I have put off writing a review on the Chipotle Mexican Grill located in Bexley, Ohio for far too long. But after this evenings yet, another horrible, horrible experience I figured its time to put my two cents in. (Not that I even think it will make a difference, ha.) & After scrolling through several other reviews on this store its no surprise that this location is absolutely nose diving to the ground. My partner and I do however still continue going to this location but only because it is so close to our home. We always walk in hoping that it will be better service than the time before but always leave just as discouraged as the previous visit, if not more. This review isnt triggered by the very slow service, or the lack of preping of ingredients (Always out of something. Lettuce, steak, sour cream.) But the actual guest/customer service. I remember when Chipotle had standards, especially in there hiring. Its very obvious that theyll hire anyone at Bexley. I guess Ill now just share my visit this evening. 7/2/2016 @ 9:45pm. We knew walking in that we were on the bit of the later time to come for dinner, but when you want a burrito and youre open till 10 oclock and youre spending $20+ on food, and paying your crew to do so, we shouldnt be treated any less than the guest there 2 hours prior. Not that I expect they were treated any better based on experience. A young girl, short blonde and blue hair working on tortilla was completely unprofessional. "Oh my god, lock the doors, theyre more people coming! A whole family!" These were the exact comments this paid employee was saying in front of the guest and IN FRONT OF A MANAGER. The manager being a gentlemen with curly brown hair, pulled back in a bun. We have never seen this manager before, theres usually a new one working during shifts every time we go in. His response? Laughing. (The store by the way was still open for another 10 minutes I may add.) And thats not just it, we then waited 10 minutes for steak to be made... No apologize from the manager working on the line. No offering of a drink while waiting or some kind of discount for their lack of service, just continues laughing at his crew member making jokes of locking the door, and being grateful for the fact that they are not open 24 hours. This location disgusts me. Im sure Steve Ells wouldnt appreciate this kind of service for his guest. Im not looking for a free hand out, or an unsympathetic apologies. The only thing Im hoping this review does is get to the right person, who will put their foot down and flip this store. Food with integrity. Start living up to those standards Bexley PLEASE.

Ill start by saying I looooove chipotle !!!! It hurts my soul to leave such a ppor review. Each time I get it I just cant wait to dig in, even with recent health scares I took my chances. This particular location is one of the worst Ive been to. Even in not so desirable neighborhoods. The service sucks, food is always cold and I feel incredibly rushed. Granted this is in a busy area and can easily become crowded with backed up lines. However.... Regardless of how busy they may be, you should still always get what you order. Right?? I placed an online order so that I could pick it up and have time to eat before my lunch break is over. It takes at least 15 minutes to get there, not to mention having to wait 20 minutes longer than pickup time you requested. I called ahead to place a "special" order by phone due to limitations ordering limitations online. I was told that I could not place a phone order and that I could make adjustments in "special instructions" however they totally disregarded the instructions and left half of my order out of the bag. I called upon returning to work and spoke with the manager who was rude, arguementative and hung up the phone on me. As soon aws I explained the issue she proceeded to tell me she didnt know what was wrong with my order. Although I had just told her, then she argued about what I ordered until I asked that she review my order then she said come have my order replaced and hung up on me.

Although in a nice area in Bexley, I’ve made my last trip to this place. I ordered a burrito and a taco, to go – I know how it works – you tell them what to put on. First the girl slapped rice on the burrito (um…no…I didn’t want rice). So we start over. After I chose the things I wanted, I saw the person reach for sour cream – I said NO, and she looked at me like I was nuts. Hey, I don’t like rice and I don’t like sour cream. I don’t care that most people do. After wrapping the burrito, I said “I also wanted a taco”, and she motioned for me to go back to the register and order. Huh? I said “never mind”, paid for the burrito, and left. Later I noticed a strange taste, as if the items had been sitting too long in the steel containers or whatever. I’m done with this place. Guess I have to make my own or go to California or Texas to get decent Mexican food. (And don’t suggest Taco Bell. That’s on the level of dog food.)

Never will i go back! They gave us gritty half cooked rice, and had an attitude about it! As i told the staff to eat it they self they ssid we believe you others have complained, which the manager lied n said we were the only ones! Well I was sitting waiting for the manager to approve my returt, as if they did not just see the burrito I just returned, i had to go, so I took my bag n left. The manager called bexley police and said I STOLE FOOD! The staff was horrible AND THE MANAGER WAS WORSE! As i told the police the problem they said CHIPOTLE was in the wrong! Mean while the manager n staff laughed n made faces like kids! Police said call corporate and thats what i intend to do! Chipotle cast too much n city of bexley is too nice to have this establishment. I love chipotle but hate this location. I agree with the other reviews as well!

My worst Chipotle experience. Im going to pay $6.00+ for a veggie burrito. She put on a tiny pile of rice (cost: 10 cents) and I asked for extra black beans. After she put a tiny pile of beans on top of my tiny amount of rice - I said, "thats extra beans?" - suddenly she had become deaf. So she added about 10 more beans (cost: 25 cents for all beans). Im looking at this huge round burrito laying there with this tiny pile of stuff on it - and all the more I was going to get was lettuce and cheese - no meat - and they wanted me to pay $6.00+ for that? No thank you. I have never walked away in a Chipotle (or anywhere else for that matter). . .but I did tonight. That was a blatant rip-off. Im thinking Im going to go buy the ingredients and save myself the aggravation. Wow.
