Pieology can best be summed up as the Chipotlefication of pizza. An $8.95 flat rate gets you an 11.5 inch pie with unlimited toppings of your choosing (house favorite pies are listed to aid the indecisive), usually in a matter of minutes. Salads are similarly customizable, and there are a few side and dessert items as well. The two biggest upshots to this concept are flexibility and convenience, and to that end, Pieology acquits itself well. There are enough available crusts, sauces, and toppings for a gluten-sensitive vegetarian and a meat connoisseur to each be satisfied. While Pieology can get busy, the establishment is built to handle a crowd: there is adequate seating both indoors and out and enough caring, well-managed staff to keep the lines moving efficiently. The wait times for pizzas have been as advertised: minimal. The pizzas themselves, however, are fairly pedestrian, definitely better than most freezer pies, but no real threat to the competition. The crusts are very thin, the flavors sometimes muted (the house red sauce more so than the Alfredo), and the pies can be rather greasy as well. Given the convenience and price, this is, perhaps, an inevitable tradeoff, but whether it is one worth making depends on how much of a hurry you are in.

These guys are dirty and unprofessional. Specially the manager he is a black male gentleman with long hairs he dont even know how to talk to customers he argues with customers and never have eye contact and smile. If u want beef they will put little pork or chicken at the end when pizza comes out of oven because they have meat trays right next and they work fast but not accurate. It is sad that a dominos and papa johns service can be better than them and they are located at friendly which is a premium shopping location. They will never use gloves and then touch at pockets, face and touch vegetables and meat that is disgusting service. I dont know who the hell is food inspector for that area and shame on owner who dont know how to run business and who to hire to give customers premium experience and it is not just about eating pizza.

Seemed great when they first opened and staff were being actively trained. Pizza was delicious and cooked perfectly; despite cheaper (yet still great tasting) meats. They have to make a profit somewhere. Id still give them 4 stars 3 weeks ago. Fast forward to today. Staff was friendly for being incredibly young, but this immaturity still showed in the food quality. The pizza was soggy within minutes due to being a bit under cooked, and hours later I am still ill. 3 weeks ago, I was wanting to make this a regular joint. Now Im probably going to wait a few months to give it a second, final shot. Ive got my fingers crossed they can pull it together.

Just had my first Pieology experience.... I will absolutely be back! Fantastic pizza for the price. I ordered online and added a ton of toppings, yet it was still under $10 with tax! My order was ready when I walked in, the employee grabbed my pizza, showed it to me, offered additional items (such as grated cheese, a plastic bag), and I was on my way. Overall, I had a fantastic first experience!

The pizza is amazing! I love that you can build your own pizza down a line like at Chipotle. I only gave it 4 stars because its a small space for as busy as they are most of the time. And, it can get pretty loud when its busy. Other than that, try it out!!! The pizza is by far the best in town. Its nice, especially since Greensboro has terrible pizza places. A good one is finally here!

Delicious, fresh ingredients in pizzas and salads. Everything is prepared in front of you and is not frozen or pre-made. They wood-fire their pizzas which tastes glorious. The staff is very friendly and personable- the manager took time to get to know my family as if he had all the time in the world on a busy Saturday night. Highly recommend supporting this business!

This is the best new place in Greensboro for pizza! You can get a personal pizza or to share with someone else. The ingredients are fresh and there are plenty of toppings, meats, cheeses, sauces and toppings. It is the Chipotle of pizza places and it is awesome! The staff are friendly, the restrooms are fine and the place always seems to be clean.

Id give Pieology 3 stars based on the flavor of the food. Our custom pizza tasted great! The sauce has a nice punch, and the crust a nice crunch. However, the employees were lacking energy and didnt seem to want to be there. It was a dull atmosphere. For pizza lovers who dont need a bubbly atmosphere or employees, give Pieology a try.

Yummy pizza which you can personalize to your taste. The pricing system allows me to load my pizza with vegetables without an upcharge for each topping. Todays staff was attentive and polite. I have visited a few times previously when the staff was a bit more disinterested. They were efficient but a bit blah in their customer service.

Went here today for the first time and was thoroughly impressed. Very clean very nice friendly staff. Hidden away in a corner of Friendly Center it maintained a steady flow of customers. The ingredients were set up like subway, you name it, they have it, and put it on your pie. They also do salads. Great, inexpensive place.

My first time here with friends was great. Their customer service is way above average and the food is excellent. Also kudos to the managers (or owners?) who were on the dining floor helping customers, getting to-go boxes for people, and cleaning off tables. They clearly care about keeping their staff and customers happy.

The pizza was a good margarita pizza, but not exceptional. The salad was fresh with good dressing on the side. Its like a burrito place, but instead its pizzas. I thought it was odd that were no salt and pepper shakers for use on the tables. Overall, Im not sure it beats the other pizza options locally.

We love eating gere, always friendly, great prices for all the choices you get, and we love their dessert pizzas. Only con is getting the pizza to the table, Sinema the numbers get messed up or not on the right order. We will still definetly be going back and trying other locations!

Love the friendly staff! The concept is great, all pies are same price no matter his many ingredients. Create your own or order the pre named personal pies. Delivered to your table in minutes nice and hot! I had the Alfredo Alfredo with some added ingredients....loved it!

My experience was 50/50. Love the food and all the different ingredients. Employees have a pretty bad attitude though. I do not like the way they treated me and my girlfriend for wanting a very simple pizza. Give me more respect and I might give pieology another chance.

This is a fairly new pizzeria in the Greensboro Friendly shopping area, I was a little skeptical at first but my wife and I went in and tried it and it was very good. A build your own Pizza, with multiple selections of meats and toppings, kind of a of chipotle style.

Fantastic pizza made your way. One of the few places I dont have to ask for extra cheese just to get enough. Fast and friendly service and the pizzas come out piping hot in only a few minutes. I recommend the spicy chicken with the buffalo sauce topping.
