a bit early in the evening but attentive and surely took note to the details. Food was delicious I had the Ribs which were cooked perfectly (last order from a special they had run) and my wife had the fish tacos also very tasty. We would certainly be back without question, even if we have to go out of our way to go there. Would certainly recommend!

The inside was very nice. The server was very scattered brained. We placed our order and didnt receive our food until an hour and a half later. People coming in after us were finishing their meals before we even got ours. I ordered mine burger with no bun (I have a wheat/gluten allergy) and they sent it out with one. I wasnt impressed with my burger at all, my mothers soup was very runny. May try again, but we were very disappointed.

I have eaten here a half dozen times and the food had always been good with great service. The Greek gyros are the best in town, not as messy, but just as tasty as the ones we get at the county fair. And the homemade soups are fantastic, especially the Autumn Chowder...too bad its only available in season.

Fantastic food! Second meal meal here, but far from my last. Great Crab Cakes, excellent Lobster Bisque (with chunks of meat) and the Blackened Scallops were seasoned just right. Fresh, tasty, and served with enthusiasm. I will drive up from Cincinnati again just for this place. Well done all!

This place has amazing food. Every time we dine here the servers are very polite and attentive to our needs. I love that most items are homemade and the chef comes out to the dining area to talk with the guests. You must try the oven roasted spinach and artichoke pasta. It is simply exquisite.

Great food. Havent had anything I didnt like. Cassie is fantastic. Professional, friendly and prompt to give refills and meet your needs. Regardless of how full you are desert is a MUST. My favorite is the cream brulee. Family friendly and accepts reservations, a definite plus.

This was the BEST lunch Ive had out in a LONG time! There is a wide selection for different tastes and the prices are fair. We traveled from Newark and decided to try something local and we will definitely make the trip back! The service is above and beyond!

Tried them out for the first time today, during lunch. Got the Philly Steak, others got the Gyro and Spicy Chicken Gyro. I sampled all three. Very good food. Very friendly staff. Owner came out and greeted me with a hand shake, nice personal touch.

A unique menu for a small town, but somehow it came across a little run down and greasy. We had upset stomachs after our meals. Also the waiter stood there while we were closing out our tab, observing what we tipped. Awkward.
