The food was great, the delivery guy was polite and doing his job, the resurant is run by morons. I ordered online and paid with my credit card. The delivery boy gave me my food and asked for payment upon arrival. I questioned this to which he showed me a receipt saying I owed $50 and he called his office to clear things up. They said everything was run and paid for already, tip included. The delivery boy apologized and left. 5 mins later, the delivery boy returned explained that it was a mistake and that the card was never actually run and that he needed to phone my card into the restaurant, I made sure to put the $7 tip on again. Delivery boy apologized and left. 5 mins later, I recieve a call saying that a mistake had been made and my card was run twice. I had to read my card number to them again in order for my refund to be processed. Once it was processed, they informed me it would take a week for my money to become available. Im now out $50 for the next week. Morons. I hate them.

This is a great place to get delicious and healthy Chinese food. At other Chinese restaurants a typical dish contains a bit of meat and a variety of healthy vegetables, but its usually not quite as healthy as you think. Thats because its generally stir fried with a lot of oil. China House is different. They have an open kitchen (which I love) so you can see just how different. They have a unique procedure of cooking vegetables in a deep fryer filled with boiling water instead of oil! Then they toss that into a Wok with your choice of meat and cook for a couple of minutes over high heat with little oil. Healthy and delicious! I customize my orders by mentioning specifically to cook the dish with with no oil and I get everything medium spicy even if it normally does not come that way.

Bland food, poor phone communication, management is overly defensive and unhelpful. Multiple times, I ordered an extra side of brown sauce, and the lid broke because they piled too many things on top of it, so brown sauce leaked all over the bag and contents. I told them each time, and asked multiple times if perhaps theres something they can do differently so that it doesnt continue to happen--its quite a mess to clean up. However, the manager, who barely speaks English, says its my problem and that it never happens to anyone else. Somehow they think it has nothing to do with them, and they are unwilling to do anything about it. Time to find a new Chinese restaurant who can package food correctly in a bag, at a minimum.

They messed up on my order. I dont eat meat and specified to the young man that I want vegetarian lunch special. When I got home I took a bite of pork in my rice. It is against my religion to eat meat and upon calling them I was given the option to go back so they can fix it or go the next day. When I went in the young man was very rude when I explained to him how it wasnt just a small mistake to just give me the meal now. When I told him that its against my religion he was dismissive. I told him that I can actually sue them because of this incident and his answer was "go ahead".

I called three times to try to place an order. I was put on hold twice, which is perfectly fine, but each time I got disconnected. The third time I called, I mentioned to the woman on the phone that I had been disconnected, and she condescendingly told me, "These things happen, sweetheart." Sweetheart? Really? Dont patronize this restaurant unless you like rude service.

Holy crap, Im currently staying at the motel 6 and ordered there for the first time at 6:51pm the woman was super nice and said 35 minutes.... 15 minutes later theres a knock on the door and its the delivery driver, she was always very kind and patient with me. Food smells great cant wait to dig in, shout out! Keep up the good work!!

The food is average, but lunch prices are cheap. You get wha tyou pay for. Also, be sure to ask for steamed rice if you want it, default is pork fried rice. Beware of the counter help. The young man who took my order was so rude it was actually funny. Also, there is a $6 credit card minimum.

Actually, the food is really pretty good. I was surprised! They use good ingredients - not your usual Chinese takeout. Get it to go though. Dont sit in that depressing place. Get your food to go, and walk across the river and eat it in the park.

Good food but dont go by the prices listed here or the combos (Lunch combo does NOT include an eggroll)...according to the girl who took my order "Ill talk to them but weve had our current menu for a while." Prices are 1.00-1.50 more than listed.

Ive been going to this place for many years. Since they moved to their new location I ordered Teriyaki Chicken...I think they forgot the Teriyaki Sauce. Very disappointed. I spent a lot of money that day.

Well Pleased. I had terriyaki beef sticks, crab rangoon and Orange beef. being unable to drive i ordered delivery. Food was quite good. hot and tasty. easy to get enough duck sauce just ask! Also came quick

Nice,homey,local environment in walking distance of the center of Berea. Has good chinese food and drink variety and is worth your time to check out if you are looking for something cheap, but appetizing.
