Pretty cool place with a nice 2 story patio out back. My favorite part is that they have moderately priced food with craft cocktails that are $8-$10. Its nice to be able to get some creative cocktails at a place you dont have to spend $25 a plate. I definitely want to try all the drinks on the menu because the suffering bastard, and Roy Orbison were delicious and fresh. We tried the smoked wings and they were excellent. They were very juicy and tender. I usually compared smoked wings to Oak Tavern in Oakley and theses were a little different. The Oak has a little more char grill to them and that taste. North side doesnt have that char, which I liked and they have their own unique taste. Both are amazing just different styles. Only thing was I wished their wings came sauced a little more. Maybe I just got a light batch, I probably could have asked for more. Its a cool atmosphere and I would recommend going.

We dressed up a bit because we thought it was an actual Yacht club. No, its not. Its a neighborhood bar with a good selection of beer and amazing poutine. I lived in Canada for 25 years. This is the best poutine Ive had outside of Canada. Also, not a place for kids. We brought ours and they werent kicked out, but I think thats just because we sat on the roof patio and nobody saw.

After waiting at the bar with $ in hand and witnessing others place and receive their orders before me, I shall be disavowing this clubs staff for all eternity. The management are talented musically but suffer in the quality of their service. My suggestion: Bring a flask and enjoy the fantastic local live music while eschewing the hipster motif and blasé bartenders.

Consistently the best live music you can find in northside, maybe even the city!!! Surprisingly good drink selection and always friendly service. If this place stays open for A long time I will get so fat. Amazing food! Havent had this much fun at a bar since Blue Rock Tavern!!

Northside Yacht Club has great drinks, delicious food, and personal service. This place makes you feel like a regular even if its your first time there. I highly recommend the Yacht Toddy and some lentil chili for a cold night!

Fourth of July Rhinegeist tap take-over and the return of the NSYC burger. That burger was outstanding and definitely big enough to share. It came with fries too. And the fries were out of this world. Great value at just $12.

Fun local bar. The nautical theme is cool, (they have ships lanterns and rigging ropes) and the staff is quick to get you a drink. My only regret is that they got rid of the ping pong table.
