Jongo Java is a great place to go hangout with friends. They have a very spacious Shop with lots of pictures, couches, games, books, tables, and tasty drinks and snacks. I got the strawberry bubble tea. The taste reminded me of strawberry nesquik, but I love that stuff so it was really good to me. My boyfriend got the strawberry banana smoothie -- it was lightly sweetened and tasted like it was made with real fruit. And my friend got a hot chai latte. Personally, we thought it was a little too spicy, but some half & half and a packet of sugar fixed it right up. Jongo Java isnt my all time favorite coffee house, but its got something for everyone. Definately a worthy place to try out.

Love the atmosphere here. Have been here at separate times with adults, teens, and a small child. Felt comfortable and unobtrusive to other guests each time, as the place is well set-up with different furniture groupings, including a section with toys and books for kids. The only reason this doesnt get five stars is because its so popular that service can be slow at times. Thats not necessarily a bad thing because it forces our instant-loving society to sit down and rest a bit.

I spoke to two employees, Rachel and Sandy, regarding a gift certificate for someone living in Hendersonville. Both had excellent phone presence: courteous, cheerful and willing to help. Awesome place. Weve gone to one other during our trip every year that was also in Hendersonville......a bear out front......and quickly forgotten due to the extreme rudeness of the woman working there in 2012. Do yourself a favor and go to Jongo Java.

Leaving Dupont Forest after a hike I discovered the Jongo Java van, only to realize that it was (somewhat) on my way home! The comfortable atmosphere, the compostable mugs, and the friendliness are what makes this coffee shop so wonderful.

Best coffee shop in town by far. Everything they make is delicious, the staff is so friendly and helpful. They play great music (not too loud either). Also, theyre green! Why would you want to go anywhere else?
