Maybe we caught them on a bad Friday night. We had a party of five, waited about 15 minutes for a table. Met some friends who raved about the place sitting at the table next to us. Put our order in, enjoyed a half pitcher of margaritas then waited over an hour to get our food. Got an occasional glance over from the waiter, some extra chips. The food was good, but as I spoke to the manager on the way out about the experience and maybe acknowledge that they could of done a better job, I got the "Oh Well". Ive been to a lot of Mexican restaurants and can honestly say I have never waited over an hour for Mexican. I wish the manager would have taken some responsibility. Tables who were sat after us have already eaten and left. Too bad really, I was hoping to like the place.

Extremely rude! We were there for cinco de mayo, and got on the list. The front was so packed that we decided to go to the back bar and have a few drinks until seated. They came back and said that we would have to be taken off the list if we sat there. First they would have made more money while we waited, second there wasnt enough room. They were very crappy stating that we wont be served! The way they talked to us was very rude, and had a bad attitude....not the way a restaurant should treat customers. Last time I go there. I havent written reviews on Yelp before, but this is definitely warranted. I have eaten there many time before, i will find another Mexican restaurant that value there patrons.

Waiter or kitchen got order wrong. Watched the staff stand around talking and waited for 5 minutes and no check back from waiter after the runner brought my meal. It was luke warm when dropped off. Rice was bland and beans cold. Even chips were sub-par. I wont be going back -will stick with other Mexican eateries. Even TACO BELL is better than this place and just across the street.

The first time I went there the food and service were above average. However, I went there to place a togo order and was told I had to wait to place the order untill they finished ringing each couple out from a party of about sixty. They made me wait for twenty minutes without even taking my order before I lost patience and left.

The staff is very friendly and the service is very prompt ( most of the time unless they are very busy ). The food is basic Mexican but they add some unique twists - so when you go, try any of the specials. The portions are large and the food is always well prepared. This is one of the "go-to" places for lunch and dinner.

We wanted something different on a Sunday night, and friends had recommended El Patron. The restaurant was decorated in a bright, fun atmosphere. The strawberry margaritas were as they should be, Ricardo our server was attentive, and the food was quite enjoyable. We will gladly return in the future.

We are regulars here and make it a weekly place for dinner. Hands down one of the best Mexican restaurant Ive been to and Ive been to a lot. Great service atmosphere quantity quality and price. Tell everyone about it. Just dont go there on Thursday nights that is when we go.

Always excellent service ! Never was much into eating Mexican food . But will say I think they are up there with fiesta halo pino if not better. Me and my wife goes there four times a month. I recommend the beef cassadia. And the frozen lime margarita s are the bomb also .

I dont normally review a place, but the food was terrible. The waiter barely responded when we complained. The chile rilleño looked and tasted like a soggy fried brown slab and the chicken chimichanga looked and tasted like a freezer burrito. Poor Elyria.

Si, señor! El Patron is muy, muy delicioso. Our office lunch group had a great time here today for lunch. We have eagerly been awaiting this place to open for what seemed like years. I am sure this place will be in our weekly rotation from now on.

This is one our favorite restaurants. They have $1.99 margaritas on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday evenings. The service is always great along with the food. the only way this could be better is if they had a patio so we could eat outside.

Pretty good Mexican restaurant. I have visited many times. Portions are a little on the small side which not to common in Mexican Restaurants. Service has always been good. Margaritas could use a bit more Tequila.
