This is NOT the fresh French cuisine I was expecting. First you walk in to find out its not a sit-down restaurant. You order cafeteria style. There was nobody at the salad bar so we figured you must start at the cash register. When I asked where I needed to place my salad order, I was directed back down to the vacant salad station. There was mass confusion among the other guests in line and we were all very perplexed as to who designed this layout. We started with the French onion soup (well, we were supposed to but it didnt come until after the meal when we asked about it). The soup didnt even have a broiled layer of cheese on top, just a sprinkling of cold cheese on a soggy piece of bread. The chicken cordon bleu pasta was literally a carbon copy of a Stouffers Lean Cuisine pasta meal. Its sauce was runny and bland, the vegetables were clearly frozen and the chicken had no taste. When I asked the manager if the food was made fresh, she paused for at least 10 seconds, then said, "ughhh, some things are". It will be my first and last time here. The prices are more than you would expect to pay when you get food thats below the quality of Olive Garden.

So my husband and I decided to go to la Madeline for late breakfast on a Wednesday. We arrived around ten and the place was fairly empty. We both order eggs Benedict and a potato galette. They did not have any potato ready so they asked the cook(in front of us) how long it would be and he said 10 minutes. We agreed that its was fine. Our food arrived my husbands eggs were runny like they should. Mine were like hard boiled eggs. Then the coffee station ran out of coffee. Another customer told them. Ten minutes later a guy comes out to take the coffee urns. We were about done eating. And no potato galette. I went to the register to ask about it. They said that it would be 25 minutes!!!!! I asked for a refund. As we are about to leave. Server comes out with a potato galette. I told her that we got a refund and that we were leaving. She didnt know that we had cancelled our order and told us that the kitchen had filled a to go order prior to giving us our food. Also as we were leaving....still no coffee. I gone to other Madeleine in Houston and Washington DC. Never seen such bad service and food. And the place was not even busy.

Came here for the first time today for lunch with some friends. Beautiful place! Business definitely seems to be doing well as the place was bustling with lunch hour traffic. Helpful to know that if you plan on eating in, there are menus in a little box close to the desserts. After you know what you want to eat, head to the right where you see trays and somewhat of a cafeteria set up. If you want sides or there friands and quiches just ask one of the helpful employees and they will serve it to you. As one reviewer mentioned this place is very new and I think some of the staff are still learning but no one seemed rude to me but then again Im not one to get offended if you arent intentionally trying to offend me. When you get to the register you can order whatever else it is you want on the menu that wasnt on the bar of sides. I had the turkey and brie half sandwich with a side of cesar salad and tomato basil pesto pasta. Yum yum and super yum! I cant wait to come back and try more.

This location just opened in a former Mimis location. I had the Provencal Chicken and Rice Bowl. My wife had the Shrimp Crepe Florentine. The bowl was a generous portion of tender moist chicken with wild rice, roasted tomatoes, artichokes and oves. The crepes had perfectly cooked shrimp with a flavorful sauce. We also shared an excellent potato galette. Prices are very reasonable especially in light of the quality of the food. A wide variety of French pastries are also available. One unusual aspect of this restaurant is that you go to the counter to place your order and then it is delivered to your table when ready.

Food was just ok. My daughter had La Madeleine pasta but said it was watery like they didnt drain the pasta well before they added the sauce. I had the cafe sampler with quiche Lorraine, cranberry pecan salade and creamy potato soupe. It was good, just a little bland, nothing spectacular. It was really slow when we were there, maybe because it was a Monday which may explain why the bead at the bread bar didnt taste as fresh as I expected. The restaurant was clean and the staff was very attentive and friendly.

Meh. Mediocre at best. Service staff seemed overwhelmed even though there was just of handful of customers in the restaurant. Ordered as a group and everything came out one at a time over the course of 15 minutes. French onion soup basically consisted of beef broth, a piece of dried baguette sprinkled with cheese on top. The desserts and the fact it was a quiet place are the only things this place has going for them. The french lessons in the bathroom were cute too.

Recently discovered this wonderful place. The food was amazing, the service was great and fast. The place is beautiful, but still laid-back and cozy enough to feel like youre eating in a family dinner table. The price is great, and the selection of pastries are delicious!!!!!!!! I have told EVERYONE about this place. It is a great little cozy place to either go with your family, with friends, or on a date. Ideal for a Sunday brunch!

Best parfait I have ever had. The granola was somehow chewy and the fruit was delicious. She was great. We ordered an "American coffee" and where given that but what we meant was just a normal home brew which you fill up yourself and can refill as much as you like. We asked the girl there what we shoulf order to be able to do that next time and she told us then gave us a cup to use for it free of charge! Favorite new cafe!

This place is a neat little spot to grab a bite and some great French pastries. The setup is a bit strange. You walk in and go to the counter and order, then you seat yourself and they bring it to you. From the outside it looks like a place where they seat you and look at a menu and order from your table. Its not exactly like that, dont let that stop you from stopping in though because their French cuisine is delicious.

Extremely chaotic no one knows what they are doing. Hot food was not hot. When I mentioned same to the manager her reply was that many of the employees were new and that it was their first weekend open. They should have delayed their opening until the employees were trained then so that the customers were not wasting our money. Extremely disappointing experience.

Very acidic tomato basil soup. Exchanged for french onion soup...it was cold. French roast coffee was very weak and had to request them to remake it. Due to some of the other reviews, Ill probably give it another chance. But I cant recommend this place based on my experience. Will update my review if any future occasions warrant it.
